Kai kept scrolling through the messages until it was almost 4 in the morning that he layed down near Roline and closed his eyes. it took him another full hour for him to sleep.

Roline woke up at around nine o'clock in the morning, moving her hand to feel the spot next to her but it was empty and cold at the same time.

Roline remembered that she was still waiting for An kai to finish bathing when sleep drowned her but now, Kai wasn't in bed yet he slept late. she didn't wash up first but went down to check for An kai.

looking from up the stairs, she saw him busy arranging breakfast on the table. he was wearing a vest so he only added on an eplone.

seeing him from up, made her feel that she had something valuable to hide. she moved back in and washed up in a hurry before picking a t-s.h.i.+rt from the closet and went with it down.

Kai pulled the chair behind so that she could sit but she just went in his back.

why did you take so long to get out of the bathroom yesterday? I waited but you never came and when I woke up, you were not in bed.

the duo looked at every flower in the garden.

Roline was wearing garden gloves so she carried the flowers cut in to the house and started putting them in to the empty flowers vessels in the house as An kai tried to add water in them.

should I take you to walk around the village? there is so much to see out there. An kai said. it was still early for the two to sit down yet they had come to enjoy themselves.

Roline looked at herself before saying no, I don't want to change and I can't go out like this.

"it's okay, you can go like that if you want to. "we won't find so many people on the way. we shall just walk around to pa.s.s some time.

they walked around with no aim at all. Roline would tease An kai out of habit and they would end up running as kai chesed Roline.

it was nearing 6 in the evening when the two got back. Roline was in An kai's back.

this place is too quiet, we didn't find even kids shouting all-over like in real villages.

the name of this place should be changed to something else like.. Chendigwa isolation center. Roline kept talking until they entered in the house. the person one in the back didn't want to get down.

"dear, we're home. Kai said.

hmm, I know! it's just that I don't want to do anything, ranging from showering, walking nor sleeping without you today.

after listening, Kai moved up stairs with the smiling Roline on his back. he took her right in the bathroom.

"am not angry! bathe me or take me to bed. let me sleep with all this dirt on me. she spoke like one about to cry.

"okay, I will do it. you don't have to act so spoilt. he said as he went to remove her buggy s.h.i.+rt. she stood up so that he could remove her Patra too. he acted like nothing was happening. after bathing her, he carried her out and did everything required. brought her a gla.s.s of milk just like the days before, tissues were not in the house but Roline didn't let him run away this time round....
