Above in the skies flying on the back of a red-feathered eagle were two teenagers. Guiding them ahead were five older individuals in different blends of purple and black that blew with the wind as they flew.

Below curious gazes could not be helped as all wondered who were these two to have warranted such attention.

" That guy is so strong for his age. Is he perhaps from a Lording country...?"

A girl who seemed about 18 could not help to inquire of her squad as she saw the youth with dreads.

However, she was not given a single reply as they too were lost in there thoughts. This was seemingly the norm as all teams that bore witness to the events at the wall couldn't help but whisper.

One squad, however, could be said to have some answers but their lips were tightly sealed as they heard the murmurs.

" We will continue our conversation behind closed doors..."

Malgrey spoke which broke the silence of the team who could not help but simply nod in response.

A slight distance before Hammerhead the elders flew while conversing.

" What is your a.s.sessment of this youth Zen?"

The question was posed by one of the female elders referred to as Martez.

" Well.., we were all given a detail description of the two after the sect had conducted a full investigation...

It seems the stories were indeed true about his personality. So that wasn't too much of a surprise. He seemingly is a rebel and won't easily be controlled.

What I found concerning is how fast he leapt in strength. He moved from a mortal to a cultivator. Now he is rivalling another cultivator at the 9th stage, within just a year.

This is truly unprecedented. While we witnessed the slight altercation from above between him and Kallen. You said it best...

He was holding back. If he didn't, Kallen would have beên killed in an instant. He is truly deserving of his t.i.tle, Abomination."

The others nodded at the brief a.s.sessment given by the Elder called Zen...

" The question now is how strong is he actually, and are we truly prepared for someone like him?"

Elder Mary then chimed in with her insights into the events.

" My thoughts are on the girl. We were told of her affinities yet I feel like this is not the same person related to the information. Have you noticed this Mary?"

The question was then posed by Elder Alders as he too laid his thoughts.

" Yes, now that you mentioned it, the thought had indeed crossed my mind."

An acknowledgement was given to Elder Alders words by Elder Mary as she too had come to the same conclusion...

"Why bickle like some small kids? What will be, will be. Let's let fate play out. Who knows maybe there will be surprises on the way..."

For the first time, Elder Mu had decided to utter a few words of his own as he yawned. Seemingly bored by the whole occasion...

" The sky could be falling and you wouldn't care one bit, would you? Anyway, let's hurry on.."

Elder zen shook his head as he glanced at the elder called Mu. It was quite apparent they all did not think much of this elder's att.i.tude.

His words from all appearance had no effect on Mu as he simply yawned while following. While those ahead conversed behind on the red-feathered eagle...

" Taf I quite envy those who are able to fly on their own. Before you even utter a word, no you never flew you brute.."

As May watched the elders flying before her she could not help but utter...

" Discrediting my slight escapades are we Miss? However, soon we too will be soaring through these skies on our own.

Speaking of which, Ever since my injury from the previous battle, I have taken it a bit slow cultivating. No longer can I hold back breaking through to the 9th stage. I might make an attempt later tonight..."

As Taf spoke he took the time to observe his dantian. Within four sets of qi continuously nourished themselves. As usual, both devil qi and spirit qi refused to share the same s.p.a.ce.

" Well, the injury did set you back a bit as your body tried to recover. I too feel like I'm on the verge of a breakthrough. Not as soon as you, however, but with a month I am certain."

May too observed her dantian. No longer was there only two sets of qi but three. The new member beast qi did something quite strange. It would refine the usually red qi turning it into some blue frosty qi.

A slight s.h.i.+ver went through her body as she observed...

" Guess my body is still adjusting huh?"

She thought before once again conversing with Taf.

" Everything alright..? Is it still changing your beast qi..?"

Taf asked as he noticed her slight absent-mindedness.

" Yeah.., but everything is fine.."

As they spoke they noticed the speed at which the elders flew decreasing significantly. Before them, they saw a grand building.

