The private parties of Ping City were always extravagant.

Regardless of how terrible the economy was according to Ping City's local newspaper reports, the only deviations at these gatherings were the different faces among the ever changing crowds, the locations of the parties, the areas the live bands were situated, and the types of purses women carried around.

Luo Yu was a common visitor of such places. He wore a form fitting steel grey three-piece suit and had a beautiful female companion on his arm as he smoothly chatted with the head officer of Ping City's city hall.

"——Mr. Luo!"

A sudden shout cut through the air, causing several guests to look in the direction of the door.

Hearing this, Luo Yu turned his head; it was his personal a.s.sistant, Lu Yi. Lu Yi's face was pale and his forehead sweaty as he jogged over. Behind him, two bodyguards followed.

The person who shouldn't have shown up at tonight's party most of all was Lu Yi.

Luo Yu's eyebrows slightly furrowed. He lifted an arm to check his watch, then politely excused himself from his conversation with the man across and hurriedly walked over to Lu Yi.

Lu Yi should've been completing a transaction for him.

There was a batch of firearms scheduled to arrive at the small cargo pier of Li Island north of Ping City. Lu Yi was the one Luo Yu had a.s.signed to receive it.

"Mr. Luo." Large beads of cold sweat dripped down Lu Yi's forehead, his voice shaking uncontrollably. Lu Yi was an extremely calm person, the only reason he would be so frightened was if something had happened to that s.h.i.+pment of cargo.

Luo Yu guided him behind a relatively hidden Roman pillar and gestured for him to wipe his sweat before speaking.

"Our cargo s.h.i.+p," Lu Yi swallowed, "was empty."

He handed his phone to Luo Yu; on it were some pictures he had taken.

The setting in the pictures was dirty and messy. The s.h.i.+p's crew had been tied up and thrown in the storage area, tape over their mouths and backs leaned against a container. The official load on this s.h.i.+p were cotton and children's toys, but in the lining of five cargo containers were a s.h.i.+pment of Barrett M82A1 sniper rifles and over ten thousand Browning automatic rifle bullets.

Luo Yu was only the middleman for this haul of firearms. He had reached an agreement with a Middle Eastern buyer. The M82A1 rifles and their bullets would only need to stay in Ping City for 10 hours before being transported to the buyer's warehouse. Luo Yu would then receive a hefty payment of eight figures.

For Luo Yu, this wasn't considered a big transaction, which was why he had sent Lu Yi to receive the s.h.i.+pment. But if he couldn't complete his end of the business deal, then he would have a bigger problem on his hands.

After the photos was a short video, taken when Lu Yi accidentally switched from photo to film mode. The video was filled with shaky shots of the s.h.i.+p crews' faces. Lu Yi had someone tear the tape off a crewman's mouth, but upon regaining freedom, the other only knew to scream as loud as he could for help.

Lu Yi held the phone in one hand and an extra bright flashlight in the other. He s.h.i.+fted the lens from the man's face to the rusted wall of the boat, only to see a piece of A4 paper crookedly nailed into a panel. On it, typed in large, bolded STSong font, was a single character: Ruan.

"Ruan Zheng."

Luo Yu lightly spat out a name. Lu Yi's head lowered even further.

He pondered for a few seconds, then deleted the video and pictures. He strolled back to the place still filled with laughter and song, and told his female companion a bit of disappointing news: he had things to do, so would be leaving first. He then asked his female companion if she would like to leave with him, or if she would be staying.

The female companion looked at Luo Yu's unpleasant expression and said, "I- I'll leave by myself."
Luo Yu nodded at her then left with Lu Yi. His car was already waiting outside the hotel.

The man standing by the door was Luo Yu's true right-hand man, Xing Licheng. Xing Licheng saw Luo Yu walking over and silently opened the car door for him. Luo Yu slightly bent over, lifted his leg, and stepped in.

