"Well, that could be fun" Arima answered. Lanya who was curious, took the doc.u.ment Arima just put down and started reading it. The more she did, the brighter her expression became.
"Please do it!" She stood up and said to Arima with obvious enthusiasm. Lilis was surprised and took the folder from Lanya's hands and read it quickly, Night also jumped on her shoulder to read it. After that, Lilis's expression wore a huge smile while Night jumped on Arima's shoulder.
"Why not?" He just said and waved his paw. Arima glanced at him and sighed and stared at the guild master "Sure, I'll do it" He said
The master beamed with a big smile "Thank you, I'll hope this will be a good experience for you" He said and gave Arima a letter "Bring this to 'FDA' (Future's Dream Academy) in five days"
Arima took the letter and stored it, he then stood up "Ok, I'll do it. But give me some dungeons to clear too, I would be bored otherwise" He said and the master wryly smiled. He walked toward a small closet and opened it, he took out to maps and gave them to Arima "These are the hardest dungeons for now, I am supposed to send an SSS and a SS at those two locations in a week, but if you can finish it, there won't be any problem for you to attack it" He explained
"Thanks" Arima smiled, he waved the maps and made them disappear. He signaled Lanya and Lilis and left the room with them.
Back in the streets, Arima's group walked out of the guild, the sun was already setting down.
"I'm already eager to be five days later" Lilis said and Lanya wore a happy smile. Arima looked at them and shrugged. He then concentrated on city's map he had made, he looked for the nearest Inn and directly headed there.
"By the way, Lilis" While they were walking, Arima suddenly asked.
"What it is?" She responded "Do you have another question?" She asked with a smile.
"Who is the owner of that golden light?" Arima asked, unfazed.
"Ah, you realized after all" Lilis haplessly said
"Of course, that light wasn't something a human created, it was clearly something at least a G.o.d could do" Arima said "More importantly, I already stumbled upon the same light before" He added
"You're right, you clashed with it in your fight with the Emperor" Lilis said "Even though you overpowered it with darkness magic" She laughed and commented "Well, basically, he's a Heaven G.o.d, he's not that strong among us, but he is still powerful. He has absolute dominance over Light and Fire. His name is Tiatus, he is a well-known G.o.d for having a huge number of believers on the lower worlds" She told to Arima "Now that I think about it, why did the bell ring for you? It shouldn't be Tiatus directly aiming at you, he doesn't have time to do this kind of prank" She asked
"I think it's my death aura that alerted it" Arima said "There were still some remnants from last time that I didn't get rid of, so maybe it took me for a real undead and then tried to kill me"
"I see" Lilis nodded. While they were talking, they reached an Inn. Arima rented two rooms, one for him and Night and another for Lanya and Lilis.
"You can sleep with us if you want" Lanya tilted her head and said almost too much innocently.
Arima looked blankly at her "No" He said simply and entered his room with Night. Lilis shrugged and entered in the other room with Lanya.
When Arima entered his room, he directly sat down on the bed and used his dimensional magic. When he was on the other side, he started working one more time on his eight elements, the eight colors were merging together, sometimes it would be rainbow, it could be totally white or black, and also transparent. All kinds of results but, Arima never succeeded.
Night was silently watching and then looked around the room they were in, of course, in the other dimension. And he sighed internally, Arima had actually disrupted time when he created a path to this dimension.
Now, an hour pa.s.sed here only amounted to a minute in the original dimension, meaning an hour in the normal world amounted to two days and a half in the dimensional world. Although it took more mana, it also was a lot more efficient.
Night slightly shook his head, he left the Inn and started training outside, he could destroy anything he wanted since it wasn't the real world.

The next day, Lanya and Lilis woke up and left their room to take their breakfast. Arima only got out an hour later.
He had spent all the night in the other side, basically, he just lived twenty days in the span of a night. But he didn't look tired or any different compared to how he was before going in his room.
When Lilis saw Arima, her expression changed though "You, you're in the second sky already" She said with disbelief "How did you break through in one night? No, even before that, I should have been able to feel it" She continued to mumble alone.
Arima ignored her and asked for some milk from the staff of the Inn, he then took out a cake and started eating with Lanya. Night also began to eat a plate of food; the biggest advantage of this body was the fact that he didn't need to eat that much to be full.
"Wait, I felt some time magic, but I thought it was just you playing around" She suddenly envisaged something. She turned wide eyed toward Night who was idly eating "Night, when was the last time you saw me?" She asked
Night looked at her and tilted his head "Mh, around twenty days ago maybe?" He answered and Lanya spat out some water. While Lilis turned in shock toward Arima.
"You actually created a s.p.a.ce and time independent dimension" She muttered "Even for a Life Hunter, there's limits…" She realized she was losing it so she just sat down and started eating while looking at the sky, ah no, the roof.
"Well, I was actually trying to do something else, the breakthrough was just a bonus" Arima finally said
Lilis smiled wryly "If you spent twenty days on something then that means it's already mastered" She said.
"No, actually, I still can't do it" Arima said with a helpless expression.