It can be said that its colour did quite contrast to the walls that greeted them previously. It was a white structure that towered in the air...

" Well, this is surprising. Guess they ran out of black paint..."

Taf chuckled a bit as he observed the difference in tone. The black walls were hostile, yet this white building seemed so welcoming. He, however, didn't care one way or the other.

Soon they were led through its doors. What greeted them inside was a s.p.a.cious hall. It walls carved with black wings seemingly of a flying beast with no body attached.

While observing they both thought it odd such a design was selected.

" The wings are said to be those a mythical creature known as the Baraseth. It is said to be a shadow beast and records of known visuals of these beasts are scarce and far between, spannings aeons.

Whenever one is seen only its wings are recorded and its body never viewed."

A slight history behind the wings was given by Elder Mary as she saw the two observing the carvings.

" Never heard of such a creature. Looks like some research needs to be done."

Taf thought to himself before being drawn from his thoughts by what appeared before him.

Both himself and May were guided into a chamber. The room was filled with chairs that were already occupied.

They were uniformed in a circle each seat further back being slightly higher than the one before. The only part that was contrary to all of this was its centre where there were two chairs.

He estimated there were at least 73 persons within the room at the moment.

From all appearance, the seats were filled by elders and the further one went back. Similar to their seating being slightly higher such was their status.

This Taf a.s.sumed as he tried to a.s.sess the qi levels, the further he went back the more overbearing it became.

There were those that garnered his intrigue even more among those of overbearing nature. These were six at the back whose qi felt totally different from the rest.

" Hmm, I'm guessing they have surpa.s.sed the realm of lords. "

He thought before deciding to pry no further, taking a seat.

As he sat he felt as though he and May were ants under a magnifying gla.s.s. As all the 73 in some form or the other gazed at them.

They both remained calm, however, awaiting the first word.

" Junior May Grace and Tafari. Are you aware of the reasoning behind your summons."

A female voice was heard coming from the back of the room...

" We heard there would be cake thus our prompt arrival. Seems we were somewhat misinformed. You can imagine our disappointment.

The reasoning now, we would have to apologize as we have no clue.."

Taf took it upon himself to converse with the voice. Though try as he may he couldn't see a face.

There were odd stares from some of the elders hearing Taf's response. However, knowing the person behind the voice they dared not utter a word.

" It seems you are interested in joining the Dark Abylis Sect. Usually, this would be an easy task if the requirement are met. However, I will not treat you as a child and be quite frank.

Enrolling you within our sect would be a huge risk undertaken by us. You see the position we are in.."

The voice stopped awaiting the response of Taf. He had to admit this straight forward approach by the sect he liked...

" I am quite aware of this. However, I am sure you have heard the term 'the higher the risk, the greater your return' ..."

A few words were then uttered by Taf. On a table next to his chair he saw some water. He then poured himself a cup as he eyed the figure in the back.

" How can we as a sect be certain this is not a ruse to bring harm to us? That mask being seemingly has a great relation to you.

Reports are that this individual flew headfirst into the Brave Man's Graveyard. I am sure you understand this is no small feat. This person without a doubt is quite powerful to dare such an act.

Why then would such a person entertain the idea of a G.o.d-blessed talent such as yourself joining a sect that is located within the Fu providence?

Don't feel we are looking down on our sect but we all know our limitations. With your talent the world is yours, meaning any sect would give their most precious treasure to obtain you..."

A string of questions and scenarios were then given by the voice. This can be said was expected by Taf. Wouldn't they be lacking in competence otherwise?

" Before journeying to your sect i was given a message by this person you identify as the mask being. Hopefully, this will ease your concerns somewhat.

He stated: Though you have turned to dust, still we have this brotherly bond that transcends time and s.p.a.ce. Like you did a thousand years ago with me, I give your sect the chance to rise and seek the heavens."

As Taf spoke his last words there was a momentary silence in the room...