Ping City was the hub connecting the land and sea; its transportation by sea, land, and air were all extremely advanced. It also owned the best maritime channels leading to all other large continents.
On the surface, this city had economic prosperity, good security, and citizens who enjoyed pleasant and peaceful lives. Underneath the calm, though, was turmoil.

Huan An Technology——Luo Yu, Zhen Ting Investment——Ruan Zheng. There was also He Yonggui, leader of the West Clan, an old group that had a long history of prestige. These were the three people in charge of Ping City. They were always on the brink of conflict, yet always managed to hold themselves back just in time. This resulted in the current environment where the small shrimp struggled to survive in peace under the three big players' reign. Ruan Zheng and Luo Yu didn't get along, so He Yonggui spent all his time coming up with ways to profit from their feud, but to no avail. Ever since the news that Luo Yu was up to something got out, the fragile relations.h.i.+p between the three became even more unstable. It felt like something big was brewing on the horizon, about to make landfall.

He Yonggui was an old-timer. He had spent decades surviving in Ping City, starting from an average lackey and rising through the ranks to become the leader of the West Clan. Thus, he was extremely careful. Ruan Zheng was new blood. n.o.body knew where he had come from, and n.o.body knew what he truly looked like. One day, everyone suddenly knew that Zhen Ting's Ruan Zheng was a tough bone to pick. He rarely fought battles, but when he did, he always won.

Luo Yu was the last to arrive in Ping City, but he had a unique ident.i.ty. He had a background related to many influential figures inland and was never short on money. He also had an abundance of connections. Not long after he appeared, he alone had taken over half of Ping City's black market.
In the first few years that Luo Yu spent in Ping City, the three parties followed the principle of not disturbing one another. Though there were plenty of small disputes privately, they still maintained a somewhat peaceful appearance to the public.

But starting from an unknown time, Ruan Zheng had started opposing everything Luo Yu did. He would find a way to b.u.t.t into every one of Luo Yu's business transactions or try to steal cargo from Luo Yu. Worse yet, he was never scared that the other would know who did it; he always did these things using his own name: Laozi did it.

Eventually, the two escalated from small fights to full out turf wars. Each wished they could kill the other and grind their bones to dust, or eat their flesh and sleep on their hide.

These days Ruan Zheng had seemingly backed off, so Luo Yu had almost forgotten he existed. He had told Lu Yi to go alone and retrieve the cargo because he wanted to take this opportunity to train him. Who knew that Ruan Zheng……

Luo Yu glanced at Lu Yi who was sitting up front and said, "It wasn't all your fault."

Lu Yi's shoulders seemed to relax.

"But you will still need to be punished." Luo Yu leaned against his seat and closed his eyes, placing his interlaced hands on his legs. After a while, he added, "Get it yourself from Elder Song later."

"Yes," Lu Yi answered softly.

Luo Yu then turned his head to order Xing Licheng who was beside him, "Investigate what Zhen Ting has been up to for me."

Luo Yu pulled a lot of strings to make an emergency transfer of another batch of goods from a friend inland. It was only then that this issue was somewhat covered up. The Middle Easterners' boat had a delayed departure time of about three hours, causing them to almost get caught. They were quite displeased about Luo Yu's rescheduling, only placated by the many extra gifts Luo Yu gave them.

Ruan Zheng was mysterious. Xing Licheng spent a lot of time investigating, but still found nothing substantial. There was only a piece of news that said Ruan Zheng had left Ping City recently for some unknown reason——these rumors were the equivalent of no news.

Perhaps he had gone on vacation to some tropical island.

But Luo Yu had no energy to spend all his time wondering about Ruan Zheng. He had an upcoming meeting with the only son of a large firearms dealer from country A, A·L. They were meeting to discuss a new transport line.

A·L arrived alone. To show how much Luo Yu valued this upcoming collaboration, he and his driver personally greeted him at the airport.

