He latched his arm around her, pulling her with him as he walked, "If she said that then we'll go to Arabia, you and me. I know a few places that might trigger your memory, not than anywhere we used to possibly live is around but some tourist attractions have been kept."
She followed on feeling him letting all his weight down on her shoulder, "So doctor Rubio, she was your master." Tsuru couldn't help but state this shopping to get some kind of explanation about it.
"Yes, my lamp along with a few others belonged to her family treasure, heirlooms actually. She had accidentally released me along with the rest..." Keme paused and looked at Tsuru, "I was depressed, lost all motivation to live, I had given up. I was tired, but Mia got my spirit back up. She set me free, she gave me a motive, gave me abilities as a genie in this mortal body. I owe her..."
"So she's special." Tsuru determined, a scowl forming on her lips, "she means a lot to you then."
Keme laughed when seeing the scowl on her face, instantly determining her feelings of jealousy, "Exactly, you mean a lot to me too." He squeezed her shoulder, "So don't make that face."
She nearly pouted when he called her out, "I'm not making any face."
"There you go making another one!" He chuckled and teased her continuously. He squeezed her cheeks together, "Now you look like a fish."
"Stop that," Tsuru demanded but he pulled at them harder, making either side got red like a tomato.
Keme seemed so amused as he bothered her, "Why to stop when you look so funny." People were staring while he did this in the middle of the way where people were trying to pa.s.s.
Tsuru cheeks kept getting redder with each pa.s.sing second, the shame of knowing people where staring getting to her, "Let's get something to eat." She tried getting his mind of bothering her mad thinking about something else. Her eyes darted to the bag she hadn't noticed earlier when he got her hanging from his arm.
"What do you what to eat?" He didn't notice her eyes on the bag and continued taking her with him out the place, "Something that'll remind you of home, or do you want to risk trying something new?"
"Uh... let's risk something new." She spoke hesitantly but surely in the end, "What's in the bag?" She pointed at the hanging bag from his arm, concentrated on it until he answers.
He pushed that bag onto her, "Open it."
She was unsure about grabbing it at first but reluctantly took it when he kept pus.h.i.+ng it on to her, "Let's see..." opening it she was confused, a lamp laid inside, looking familiar, "Who does this belong to?"
"Yours now."
"Keme, who does this belong too?" Tsuru didn't seem the least bit happy about this, a frown on her face and her hand resting on her hip.
Keme gave her a serious look, "It's my lamp, but, I want you to keep it-" he sighed and reached to hug her, "-I get it, you don't feel the same, but we're friends... aren't we?" His eyes locked on hers waiting for a response. What he had given her was the most valuable thing he counts ever posses. Yet he didn't think twice over handing it to her, his smile reaching his eyes like sparkle but slowly dissipating, "You... don't want it..." he was about to take it back when she pulled away.

"I'll keep it." The words left her mouth without a thought going through her mind. Seeing the smile return to his eyes she could feel her own lips going up into a grin, "Let's go eat."
He nodded taking her hand and leading the way to the car, all the while having a smile from ear to ear. He couldn't help but feel hopeful that she just might one day return his feelings. But he knew that even if she didn't he wouldn't stop caring, wouldn't stop looking for the best for her. After all, even helping her through all the events he could feel that guilt of centuries prior to burning in his chest.
The undeniable feeling of regret being reminded to him every time he saw her. He questions how he could have left her on her own for so many centuries, years upon years, on her own, "You'll like it."
In minutes they were at the car and he was driving, peeking beside him at her every few minutes. As if to check she was still there.
Tsuru felt a b.u.mbling feeling in her chest, like someone pulling pieces of her soul away. She looked at Keme through most the ride, questioning if she had made the correct choice in keeping the lamp. A frown blooming in her face from the worry.
"What's wrong?" Keme asked before even she had realized her expression.
"I don't know." She said honestly, not even she could understand what she was feeling how could she explain it to him? The fiddled around with her s.h.i.+rt, "Where's Allon?"
Changing the topic she questioned making him stir up in his seat, "At home, he was coming but I asked him to stay, don't want you feeling crowded."
She raised an eyebrow at him and crossed her arms, something about what he said didn't sound right, "What did you do?"
"Nothing." He snickered quietly but she still heard him, "I swear."
Squinting her eyes at him and s.h.i.+fting on her seat so she could look directly at him, "What did you say then?"
