He walked through every inch of the place before Keme reached up to them with his arms crossed and a cold aura surrounding him. Keme just gave two looks at the place and started to walk out.
"Come on, he's not here." Keme waved at them both to follow
Tsuru looked over at him confused, Keme had a.s.sured her that, Keir would be here, "But you said he'd be here!"
Keme looked back at her, he paused and took a deep breath. He brushed a hand through his hair, "obviously he isn't, things don't always go as planned. Now come on I got the next possible spot he might be at."
Allon looked at him suspiciously, "You're working with him!" He declared sure of his words.
"I'm doing nothing of the sort!" Keme felt like being insulted, sure he wants in the best of terms with Tsuru at the moment but he would never betray her... not again at last.
They glared daggers at each other ready to put up a fight when Tsuru stood in between. She looked at Allon signaling him to calm down and then glared at Keme.
She gave him a warning glance, "You took longer then us getting here, where were you?"
Keme was surprised hearing it even from her, "Blowing off steam. What don't you trust me now?"
Tsuru bit her tongue, "You know that's not what I meant by it."
"Sure, sure. Now let's go, there's another destination we could find him." He rolled his eyes at her and continued his walk but stopping suddenly and pointing at Allon, "Why believe him? He tried to sell you off to me. How can you trust someone like that and not me?"
She didn't know how to respond, true to his words Allon did try to sell her off. But things changed, Allon was just confused, he didn't know any better, just that... yes, just that. Keme had been out of her life for centuries, who knows what he could really have planned.
Seeing her silence only made him feel hurt, Keme started to slowly walk forward"Why won't you say something?" He didn't wait for a reply again and went back to the car, waiting for the, to both arrive.
Tsuru shared a look with Allon before following behind him quietly. She knew he would again be in a bad mood but she didn't expect it to be this bad. He snapped at her carelessly and glared non stop. The car ride was insufferable and in two constant states. One was screaming at each other and being at one another's throats while the other was complete quiet. To the point where you could hear a pin drop until one of them would suddenly say the most casuals of things and a whole discussion would appear out of thin air.
"Um... Keme, where are we going now?" Tsuru hesitated many times before she asked this question.
"The Philippines, if he's not there then we will be having some problems. Now be quiet I'm driving."
Tsuru couldn't even get some basic information about the places she was going before being shut up by him. Allon by now kept quiet and leaned against the door with his eyes closed, not yet asleep but getting there.she would get uncomfortable in the back seat and look at him through the rearview mirror. His eyes glaring straight ahead not sparing her a glance.

Keme made a stop in the middle of nowhere and got out of the car. He stomped around and murmured under his breath. Allon had fallen asleep along the way knowing nothing of what was happening while Tsuru watched him take out his frustration on the world outside. Not yelling loud enough to be heard or stomping hard enough to break anything.
She stared at him through the window looking away every time his eyes pa.s.sed through her until he opened the door or the back seat. He looked at her in silence, he didn't say anything, he didn't make a ruckus or start an argument with her or even pull her to look his way.
"Why, Tsuru?" Keme's voice finally broke through the silence.
Tsuru didn't look his way keeping her eyes off him, "It would never work between us Keme."
"How can you know? We've never tried... I'm different from Keir because I actually care about Tsuru. I've never faked my feelings to you, I've never lied to you once. All I do is try to help you, what am I missing?" He gently tugged at her sleeve, "I can change, I can be different, I can take us back to our times just please don't leave me wondering what I'm missing."
her eyes s.h.i.+fted to look at his hand on her sleeve, wondering why he could be so persistent, and how he could be so devoted without good reason, not that love seemed to be a good reason in her eyes, "Let's make this clear, I don't want a relations.h.i.+p. I never even said you were missing something." Her cold tone was like a slap on the face. "Not now, nor ever again, nothing you do will change that Keme, I simply can't love you the way you want me to. I'm sorry alright, it's simply not possible for me."
Keme clamped his teeth shut holding back his growl. He closed the door and got back on his driver's seat glimpsing at Allon to see if he was awake. To his relief, the boy was still sound asleep and unaware of everything. He looked back at Tsuru from the mirror every few minutes until she caught her staring back at him.
"I'm sorry Keme..."
"You already said that... just..." he didn't know how to continue, feeling stuck in his words, "I... I'll be here Tsuru, I'll always be here, remember that. It's the only thing I ask..."
She felt her breath hitched feeling a knot on her throat and whispering, "Thank you, Keme."
