Roline looked at An kai and felt something burning inside her. she looked at the way his lips moved when talking to the kids. he seemed very happy as he smiled at them sweetly.

sensing someone looking at him, An kai changed the boys thoughts back to the game and went to Roline.

An kai looked at Roline for some time before pulling her in for a hug.

"am sorry if am forgetting my responsibility towards you. my attention was on the kids this whole time. he said as he parted her on the back.

"Kai, stop brus.h.i.+ng your hands on me. your touch makes me uncomfortable. am too sensitive these to your touch. Roline said as she pulled herself a way and headed back to the kids without looking back. An kai walked after her.

I don't know if we're going to last in this world like this. Kai sighed and walked up to the kids again.

"we should go play soccer now boys, my time here is running out. An kai said to the little boys who were playing with toys.

it was already 6 pm when An kai got to Roline so that they can head home.

"are all the kids here fine? she asked as Kai drove.

"yes, they have no major problems. they need some money to go school and maybe some new buildings since there number is increasing day by day.

"aunt Xia used to bring me here when I was young to play with the kids that were there by then, but it's sad that I won't be able to see those boys ever again. they were adopted and taken to other places and countries. Kai explained calmly.

when they reached home, Roline headed straight for the shower as An kai went to get her something to eat, not forgetting the gla.s.s of milk.

it didn't take long before An kai got out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his lower body. his s.h.i.+rtless arms were drying his hair with a small towel.

Roline didn't look at him, she kept her gaze on the gla.s.s of milk she was holding.

she took the milk carefully this time so that it doesn't leave any traces on her lips. after putting the gla.s.s down, she walked towards the bed but later stopped by An kai.

"aren't you forgetting something? my lips say that something is missing on the gla.s.s of milk you have taken.

Roline didn't answer, she went on to lay in bed casually. An kai didn't persist either, he moved in to bed right after Roline and then pulled her closer. seeing Roline's unresponsive behavior, An kai pulled her even closer and started to tress down her face using his thumb.

she closed her eyes and felt him leaving her neck down to her chest. feeling An kai's hands moving carelessly made her thoughts to run wild.