This time, Lilis dropped her fork and Lanya's eyes widened to the maximum "Are you okay? Are you sick or something? Or did Tiatus's light infect you?" Lilis said in a rude way.
Arima frowned "What are you saying?"
Lilis fell silent "…Are you actually working on something harder than Time magic?" She asked
"Yeah, I'm sure it's at least a hundred times harder" Arima responded casually.
"I can't believe it!" Lilis stood up and exclaimed in a serious tone "Time magic is the hardest magic theory that has ever existed, something that is harder than that, it would be something that even G.o.ds don't know about" She said
"Oh" Arima smirked "Then you will know once I accomplish it" He retorted nonchalantly and put a lollipop in his mouth "If I can have something that Heaven G.o.ds don't, then it'll be one of my biggest advantages" He uttered and stood up. Night already had finished his meal and was back on his shoulder.
And while Lanya was shocked after hearing that Arima didn't succeed to do something, when she learned it was something that even Lilis didn't know about, she sighed in relief. Her last thought was: "(It's normal then)"
Lilis fell speechless and just finished her meal quickly, pouting, before Arima teleported them away.
*****************************************
The place they reappeared in was the middle of a canyon, totally surrounded by escarpments.
"What the h.e.l.l is this?" Lilis complained already, it was obvious that she was infuriated about what happened before.
"A dungeon location apparently" Arima said totally unaffected by Lilis's mood "If I'm not wrong, it should be around here" Arima said and started walking, following the direction the gorge had defined.
Lanya and Lilis silently followed him, the latter was pouting and the former seemed to be curious about what was ahead.
Five minutes later, they arrived at the dead end of the canyon. But at the same place, a large entrance to an underground cave.
"Well, it's not hard to realize where the dungeon is" Arima said sarcastically and headed to the entrance.
Lilis breathed out and seemed to be calm now, she followed Lanya who enthusiastically went in with Arima.
When Arima took a step inside the cave, the sound echoed in the whole place. The walls of the cave seemed to made of a strange and polished gray stone. Arima walked in there for a moment before reaching a staircase that went even more underground.
Arima didn't hesitate, his sigil glowed a bit and an orb of Light appeared, hovering around him and lighting the surroundings. And so, he started going downstairs. Lanya and Lilis followed, with blooming interest about this place.
When they took the last step, they arrived in a huge room, with perfect dimensions, a totally square form, the whole room was maybe a million cubic meters.
At that moment, some squeaks resounded in the room. Arima created a stronger light and totally illuminated the room. The room they were had entrances to many tunnels, and from them were coming out an incalculable number of small monsters with green skin, sharp teeth and really grotesque appearances. Simply said, they were goblins.
Arima looked at the afflux of monsters with bored eyes. His eyes flashed and locked on every goblin, the supposed incalculable number had just been counted by him. He then snapped his fingers and every goblin coming at him stopped on their tracks before cras.h.i.+ng and colliding on each other. After the mess they created. They all had their heads separated from their necks.
Just like that, Arima killed thousands of goblins "They're weak, but I'll still take it" Arima said and retrieved the life force of these goblins with his magic circle.
He then burned every corpse like nothing happened, he chose a tunnel to go in, then instantly took it. Lanya followed him without questions while Lilis sighed one more time.
After that, nothing really interesting happened, the strongest monsters they could find were around the eighth and ninth level. Each time Arima met one, he took it to the other dimension and sent Lanya and Night with them for their training.
Then at some point, they arrived in a really big chamber that only had one monster waiting there. It was huge humanoid c.o.c.kroach. The sounds he made were absolutely disgusting and it really made Arima annoyed "[Accelerans](Accelerando)" Arima took a step forward and the noise disappeared and everyone froze.
Arima slowly walked toward the monster. At the same time, he took out Karma and released the three seals in one go.
"[Aeterna]" When he was just in front of the immobile c.o.c.kroach, Arima conjured a huge amount of lightning on his sword and then slashed at the monster with it. The wave produced by Karma directly exploded and fragilized the monster's defense, the black explosion spread into the whole room, the earth began to shake and the wall were fissuring. After that, Karma easily cut through the monster's neck and killed it and Arima suppressed the rest of his attack's energy.
The monster's head fell on the ground and the flow of time returned to how it was supposed to be. Only Lilis who had enough strength to resist the time lock, perfectly witnessed the death of tenth level monster in less than a second, literally.
"That was a lot easier than I though it would be" Arima said with a bit of disappointment.
Lilis laughed "You're at the second sky of the earthen realm and you can use Time magic, what did you expect?" She said
Arima shrugged and prepared to teleport the group away. Even Lanya and Night didn't understand a thing as to how a tenth level monster died just like that. Because Arima only gathered time around him, even Night was left in confusion.
Arima didn't wait for them to recover their spirits and teleported them to the other dungeon they had been given by the guild master. But that one was even easier, and Arima finished it in twenty minutes, without breaking a sweat.
Ultimately, Arima transferred his group to the Center City. He had decided to spend the four remaining days there, before he had to begin his temporary job as an instructor at the FDA.
