Taf hurriedly made his way over to Benzalo's corpse finding a s.p.a.ce ring.

Within he saw quite a treasure trove but this was not what he had his sights set on. At the moment only one thing interested him and it was to break free of the prism.

He hoped there might be some parchment or anything that would give him clues on how to rid the city of this nuisance.

" Just as I expected not a d.a.m.n thing."

He then discarded the s.p.a.ce ring inside his s.p.a.ce stone while uttering to May who had made her way to his side. She then responded,

"How then do we handle this?" To this Taf examined the triangular prism seeing if he could deduce any weak points.

"We do this the old fas.h.i.+on way by blasting it to bits."

Taf then boldly declared. Viewing the prism May also took note of any strengths or weaknesses she might see. Then a daring plan formed in her mind as she told Taf her thoughts,

"Judging from its structure the top seems to be the strongest point, while its sides are the weakest. If we were somehow to destroy its top, that makes the job somewhat easier."

Taf nodded his head as what May deduced did seem plausible.

"..and they said I only fell for you for your looks. When all along it was that brain of yours."

He teased which only made May pry into his face as she inquired,

"  Which 'They' do you speak of, do they perhaps have a name?" Seeing no response from Taf, she only chuckled before saying,

"You're such a liar. So we will act in unison then?"

Taf stood a.s.sessing the surroundings as the prism was but mere minutes from arriving at the city's center.

"Yes simultaneously, however after destroying its top, perhaps it might be best to blast the sides. This ensures we avoid them caving inwards atop the city's center."

His words made sense and May too agreed while nodding her head. Scouring the hurrying citizens, Taf finally saw the persons he had hope.

There he saw Ava, Malgrey, Malnor, Niesha, Selena, and the rest of squad Malgrey.

"Do any of you have any qi transference techniques?' He inquired of the lot who felt they were somewhat in a dream of sorts.

Coming out of their dazed state Ava was the first to respond,

" Yes, all squads do."

This was one technique the Dark Abylis Sect ensured all squad had in their possession.

Seeing that squads might find themselves in precarious situations the value of such a technique can never be overestimated.

"Great, transfer all the qi you can to May."

Taf knew at this moment May was truly depleted and far worse than he was. To be honest he was startled she could still stand. Knowing her personality she would always put on a brave face but he could tell.

There was no objection from May as she knew lives were at stake and the more a.s.sistance available the better.

Without any time to waste they all hurriedly made their way over to May. Placing their hands to her back as a cloak of qi engulfed her body.

She a.s.sessed her dantian as the foreign qi entered, it was like a spring within a desert seeing rain clouds beginning to form above.

Swiftly it gobbled up as much as it could within quick time. In seconds she was half fueled and ready to go.

When three-quarters of her full strength had been reached, all members of the Dark Abylis Sect then lifted their hands as their qi now was now depleted.

"Ready?"

Taf asked with a smile seeing they had completed. He then crushed a demon core he previously had in his possession. In response, May's qi ignited as she gave him a wink.

Addressing the members of the Dark Abylis Sect Taf then ordered,

" With haste evacuate this area ensuring all persons are within buildings protected from falling debris." Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.

Not asking why they all obeyed Taf's orders dispersing as quickly as possible.

Following his commands, to the letter, the city's population within the high-risk areas moved in droves out of harm's way.

Giving them time to evacuate he slowly floated in the air with the black lightning twisting around his body.

To his side was May whose eyes were crystal blue with her silver hair cascading down. Noting the last of persons had been moved, Taf then shot up higher into the skies.

All onlookers pried from the windows of opened buildings hoping beyond hope that these two lords would once more be their saviors.

Soon Taf summoned one Warhammer to his hands as black lightning twisted around his body. Aiming downwards to the earth.

BOOM! He dove with blasting speed lifting the hammer as he called forth,

?Gravity Smash?

CRACK! CRACK! BOOM!

Hundreds of cracks were spread far and wide as the force of the hammer caused the ground to shake similar to an earthquake.

Anyone observing the abandoned side of the city would note it was nothing but rubble, simply a wasteland.

Soon ma.s.sive chunks of land started hovering from the broken earth within the air. They were then guided by Taf's lifted hand as he propelled them before him.

The City Lord could only silently weep as he saw the destruction Taf caused to his city. Soon Taf's body and cheeks slowly expanded as he inhaled before calling out,

?Elemental art ( Fire) Breath of life?

Puuuuuff!!

He forcefully exhaled setting the ma.s.sive boulders ablaze knowing he had to destroy the prism by any means.

