An kaira was smiling to himself as he looked at his phone. he had just got the news of An kai's hospitalisation. he strode to the wine shelf to celebrate but he soon got are more enticing thought, he dialed his phone with delight. he was writing a message [ my dear bro has been hospitalized because he had a fight with his wife over that !] after sending that, he even sent the video that was running so wild via the internet and the other person replied with a [thank you, I will treat you to a meal but which hospital is he?]

it was already nearing midnight. the Green land hospital in the northern valley of Rostar was quiet except for the nurses's footsteps heard through the corridors. Roline was lipping slightly as she moved towards An kai's room.

Xia was seated outside the room on a bench when she saw Roline approaching, she moved herself further so that Roline could sit. Xia knew nothing about the cause of An kai's current condition because the driver just brought her over without any explanation.

"what happened to my poor boy? he has never suffered anything beyond a cold. I can't imagine the pain he felt when that injury occurred on his head. he has never nursed a wound, he had no scars but now, he will have to bare the scar on the back of his head..... Xia was sad. she spoke with a layer of mist forming in her eyes but what worried her the most was the fact that An kai had not woken up yet. he lay quietly on the bed, Roline looked at Xia and then An kai. she wanted to explain herself but the words got stuck in her throat. she stared blankly at An kai through the gla.s.ses, she wanted to go closer but what if he woke up? will he push her away? or curse at her? but the pain that lingered in her heart didn't stop, she even felt it digging deeper into her soul. she stood there until Christina came to call her back to her room. Xia didn't want to leave An kai a lone so she left them to go head.

actually, the doctors had already said that An kai would be fine but they also mentioned that An kai had secured a slight internal injury. but it was curable with medication so that wasn't going to be a major problem since they had enough money to afford them. but that didn't stop Xia from worrying, she couldn't even dose when An kai was in the hospital with such a valunable expression, so weak and out of hope but bad days always stick with you when you're at your lowest!

that night, Xia had gone to use the bathroom when a young woman came in with a scuff on her head and sun gla.s.ses. she had a small bag but when she searched through it, it presented a small camera. she took some few photos of An kai before rus.h.i.+ng out but on her way out, she b.u.mped into Christina. the other party apologised and left but the woman didn't head out as she had intended. she stood in one spot like thinking of something until a name suddenly sounded in her mind, "Tinah!"

yes, she must be the one. I can't be mistaken, can I?..but Tinah died. she died in fire at Mercy hospital. the woman started shaking her head like dismissing her own thoughts. she thought about it before removing her scuff, gla.s.ses and putting away her camera, and she walked back inside following Christina.

before Christina knocked into the woman, she had gone out side to get some fresh air but Roline whom she had left asleep called her back so she moved straight to Roline's room not giving heads from where she was coming from. the woman kept her distance until Christina entered into Roline's room. she was able to see and identify Roline through the gla.s.s window. Roline was on her bed as Christina bent slightly to hear what she was saying so they couldn't see any one looking at them with daggers in her gaze. the woman took her camera out and took a photo of Roline on bed but the second one captured Christina's face because she was turning towards the door and the woman left looking at the last photo she took. her eyes were even burning with hatred after looking at the photo over and over again. she was confirming it that the woman she b.u.mped into was Tinah.

" I don't let people like you to continue running around on the earth's surface! the woman said every word through gritted teeth, even tears began streaming down her face but there was no hint of crying. she used too much force in her steps scaring the little nurse at the front desk.

"miss, are you alright?" the little nurse asked out of care but the next voice that drifted into her ears scared her wits out. the woman roared with " mind your own business!" even the muscles on her neck had tightened. her eyes were red.
