With the force, Jun Kai had flown away onto the floor . Mi Rong got up and was shocked . She felt slightly guilty, maybe she had used too much strength .

Jun Kai would have been able to stable himself together if it was not for the liquor left in his system . He stumbled onto the ground . When he had flown to the floor, the sharp corner of a table had made a long scratch on his arms . Blood was slowly oozing from his new wound .

Though there was some pain, he did not show any signs of pain on his face . Instead, with his face down, he revealed a devilish smile . There was only a mocking smirk on his ashen face .

By the time, Mi Rong had already gotten out of the bed and rushed towards Jun Kai . She felt sorry inside and her face was showing it all .

She carefully approached him and knelt down to the person who was looking at the floor . Mi Rong reached her hand out and gently placed it on one of his shoulders, "Are you alright?"

Slowly, Jun Kai left his eyes from the floor and looked at the person in front of him . He could tell that she was worried from the look in her eyes .

With his good arm, he slowly lifted it up . His big hand gently placed itself beside her face . Her small face fit perfectly in his big hand .

But why would she be worried? Maybe it was all an act . As his eyes were on her face, his thoughts began wondering . Do you also hate me like everyone else? I'm nothing but useless . Maybe, maybe that's why everyone keeps leaving me . If you knew that I'm useless, would you also leave me too?

Jun Kai felt at a loss . His mind was mentally tired for these past few weeks it had been one blow after the other . He had searched for his mother but she was gone because he was useless .

Without realizing, a crystal clear tear fell from his handsome face . His facial expression was as he was broken .

Mi Rong had been keeping her eyes on Jun Kai . She watched as pain was slowly devouring him . She had watched as a strong man like him break down in front of her .

Once again, another tear ran down his face . His hand that had been holding onto Mi Rong's face fell on the floor . With that his eyes looked away from Mi Rong .

On the other hand, Mi Rong felt a surge of sorrow towards him . She gently leaned forward and pulled him with her arms behind his neck . Jun Kai fell into her warm and comforting embrace .

Jun Kai was stunned . He was frozen on the spot or rather his cold heart was melted . His sharp eyes slowly closed .

Mi Rong could feel Jun Kai more relaxed . She did not like seeing him in that kind of pit for she had once been in a broken pit herself when she had left to come here .

Above the house the moon was in the night sky . If any skywatcher had looked at the moon, one would know that it was almost the full moon cycle .

Not long, Jun Kai took a few deep breaths out . When he could finally calm himself, he gave a soft nodge to the person embracing him .

Mi Rong released her arms from him and returned to sit down in front of him, "I'll treat your wound for you . "Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www . webnovel . com for visiting .

Jun Kai merely nodded . Mi Rong got up and went back to her room to get her medicine box . Only Jun Kai was left behind in his room .

He made himself comfortable and laid his back on the wall . Jun Kai rested his head on the wall . His eyes were staring at the ceiling at a loss . He began recalling of what had happened and a soft smile appeared on his face .

Maybe, just maybe, he thought to himself . . .
