My question was answered when I saw him enter the amphitheatre from an opposite side of the stage. Wilfred, Lita and Jensen follow his lead. Their patchwork overcoats billowed out behind them as they stoically entered the arena.
Everyone waited for them to take their seats on our bench next to Colin. I noticed Trix wasn't wearing his monocle mapgla.s.s.
Silence fell upon the amphitheatre. Deacon kicked off the meeting.
"My fellow squad leaders and knights, thank you for taking time to attend this meeting." He formally acknowledged his audience.
He delved into the reason for this meeting without beating around the bush.
The incident at the Red Shoe Tavern with the Baleful Rider's (Deacon termed the pale rider from hearing locals call it this) capture of an Evadale Knight's ego had become wide spread gossip throughout the Second District within a matter of minutes.
The Illuminate Group had enforced a temporary closure of the tavern whilst it was under an investigation.

"Leading the taskforce for this investigation is Captain Bryan Adams." Deacon soberly pointed out, causing a mad flurry of whispers and cussing around the audience.
"Knights!" Leinard's voice carried over the theatre to quieten the audience.
My memories touched on an impeccable dressed colonel woman of the Illuminate Group with bright red lipstick caked over her mouth and glamorous features. Surely, this wasn't the same person.
"She's slept her way back up to Captain." A vicious comment came out of the crowd.
"Possibly." Deacon didn't disregard the fact. "Despite her demotion from Colonel, she still held strong connections to ensure her return to ranks. Now she has the power to shut down our organization if we allow her."
"She has been on this case for a long time." Leinard added. "Whilst we were undergoing problems with the labyrinth, the Pale Rider was claiming souls at the dead of night."
"This incident at the tavern has made citizens loose confidence with our abilities to protect." Deacon soberly informed the crowd.
"So, what does this mean?" Trix asked.
"It means we loose control of the labyrinth. Our work towards devaluing the High King's Sol Saviour will fall into the hands of the Illuminate Group for good." Deacon didn't mince his words.
The audience broke out with an outburst of cursing and cries of concern.
"Dat Sol Saviour be a weapon of destruction! Surely dat group can't agree to its existence!" A knight shouted as he stood from his bench.
I scoffed at the sight of an older Gavin whose fiery red hair tumbled about his small ears and around his nape and sides. His green eyes carried a sternness making his angled features and square jaw (carpeted with light stubble) appear more manly. There was still a line of freckles dotting his nose and cheeks. His patchwork overcoat held the insignia of a captain on his shoulders. It flapped open against the breeze to reveal his firm and muscly body in the knight's gentleman navy-blue uniform, and a set of guns docked in their holsters.
"I'm well aware of that Captain Oberon." Deacon acknowledged Gavin's concerns.
I chuckled at the mention of Gavin's full name.
"Something funny Chibi?!" Gavin directed his scornful eyes to me.
All the knights turned to face me.
