REBORN: Revenge 484 Revenge 485: He Was Having An Affair

"W-What? What am I doing here?"

James just woke up from his long twenty-four-hour sleep, and when he looks around the room that he is in, he is very confused.

He is also unsure how to react to the situation that he is in. The last thing that he remembered before losing his consciousness is that he is on his way to meet some important people.

As he is about to get off from the bed, someone suddenly barged in. "I advice you not to get from the bed all of a sudden, Mr. Coleman." 

James looks at that person who just talked to him and he frowned. It's a male doctor. To have a male doctor to come and meet him like this must mean that something bad had happened to him.

'Was I seriously injured? But I don't feel anything painful in any parts of my body.' 

"Excuse me, Doctor, what am I doing here? And for how long have I been here?" James asked.

"You've been here for almost ten hours, Mr. Coleman." Hearing that James is extremely shocked. What shocked him the most is that he is missed the meeting with an extremely important man! "As for the reason you're here. Well, it seems to me that you've been really stressed out to the point you pa.s.sed out. I advise you, Mr. Coleman to keep your health in check. And please, don't worry, this hospital made sure that your name won't be leaked out on the public."

Stressed out? He's here at the hospital, sleeping, for ten hours straight because of stress? 'What kind of nonsense is that?!' James inwardly said.

James glanced at the doctor. From the doctor's expression is doesn't seem like he was joking with him. But there is a part of him that tells him that none of what is happening right now makes any sense.

Before the doctor leaves his room, he told him that the hospital bills were paid by a certain man who saw him lying unconscious on the ground. That statement put a frown on James' face, but soon after, he immediately forgot about it. 

As long as his hospital bill has been paid, then there is nothing for him to worry about. After all, he doesn't have enough money to pay for hospital bills. The place he has been thrown at by his family is at the place where he doesn't live a luxurious as he was before and the money that he now is limited.

So far living at such a place is like a h.e.l.l to him. His wife and daughter kept on complaining and complaining that they can't buy the things that they want and that they are not used to live such a life.

So is he. He feels the same way. He doesn't like the way they are living right now, but what can they do? They are not trusted anymore and the whole Coleman family is looking down on them like dirt.

However, all of that will be over once he and the important person he is supposed to meet with made the deal secure.

James took a look at his phone, however, when he tried to turn it on, it was out of battery and he is starting to get frustrated. 'd.a.m.n it! That person must have thought that I ditched him! I can't lose the deal like this just because I collapsed earlier!' James inwardly panicked, then he hurriedly left the hospital.

At a shabby place that James' family is currency staying at, James' wife and daughter are waiting for the man to get home. It has been a day and they have not seen him.

"That is it! I'm going to search for your father!" Gloria announced. She can't stand waiting impatiently for her husband any longer. Her husband said to her yesterday that he is going to meet an important client and will be back soon, but he is still not home.

As time went by while waiting for James to come back home, Gloria is having an imagination that the 'important client' her husband was talking about earlier was a woman.

Gloria doesn't have the love for her husband anymore, but she can't lose him. James is her only way to escape this miserable place. She knows that her husband has a plan to climb up once again, and if she can't pin down her husband and let him fool around and find another woman, there will be no future for her.

'No! I can't let that happen! I don't want to live this life!' Being poor again is making Gloria miserable. She knows exactly what kind of life it is living like a poor person.

The money that they have no is better than she had before marrying James, but it is not enough. She still feels like she is reliving her life in the past.

At every pa.s.sing moment that she sleep in this shabby house, she feels like she's getting dirty and is drowning in the mud.

Just as Gloria about to stormed her way out of the house, James suddenly appeared. He walked in, but he didn't even glance at his wife and daughter. He was in a hurry to get his phone charged.

Seeing that he was in a hurry and his clothes are in a mess, Gloria's face turned red in anger. Her guess was right! James did see a woman yesterday! 'He didn't even try to hide it!' She inwardly said.

Watching her father walking up the stairs in a hurry, and then watching her mother turn red in anger and followed her father upstairs, Sharon is having the same image as her mother. And just like her mother, she is also displeased that her father is seeing another woman.

In the master's bedroom, James is waiting for his phone to at least have one percent so that he can call 'that' person. While he is waiting, Gloria threw her heel on James. 

What just happened was so unexpected to the point that it made James angry. He glared at Gloria, then asked her, "What the h.e.l.l is wrong with you?!"

"What's wrong with me?! What's wrong with me?! It is so obvious that I am angry at you! How dare you do this to me and to your daughter!" Gloria screamed at the top of her lungs.

At every word that Gloria is releasing is putting a question mark in James' mind. He has no idea what made Gloria so upset, and his temper is also rising because of the screaming Gloria is making.

"How could you…! How could you do this to me and to your daughter?! Do you even care about Sharon anymore?!" Even though James is not saying it, Gloria knows that James doesn't love her even for a bit. Since day one of their marriage, she knows he never had any feelings for her.

Truthfully, the only person that James only cared about is their daughter. So using her daughter's name in this situation will make James feel guilty and ashamed of himself, at least that is what she thinks.

At this point, James had enough hearing all the nonsense coming out of Gloria's mouth. So he stood up, walks towards her, then held her by the neck. "Woman! I don't know what is the problem here, but don't you dare involve my daughter in your nonsensical drama!"

This very drama Gloria is putting on, James knows about it all too well. Before, he didn't mind it because he can calm Gloria down just by buying her whatever she wants, but right now, he doesn't have anything to give to her and doesn��t want to put up with her acts.

'It's better to shut her up at this moment.' James inwardly declared.

Bearing with the pain, Gloria managed to talk back to her husband. "You know what I'm talking about! It's about you and your s.l.u.tty mistress!" 

That answer almost caught James off guard, he didn't expect that is what's going on her mind. Gloria is not the type to care about these things in the first place, and he confuses why she is acting up right now, but it does not mean that she is forgiven for throwing her heels at him.

"Mistress? Where on earth did you even get that idea? Do you really think that I have the time to fool around in the critical situation that where are in right now?!" He knows that Gloria is too useless in every aspect. In the situation that they are in right now, he expected her to be useful, but in the end, it's not happening.

"Don't even try to lie! Look at how you dressed right now! And you were gone the whole day yesterday! That is enough evidence that you are having an affair!" 

James let go of Gloria, then he said, "I was gone the whole day yesterday? How can that be?"
