"I can. I have to" An incredibly ba.s.s voice resounded and made tremble the air. The little girl laughed.
"How will you do that?"
"It's really simple" Jorga's head suddenly emerged from the blue mist. The girl closed her mouth at the size of that serpent. A gray skin which looked like cracked stone, his eyes were glowing with a blue and green hue.
"I will seal you, as Arima did just now" He glanced downward as he told. The girl followed his eyes and noticed that Fafnir had indeed been sealed.
"I can't be sealed" She retorted with a cold voice.
"Certainly not," Jorga paused "With the cla.s.sic methods at least" He added and disappeared inside the mist once again.
The little girl was starting to feel apprehensive then she heard a powerful howl. The low-pitched voice spread everywhere and shook everyone's ears.
Arima frowned and smiled "I'm good now" He said to Layla and her magic stopped supporting him. He cracked his neck and limbs a bit then breathed out. His eyes locked on the blue sphere created by the Fifth Destruction Art.
His sigil glowed and the sphere immediately obeyed him although it was Layla's magic. Arima showed the path with his eyes and the sphere was immediately propelled upward at incredible speed.
"[I've traveled far and wide]"
"[I saw the worlds, the planes, the existence]"
Jorga's voice resounded everywhere one more time. Easily reaching Arima's position.
"[I opened my mouth many times]"
"[I can't slay]"
"[But who said I can't steal?]"
At those words, the little girl made a strange face and Arima smirked. At the same time, the s.p.a.ce sphere reached the Eye of Discord and exploded there to free the Nibelungen gold. The little girl's eyes widened and she was even about to grab the piece of gold but she suddenly realized she couldn't move and even the cursed gold was completely frozen in place.
"[I've heard many stories]"
"[But I also observed them from up close]"
"[Let me show you what I gathered]"
"[Jotunheim]"
Jorga chanted and he opened his mouth inside the blue mist. The moment he did that, everything started to be aspired. His own mist wasn't an exception and was going straight inside his stomach. The force was so strong that even some planets and stars around were moving slightly while every asteroid was going inside really quickly.
The little girl's eyes narrowed as the weapon she was sitting on tried to go against the attraction. On the other hand, the cursed gold couldn't do anything as it disappeared inside Jorga's stomach. The latter's body was slowly being revealed since the mist was going away.
Even Arima's eyes widened when he saw it. He couldn't even see the end of it while the head alone was bigger than Fafnir at his final form.
The projection of the ultimate weapon also s.h.i.+vered when she saw that. It was the thought of being consumed by a beast so big that scared her. She looked down and tried to activate the Eye of Discord earlier, but she wasn't even capable of communicating with it.
Jorga howled again and it was mixed with a faint hiss. The girl immediately halted any movement as if she blanked out and was sucked inside along with the box with even more speed than the Nibelungen gold.
When it was over, Jorga closed his mouth and released the mist again through his mouth and nostrils. His colossal body then moved and slowly descended.
Arima was resting on a nearby planet because s.p.a.ce wasn't the ideal choice to recover since there weren't even one of the four elements and really small quant.i.ties of mana could be filtered.
The black dragon looked up from the top of his mountain and Layla jumped on his shoulder. The entire sky was replaced by azure clouds and a giant head went through them to look down.
Arima smiled wryly. It really felt like a G.o.d was looking down on them "…How do I call you now?"
"I'm Jormungand. But my name is still Jorga" The serpent answered with a much lighter voice than before.
Arima nodded "Then Jorga, I'm sorry you had to do this"
"You don't have to. If you had let Fafnir go, many would have died by his hands. And becoming the World Serpent was something that would've happened to me one day or another. It just means that it was today" Jorga explained and sighed. A wind strong enough to blow away a town descended on Arima but for him and Layla, it was just a breeze.
"I have to go now" The serpent added "I'm now bound to be an overseer. I have many worlds to look after" He said and stared at Arima "Lastly, I'm sure you have noticed the sky-blue veins on your body"
He uttered and Arima looked down at the cyan cracks that were spreading like a net on his body with his heart as the source "That's the key to stabilize your body. Now, I'm sure you know how to finalize your transformation into the Eternal Dragon" Jorga declared. Arima snickered and nodded.
"Well then, Arimane, Layla, Night, and Karma, farewell" The World Serpent said and returned inside the blue clouds "Call me when you need it. I'm everywhere after all" That was his last message before the clouds returned to normal and the blue mist disappeared along with his whole body.
Arima sighed and Karma appeared on his left shoulder "Where are we supposed to go now?" She asked curiously.
"You will go back there after all?" Layla abruptly followed and Arima closed his eyes.
"{There's not really another choice, I think}" Night's voice echoed in everyone's head.
"I know! Stop speculating and being so ominous about it…" Arima said as he stood up with an annoyed expression and everyone chuckled "Deva" He called just after and the sky dragon-like beast instantly arrived beside him.
Arima didn't know at all where Deva was hiding during the entire period but her eyes looked like she was sleeping just before she was called. Arima smiled wryly at how laid-back this creature was. It seemed like she was unaffected by everything and that nothing could ever scare her.
"Let's go" Arima said as he jumped on her back "Back home" He muttered and Deva's powerful voice resounded as a white ring of light formed in front of her. She flapped her two pairs of white wings and disappeared with Arima's group on her back.

In another plane, very far from any civilization. The Lonely King was sleeping on his cold throne, in the middle of an empty castle. His long silver hair fluttered with the breeze and his crimson eyes opened.
He inhaled then stood up. He stepped on the cold and blue granite then released his aura to warm up. When he did so, the entire castle was blown away like paper. The stone was thrown miles away and the bricks that were above him went straight into orbit.
"Jormungand is back. The Moment, The Nibelungen gold, and Fafnir have been sealed" He muttered and took a step forward. He reappeared on another planet and continued slowly. With each step, he would reappear on another planet "Interesting"
"He's both a Silver Emperor and a Death Hunter. An irregular one at that. A man who was born with a demonic theory but lived with the love and hate of humans. 'Kind Demon', huh?" He mumbled while walking. He had already traveled through a hundred different planets or so already.
He then stopped at one particular planet. One with a lot of water on its surface and a really advanced civilization. The Lonely King observed the buildings and the skysc.r.a.pers then started walking with everyone in the lively and clean streets.
The red robe he was wearing just before was gone and he was now wearing simple dark blue pants and a red s.h.i.+rt with a crown drawn on it. He also had a black and thin jacket over it. He was now just a modern man but his stunning appearance attracted attention.
Everyone around would gawk at him shocked. Both men and women. They were not jealous, captivated or anything. It felt they were looking at someone untouchable. While looking at him, the only thing they were wondering about was how someone could be so perfect.
"Indeed," Meanwhile, the man in question continued his monologue "An individual worthy to become a Plane Guardian"
