The Gods' Decree 204 Cultivation Therapy

The Dark Abylis was a sect that stressed one thing. This was hard work would yield unprecedented benefits. Yet they also underlined the need for proper social interaction as a means of cultivation therapy.

When solely focusing on cultivating it can lead to adverse effects mentally. breakthroughs that were once inevitable are then turned into bottlenecks hampering growth.

Thus throughout the sect, there are areas whose sole purpose is for encouraging social interactions of sect disciples.

Of course, these services were available to those with an adequate amount of qi stone which was usually those of two-star and above squads.

In one such location, a group of nine could be seen. Of the group, three were female and six males. They were seating around a large circular table with cus.h.i.+oned seating. This was one of the more extravagant spots within the venue.

Surrounding them, they could hear the shocking news of the day which created a huge uproar throughout the sect.

Apparently, Sir Mouse has struck again, this time however his feat was somewhat G.o.dly smiting Doan, ranked ninety-seventh(97th) in the top hundred rankings.

"Even when I try to keep a low profile there is always some fuss." Taf lamented as he heard the boisterous conversations.

Hearing his thoughts on the matter his compatriots could only roll their eyes. How exactly was literally bleeding someone dry a means to create a low profile.

Still, someone was blinded to Taf's speaking as his eyes were unblinking staring at a table seating four lovely ladies. It was Lovren who seemed smitten for some odd reason.

Malgrey then slapped him in the head which jolted him back to reality.

"The waitress asked what will you have. You're currently holding up proceedings."

He scolded as Lovren looked up to see a young waitress giggling after seeing what had unfolded,

"Straight orange nectar beer with a pinch of spirit gra.s.s." He hurriedly ordered a drink being red face as he saw both Selena and Niesha holding in their laughter. Taking note of what had unfolded Taf s.h.i.+fted himself over closer to Lovren.

"Surely you're not just going to sit there?"

He uttered in hushed tones though all in the group could hear. From what Lovren knew of Taf nothing good comes from his involvement so he hurriedly dismissed his previous 'faux pas',

"It's nothing. Let's have a drink pal, it's not often that you treat so if I were not to take advantage I wouldn't be Lovren."

He awkwardly laughed hoping for Luke to join in but to no avail. Still, Taf persisted looking at the four wondering which had caught the eyes of this friend of his.

All had quite remarkable qualities as they daintily smiled and laughed. With even this simple interaction drawing stares from their opposite s.e.x. Still, any one of them could catch this guy's eyes.

Then Taf heard Niesha's voice, "The brunette with green eyes. Her name is Sheila and this idiot drools over her every time we visit this place. Why did you think he chooses this location?"

With her words, Niesha garnered a hateful stare from Lovren but only poked her tongue out in response.

"Oh, I see. Not bad at all by boy lovren. " Taf nodded his head while appraising the fellow's love interest.

She looked about nineteen and quite attractive. No wonder this fellow was drooling as he did. Still, Taf continued even with Lovren not uttering a word in response, 

Lovren I didn't think you were the shy type." His words caused all the others to chuckle as they looked at the embarra.s.sed Lovren. Even Ava chimed in,

"I'll bet anyone at this table 1000 lqs this fellow's legs would buckle merely going withing one foot of her table."

Her words garnered even more interest from the table. These were interesting stakes indeed earning 1000 lqs was truly enticing.

Malnor too joined in with his thoughts while counter betting "I raise you 2500 lqs, if he were to go to that table his first words will be consecutive stammerings of 'I.., I..,I... We would be here all night before the poor fellow lets out his first words.'

This only led to a large outburst of laughter even Cameron spat out his drink subconsciously. Lovren could only sit awkwardly daring not to let his eyes linger at the table once more.

"I'll not let you teased my small comrade and as his captain, I will take the mantle of offering support. I will bet in his favor doubling both your offers.

Not only will he place himself amongst their table but he will also speak fluently." As Malgrey spoke he smiled to Lovren but his eyes spoke differently.

Lovren could only subconsciously gulped when he thought of the implication of having his captain lose such a large sum.

"I support my sisters bet with an increase of three thousand, therefore our figure is now set at 7000 lqs" Selena interjected throwing a poach of the table.

Plop!

Neisha too followed suit throwing a pouch of her own. Eying down Selena as a means to show she was not intimidated by the sum.

"You're not the only one that can offer support, Malgrey i will also pool my resources in your aid." 

Hehe!

"Interesting. Things have gotten serious I am feeling wealthy. Thus I will go against the whole table allowing everyone to pool together their resources to earn the grand total of one hundred thousand.

This is your if you win but forgoing thirty thousand if you lose." With Taf's words, the whole table became quiet.

This is quite the large, not many ninth stage cultivator were fortunate to be wealthy as Drax, who had two million lqs in his possession.

Though in terms of strength he was quite weak the man knew how to acc.u.mulate wealth. One hundred thousand qi stones was basically a year's salary for those of the Sect.

If all ninth stages were to fork over five thousand in order to make twenty thousand it would not be that detrimental. These were odd that was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"Before we accept what action are you betting with your 100k," Ava asked suspiciously,

"Not only will he have words with miss s.h.i.+ela. I can guarantee she will personally come over to the table asking my pal out." Taf uttered with total confidence in Lovren for some reason.

The whole table looked at him as a madman. Finally, he had a misstep and at the cost of 100k in qi stone. Even lovren was shocked by Taf's words. When did he garner such confidence in him?

's.h.i.+t I am broke as h.e.l.l I want in on this bet. Why couldn't I bet against myself?' Lovren cursed in his mind.

Still, he was truly befuddled as to why when he gazed at Taf within his eyes it was as though all was a certainty.
