He still looked like a grandpuncle version of Wilfred with the same (trademark) bushy black beard, which ran the length of his round chin, so the tips was a finger span away from his collarbone.
He also still wore a navy-blue Lincoln top hat to lend a few graces of height to his short stature. As well as the Evadale Knight navy-blue attire being a single breasted jacket (opened to reveal his double-breasted vest with gold b.u.t.tons running parallel lengths down his lean torso), white cotton s.h.i.+rt and black silk cravat with the ends tucked into his vest.
A well-worn double belt (with a gun holstered to his right and short sword sheathed to his left) was evenly balanced on his hips. His broad-toe polished black shoes had the Evadale Knight Order's iconic star stamped all over the vamps.
"You're as beautiful as our Captain and Colonel has described to me." He politely approached me.
The Colonel mentioned I was beautiful to him? I was unable to stop my cheeks from blus.h.i.+ng with a stupid shade of red.
"Stop spreading tall tale Admiral Smithsonian." Leinard interrupted with his usual stoic presence.
He was standing near the drawing room's doorway.
"Oh, my dear Colonel, since when do I say such things? I think we both know that I'm speaking a fact here."
Leinard gritted his teeth. "What brings you from the Fourth District? Surely it's not a visit to see your grandchildren."
"No. I have a favour to ask of Famine, and now that I think of it, the First Squadron."
Leinard sighed and nodded. "I'll call a Council of Squad Leaders."
"Have Famine's brothers join us as well." Deacon said over his shoulder when he turned to leave the drawing room from the main archway.
Leinard came up to me. "Famine, could I have a word with you alone?"
I was about to answer when I heard Death clear his throat. He was standing next to Trix at the doorway.
"We won't be in your way." Trix grinned as he nudged Death along with him.

Death glared at Leinard as he pa.s.sed him and left the room through the archway.
We were alone.