This was a new technique he thought of after seeing the combination used by Benzalo with the twin cobras, but now he added gravity. This technique he now called,

?Gravity - Meteorite Strike?

The huge chunks of molted earth soared through the skies as they then blasted against the top of the prism.

Boom!

Slight cracks could be seen spreading yet they were not enough for the prism's sides to collapse...

?Elemental Art (Water) World of Ice?

Freezing snow began twisting around May's body as large tree trunk sized spikes formed. She then shot them at the target now filled with cracks.

Seeing he could be of some help, Taf then motioned with his hands which lessened the gravity and increased the speed at which the spikes collided.

CRACK! CRACK!

Like spider webs, the cracks started to spread far and wide after the combination of both Taf and May.

"Not enough as expected, don't worry there is more,"  Taf uttered before calling forth,

?Devouring - Displacement?

Soon twisted molten lava was seen forming before his left hand after which it was blasted at the prism. This was Benzalo's finis.h.i.+ng move which Taf stole in his final minutes with his demon inherent art.

BOOM! CLATTER! CLATTER!

Unable to take the constant onslaught the prism final gave way shattering as its sides collapse. This, however, was the most dangerous period.

Glancing at each other they both knew their next move had to be perfection. May then called forth,

?Elemental Art (Wind) Spiraling Tornado?

Soon on her right arm, the air started to violently twist as a small tornado formed.  She then lifted the left uttering,

?Elemental Art (water) Freezing cyclone?

Similar to the right arm an element twisted in May's left palm only this time it was water transformed into snow. Not to be left out Taf too called forth on two arts of his own,

?Elemental Art (Darkness) Beam?

Black energy started to form on his left arm while he lifted his right and uttered,

?Black Lightning?

In his hand static energy built as bolts of black lighting formed into a ball. Then he nodded to May before the two simultaneously let loose.

Boom!

All held their breath as they saw the prior ominous red glowing prism code-named ash being destroyed. What remained was either frozen shatterings while the rest was blown to bits by lightning, wind and darkness attacks.

Recognizing they both were successful Taf and May then took a sigh of relief. Looking at his dantian, Taf knew if it needed just a little bit more he would have been out of answers.

Noticing the black lightning beginning to fade Taf along with May then hastily made their way to the ground. He wasn't truly a lord realm so no black lightning meant, well no flight.

Wouldn't it be anticlimactic defeating two lord realms and a city destroyer to then be killed by a fall?

??????

All hurried outside the buildings they hid. There was something great about the feeling of the wind on one's face. Sometimes it's odd, the most minuscule of things that we took for granted, can then be our greatest pleasure.

Some were so dumbfounded they found themselves slumped down in the ash in tears. Today there were more than a few who had lost someone they cared for.

This same ash might be their dare departed remains, Yet they were thankful to have survived nonetheless.

All looked at the two who allowed them the tiniest glimmer of hope before making it into a reality.

There Taf sat in the lotus stance within the ash as a core filled with qi was summoned to his hand. Though he was cultivating he felt the gazes of millions.

"Told you one day this face of mine would bring sure fame. No one should be this handsome that he has millions speechless."

He joked to May who was by his side. She smiled while replying,

"I think you have it all wrong, this beauty is the one they all are gazing at. You're just getting the leftovers."

To this could Taf only laugh as May flashed her hair.

Soon the squad made their way over. What should they say? How do they address these two? Should they kneel in reverence which is the protocol within the sect for all when an elder is present?

These were questions that bombarded each and every one of their minds as they became a bit hesitant.

"You all did your roles perfectly. Well, our work was a bit easier because of it."

Taf nonchalantly uttered sensing their presence. Hearing Taf's reply there was some relief, it was as though in a sense he didn't care about status.

"I'm sorry Niesha that I ditched you the way I did. See someone needed a bit of saving. I won't say his name, you see he has a slight ego. Wouldn't want to hurt it."

May grinned as she squinted at Niesha with the broad sword on her back. To this Taf could only dryly cough before shamelessly in defense of himself uttering,

"I was just setting up the climax, didn't want to defeat the two that easily. I'm a showman after all."

This only bolstered May's laughter as she replied, " Sure you did."

Seeing the two's interaction they all found it odd that after defeating two lord realms they both had the time to joke. Guess that's what made them different from others with similar strengths.

While all eyes were on both May and Taf something peculiar was happening to the corpse of Marco and Benzalo. On their wrist and palm, a purple mark started to glow...
