Prince was perhaps dazed from her smile and walked into the cabin without replying to the beautiful lady, although, he walked away looking indifferent his rapid heartbeat proved otherwise. 'Dammit,' he cursed silently under his breath. Seeing him walking into the cabin, the beautiful lady gave a clear laugh that traveled through the cabin like crystal bells.
She gave a smile to the flight attendant before making her way into the cabin too. She was probably too tired and fell right asleep as soon as she was seated. Even after she woke up, she busied herself with her work not bothering to glance at the other pa.s.senger in the cabin.
The Rolls-Royce that Alicia was in slowed to a stop at the traffic light turned red. She rolled down her window and looked at the view of the city, admiring it. It has just been six years and the city had changed a whole lot. She was annoyed when a limousine parked close to her car blocking her view from the sightseeing she was doing she frowned and turned away rolling up her window in annoyance.
'I probably have to do my sightseeing another day's she sighed. Her attention was turned to the files in her hands which she had collected from her a.s.sistant, once she was settled in the car.
Without her knowing, the window of the limousine had also rolled down. At the back seat, the man was staring intently at the beautiful lady inside her car. His gaze darkened when he saw her frown and rolled up her window in annoyance.
Three months later
"Ma'am?" "Yes, Rita what is it?" Alicia was looking at a report in her office when her a.s.sistant came in. She answered Rita without raising her head from the presentation. Rita was the only one who dared enter her office in the whole company after knocking without waiting for her reply and Alicia made it that way.
Anyone foolish enough to do the same will get fired on the spot, even without her knowing the purpose of the person's visit. This earned her the name 'The Fire Witch' from all the staff of the company. It was not like she was not aware of this but she was not concerned about how anyone viewed her.
Although, her ways were ruthless in the past three months since she came back n oh one could argue with her results. She had single-handedly elevated the company onto greater heights. Acquiring no less than 10 business enterprise along the way which was doing quite better than the way they were before she acquired them.
"We have been outside for the Wilmot point" Rita stated calmly, something she had learned from the boss in front of her. Alicia looked up slowly from the presentation she had been reviewing. "Who?" she asked dropping her gaze to the file in Rita's hands.
Rita pa.s.sed the file to her and bowed respectfully. Minutes later, after Alicia had skimmed through the file she laughed. Rita was scared of that laugh. The Wilmot point project was one of the biggest projects that only happened once in every five years, the company had spent a lot of money on this project and the CEO was just laughing it off.
Rita soon understood the reason behind her laugh though when Alicia commanded her in a cool and serious manner different from the person that was laughing just moments ago. "Set up a meeting with them" Rita nodded her head and excused herself from the room to set the meeting up with 'Dragon Totem international' the company that outbid them.
Luckily for her, she got a hold of the Chairman's secretary. After she got back the details of the meeting she reported back diligently to Alicia. Alicia acknowledged her and dismissed her.
