Nian Jiezhen's parents arrived in China within that same week after receiving the news about their daughter's pregnancy.

Jing Wanru and her husband were really glad to learn that their daughter was already married and pregnant.

"When do you plan on holding your wedding?" Asked Jing Wanru.

She was currently accompanying Nian Jiezhen in the market.

"Maybe after a year or two." She responded while pus.h.i.+ng the cart.

Her mother frowned when she heard her answer, "That's too long."

"We're already married, the celebration can be delayed later." Nian Jiezhen didn't care about having a wedding. 

Jing Wanru ended up sighing heavily. How the h.e.l.l did she end up giving birth to such a daughter?

Finally, her shoes were a pair of crystal gla.s.s high heeled shoes that were adorned with a feminine bow design.

Xia Meilin's bridesmaid was only Nian Jiezhen who was wearing a beautiful baby blue line dress which showed off her shockingly long and unique legs.

"So, when do you plan on marrying Ren s.h.i.+yuan?" Xia Meilin asked with a grin plastered on her lips.

The only people who know that Nian Jiezhen was pregnant and already married were her parents and Ren s.h.i.+yuan's parents. 

"Hm… after a year or two, maybe even eight years I guess." Nian Jiezhen answered with a serious face as she received Xia Meilin's veil from the makeup artist and helped her put it on.

"Ah… I suddenly feel sorry for Ren s.h.i.+yuan."

The reason why Nian Jiezhen was chosen by Xia Meilin to become her bridesmaid was because she took a bullet to save Lu Yifeng. Aside from that, because of Nian Jiezhen's cool work, Xia Meilin started seeing Nian Jiezhen in a different light.

"You know, if you made him wait long, he might get tired and break up with you." She looked at her underneath her veil.

Nian Jiezhen furrowed her brows, "Are you trying to jinx my relations.h.i.+p with him?"

Xia Meilin shrugged her shoulders, "Who knows? But to be honest, one thing I know about Ren s.h.i.+yuan, he is not a very patient person. He'll definitely try to persuade you from time and time again before you know it."

"Then I guess I will have to teach him how to wait."

"What if finds someone else?"

Nian Jiezhen lowered her head. She was already married to Ren s.h.i.+yuan, she also knew his pasts with other women. What if he suddenly got tired of her and asked her for a divorce?

Nian Jiezhen clenched her fists as she looked away. She has already given up her work for Ren s.h.i.+yuan's sake.

"If you're in a relations.h.i.+p, both of you should work on it. Don't let Ren s.h.i.+yuan work alone in your relations.h.i.+p. You should trust him more, not only that, you should be brave enough to keep your relations.h.i.+p together!

Nian Jiezhen hated to admit it but she knew that what Xia Meilin said was right.

The quiet room was disturbed when Xia Meilin's phone started ringing. She took it and looked at it, she saw Li Bingbing's name on the screen.

Because of Li Bingbing's situation, she couldn't attend her best friend's ceremony but…

Xia Meilin couldn't help but smile when she saw Li Bingbing, "Can't you at least dress prettily today?"
