The idea of finally fixing her wrongdoings seemed still so astonis.h.i.+ng. Everything that had happened in total these past months had been one surprise after the next. Getting found was really something she didn't expect, after being buried so long. Getting found by a teenager and a genie to end up killing the girl and finding yet another genie's like their the plague was even less expected. But beyond them, the mere thought of having help on the revenge she'd wanted for hundreds of years was just unbelievable.
Before she noticed they were out the plane and in another car headed to Banaue a famous region of the Philippines where Keme had reasons to the belief, Keir could be. And just like the plane, the car ride seemed to start with the same silence.
"Did I say something wrong and you guys are just giving me the cold shoulder?" She asked from the backseat at the two who sat up front, Allon driving this time unlike the last.
Keme looked back at her with a puzzled look, "Did you just use a phrase?"
"That's not the point." She reminded.
Keme was still stuck in her phrase while Allon decided to answer for him,b "The answer is no. Just because we're being quiet doesn't mean we're angry or annoyed. You're not the only one stuck in the past."
"Oh..." she drew back on her seat, "I'm sorry." She automatically reminded herself of the accidents, and horrors she committed, one of which had actually affected, Allon in the day.
He focused back on the road having nothing to say. Keme took notice of the slightly icy glare Allon had and looked back at Tsuru's guilty one, "Banaue is a beautiful place, I'm sure you'll love it."
"What's so great about it?"
Keme began his barrage of reasons, "Everything, it's an amazing place, the view is breathtaking, people are great, it's simply fascinating. Just think about it Tsuru, picture yourself having fun and enjoying it."
She sighed listening to him, "Where in the world haven't you been yet?"
"Um..." he stopped to think, "That's actually a really good question," Keme tapped the door with his fingers rhythmically thinking, "I can't really think of anywhere I haven't been yet."
"Really? No, where?" She was surprised to hear that but it was to be expected, they had been around for a very long time, it was simply that since she hadn't been everywhere she expected it to be the same for everyone.

Tsuru clutched her lamp tightly against her chest and looked at Keir standing not too far away having his back face her, "Keir?
He half-turned to look at her a long scar covered half his face while smaller ones trickled at the corners, "Yeah?"
She floated closer to him and placed her lamp aside, "Make the wish..."
"You know I won't-"
"I'm not asking! I'm doing this for your own good, Keir, please! Just say it, I'll make it happen, there has to be a way around these rules." She was sobbing by now wanting him to just be done with it all so things could return to normal. So he would be back to his old self, no more scars adorning his body, no more worries of watching him fall ill.
He grabbed her hand gently rubbing her palm without looking up at her, "Would it make you happy?"
"Yes!"
Keir rested his hand on her cheek and pressed his thumb on her lips, stepping closer and closing the gap between them with a hug, "I wish to be immortal."
Her eyes closed, and her fingers snapped... the rest is an endless void of failed revenge...
"Tsuru, wake up. We're stopping to eat." Keme was shaking her back and forth until she opened her eyes and winced at the light s.h.i.+ning through.
She rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn before unbuckling her seatbelt, "Sure." She didn't take a good look at the place just getting out of the car, to begin walking behind Keme, "Hey... I got a question for you."
"Yeah." He stopped in place and looked at her from the corner of his eye, "Ask away."
"Do you think I'll hesitate?"
He turned to face her completely and questioned, "Hesitate?"
"Yes, Keme. Do you think I will?" She repeated.
"Will you?" He stared at her.
"I'm asking you, come on. Just tell me, do you think I've got all it takes?" Tsuru huffed, she looked him dead in the eyes.
Keme tucked his hands in his pocket and sighed, "Through all the years, I've seen people do things I've never even imagined they'd do... so I can't say what you can and can't do. n.o.body knows you better than yourself. Heck, I could spend an eternity with you, and you could still surprise me.
So, I won't answer your question Tsuru. Because I don't know the answer... it doesn't matter to me what you choose to do anyways. No, matter what you choose I'll stay by your side, I'll still follow you around even if you decide not to kill him. And if you do, I'll be here to wash the blood out of your hands."
