When XuanFei heard that even her mother decided to abandon her child, she could not help but wail loudly. Due to stress, the red patch on her dress became wider, indicating that the flow of blood on her lower body increased.

Xiao Lou tacitly moved away from the bed and let the imperial physician approach XuanFei without saying anything. She stood at the edge of the bed, worrying for XuanFei's safety. Since she had decided to abandon her grandchild, Xiao Lou would not urge the Imperial Physician to save the child but with regards to XuanFei's situation, Xiao Lou was afraid that if the bleeding continue, it would affect XuanFei's health and could even lead to difficulty in conceiving another child later on. Worst, XuanFei could lose her life due to loss of blood.
When the Imperial Physician started working, he ordered Xiao Lou to leave the room to avoid any disturbance. Without any other choice, Xiao Lou could only wait outside.
When XuanFei saw the Imperial Physician, she weakly grabbed the old man's clothes, begging him to save her child.
"Please…Please.. save my child! You have to save my child!"

XuanFei's eyes were bloodshot red, glaring at the imperial physician who did not budge a little bit even after hearing her words. Frustrated, XuanFei's face were full of anger and helplessness.

When the imperial physician heard XuanRong's threat, he only took a glance at her before resuming his work as if he did not hear XuanRong's words.

The imperial physician had been staying in the imperial palace for almost two decades. During those years, he had encountered many cases like this and had seen many schemes and plot inside the imperial harem. Slowly, she drifted into slumber.
The imperial physician wiped his sweat as he tried to stop the bleeding. Due to stress, the flow of the blood would not stop no matter what he did. He was afraid that if it continues, XuanFei's life would be in danger.
The Imperial physician sighed. While he was busy trying to stop XuanFei's bleeding, he did not notice someone placed an odorless powder on the herbs that were prepared to stop the bleeding.

XuanLi's steps were fast. Only a couple of minutes had past but he was able to reach the courtyard where XuanFei was currently staying. His face was read due to anger and worry. He could not believe that in a very important day such as this, XuanFei would create trouble.
Pa.s.sing the octagon entrance, XuanLi arrived at the front of the courtyard and saw Xiao Lou standing in front of the door.
When he saw his wife, anger burst forth inside his heart.
He unconsciously gnashed his teeth and hastily walked forward.
When Xiao Lou noticed that someone was walking towards her, she turned her head and saw XuanLi.
"Husband.."
