A Warrior's Path 34 Chapter 34. Wood Style Reappears!!

Kakas.h.i.+ took out two bells from his pocket, he said

' Your test is simple. You have to take this bell from me by the end of the day otherwise you fail '.

Ryu calmly looked at Kakas.h.i.+. Kakas.h.i.+ also stared at Ryu, before Kakas.h.i.+ could dodge he was punched to the face. Kakas.h.i.+ turned into a cloud of smoke but Ryu didn't panic. He looked to a certain direction

' Kakas.h.i.+ sensei, intel gathering is vital for a Ninja. Don't tell me, you don't know about my ability as a sensor '.

After saying this Ryu made a few hand signs

' Wind style: Vacc.u.m blade '

The air rippled and went towards the forest. Trees were cut down and from one of them, a Shadow jumped out and stood before Ryu.

Kakas.h.i.+: A sensor..you are an Uzumaki after all. Guess it was my negligence.

Ryu: You should have asked the old man about me. Was there a precedent when a single Jounin was a.s.signed to a Genin?

Kakas.h.i.+ thought ' I did think it's weird why the Hokage would place a single Genin under me but I thought it was due to him being an Uzumaki. But it seems like there is more to it '.

Kakas.h.i.+ removed his forehead protector from his left eye revealing his Sharingan. From the strength Ryu revealed before Kakas.h.i.+ understood that the kid before him is not simple. He needs to go all out.

Both of them stood there staring at each other, Ryu made a few hand signs

' Fire style: grand fire ball Jutsu '

A huge fire ball was launched towards Kakas.h.i.+ who also did the same Jutsu

Both Jutsus collided but Ryu's Jutsu was stronger. It pierced through Kakas.h.i.+'s jutsu and continued towards Kakas.h.i.+.

Kakas.h.i.+: Water style: water wall

He created a water wall Infront of him. The fire ball collided with the water and let out steam. Ryu took this opportunity, he moved fast and got behind Kakas.h.i.+. Kakas.h.i.+ was no pushover, he was a genius who became a Jounin at the age of Ten. He threw a kunai towards Ryu.

Ryu deflected it with his own, this split second gave kakas.h.i.+ the opportunity he needed. By now he realised how dangerous of an opponent Ryu is. He created a Mud wall between them blocking Ryu's eyesight. Eventhough Ryu could sense Kakas.h.i.+, in a battle, vision is very important. A split second of confusion is all it needs to take down your opponent.

Kakas.h.i.+ appeared behind Ryu with his hand covered in lightning

Kakas.h.i.+: Chidori!

Ryu backhanded his attack with his own Chidori. Both of them staggered back a few steps. Ryu looked at Kakas.h.i.+, Limiting himself to a Jounin and fighting kakas.h.i.+ proved to be hard. That's a genius for you.

Kakas.h.i.+ was also amazed, first he didn't think Ryu would be that strong, second Ryu performed Chidori. This technique was something he developed, he hasn't taught this to anyone before.

Kakas.h.i.+: How do you know that technique?

Ryu: I developed it. Just that...i didn't think you would have the same technique.

Kakas.h.i.+ said with dead eyes: I also developed mine.

Ryu teased Kakas.h.i.+: Well...do you also know it's other forms?

Kakas.h.i.+: What other forms?

Ryu: So you don't.. huh. My Chidori has Four forms. The first one we both used. As for the other forms..

Saying upto here Ryu made hand signs

' Chidori 2nd form: Cleaver '

The lightning extended from his hand like a long blade. Sounds of thousands of birds chirping could be heard. Kakas.h.i.+ was amazed by Chidori's next level application. Ryu took this opportunity when Kakas.h.i.+ was dazed and attacked him

Kakas.h.i.+ barely dodged it when he saw the lightning in Ryu's hand disperse. He them saw dozens of needles made of lightning form in air. These needles produced sparks all over its body

' Chidori 3rd form: Piercer '

These needles attacked kakas.h.i.+ from all directions, he quickly made a few hand signs and touched the ground

' Earth style: Mud wall '

Four thick mud walls appeared from the ground and surrounded Kakas.h.i.+. The Chidori needles pierced through the mud walls. The mud walls looked like a beehive after the attack.

The walls crumbled but kakas.h.i.+ was gone. He appeared beneath Ryu

' Water style: water prison '

Kakas.h.i.+ did the same attack by Zabuza of the mist did to trap him in a ball of water. Ryu was caught inside the water ball. Ryu struggled to break free but got out of breath and fainted.

Kakas.h.i.+ was about to release the Jutsu when a chain made of lightning surrounded him. The Ryu inside the water ball vanished and the original Ryu appeared infront of him with the other end of the chain in his hands.

' Chidori 4th form: Chain '

These chains have two functions, they paralyse the opponent and restrain them. Ryu walked upto Kakas.h.i.+. Just as he was about to reach for the bell, a kunai was placed on his throat.

Kakas.h.i.+: Game over.

Ryu: Correct sensei. Game over.

They stayed in that position with kakas.h.i.+ placing a kunai on Ryu's throat but Ryu also had a kunai pointed backwards to Kakas.h.i.+'s gut.

Both of them backed out.

Ryu: Guess I'll have to use that. Anyway, It's fun to watch the old man's reaction when he learns of it.

Ryu brought his palms together. Kakas.h.i.+ had a bad feeling seeing this, he immediately attacked

Ryu: Wood style: Wood prison

As he said those words, wood popped out of the ground blocking kakas.h.i.+. He retreated very fast but the wood kept chasing him. Ryu created a wood clone and attacked Kakas.h.i.+.

Kakas.h.i.+ was already having trouble dealing with the attack and now Ryu joined the Frey. The result was him being restrained and captured inside a cage of wood. Ryu calmy went forward and took the bells.

Ryu: I win.

Kakas.h.i.+ still with his deadpan eyes said: Wood style!! You are able to use wood style!!

Years after Has.h.i.+rama Senju, finally a person appeared having Wood Style.