On the car, A·L couldn't wait to tell Luo Yu that he liked Asian women. Luo Yu smiled knowingly and ordered the driver to change directions. They would first be bringing Mr. Lawrence to White Nest, the private lounge that a friend from the capitol asked him to manage in his stead.

No matter how subtly a private lounge advertised themselves, they still ultimately dealt in the business of flesh. The only difference was that they were cleaner than the establishments that received customers in shabby and old residential buildings.

White Nest was located in a forested area not far from the airport. There was also a horse ranch and golf course nearby. A single white building hidden in the shade, it was a place hard to find.

Luo Yu often visited this location too, so the driver found the entrance to the underground parking lot quite familiarly and entered after swiping the card. He parked outside the regular customers' entrance and got out of the car to open the door for his boss. Then, he very consciously left.

White Nest's manager Neal had already been waiting at the door for some time. He brought Luo Yu and A·L to the elevator, whereupon they went directly to a guest room on the third floor. There were a few Asian girls of different styles and types standing in the room.

A·L chose a girl who knew decent English; Neal told her to take care of the customer well, then left the room with Luo Yu.

Neal asked Luo Yu, "Would Mr. Luo be interested in seeing some of our new little masters? They're all very clean."

Luo Yu shook his head. "Not this time."

He kept walking along the hallway, simultaneously asking Neal about White Nest's recent business happenings. Neal considered Luo Yu's erratic temperament and immediately acted as if he were facing an important enemy. He nervously answered Luo Yu's questions, terrified that he would accidentally say the wrong thing.

At this time, a commotion suddenly erupted from a nearby room. A boy charged outside as a fierce looking man gripped his hand and tried to tow him back inside from behind.

The boy saw Luo Yu and was dazed for a moment, before using his large, pitiful eyes to stare at him. He desperately called for help, "Sir! Save me!"

That boy's appearance seemed pure. His lips were red and his teeth white, he was the type that Luo Yu liked a lot.

Thus, Luo Yu stopped walking. He glanced at the large man. Though the man didn't recognize Luo Yu, upon seeing how frightened his manager looked standing next to him, he also didn't dare to cause any trouble. He could only release the boy.

As soon as he let go, the boy lost his balance and fell on his b.u.t.t in front of Luo Yu. He lifted his head to look up at the other. Luo Yu saw the fresh whip mark on the boy's neck and furrowed his brows as he asked Neal, "Has White Nest been in such desperate need of people lately?"

Neal had never seen this boy before either. He furrowed his brows and asked that man, "Ah Liang, what's going on?"

"This kid was fine when we got here," Ah Liang replied with a gruff voice. "Who knew that he would start pretending to be able to die for his own chast.i.ty as soon as we walked in!"

"I- I didn't know when I came here……" The boy refuted quietly.

Ah Liang was only following orders too. He wanted to explain that he was innocent, only for Neal to interrupt him. "That's enough."

"Mr. Luo, how about we step inside and talk?" Neal suggested this because he was afraid that the pa.s.sersby in the aisle would displease Luo Yu.

Luo Yu nodded, so Neal pushed open the door. Inside was a normal guest room containing a sofa and bedroom.

Luo Yu lowered his gaze to look at the boy. He inquired, "Can you stand?"

The boy nodded, hands grasping onto the door as he stood up. He softly said, "Thank you."

He then shakily walked into the room.

After the door closed, Neal finally opened his mouth to ask, "What the h.e.l.l is going on?"

Ah Liang glanced at the expressionless Luo Yu, then at the boy to his side. He stammered out a brief summary of the situation.

This boy's name was Su Jiawen. He was a Chinese major in his second year of university. His mother owed a gambling debt; he had been tricked into the White Nest to repay his mother's debts.

Neal finally remembered upon hearing this. Su Jiawen was a lot better looking in person than in his pictures, so he hadn't recognized him at first. He asked Su Jiawen, "Didn't you read the terms?"

The terms of a business like this meant nothing legally and were only a few guidelines to be followed, but were enough for one to understand what it meant to be a server at White Nest.

"I didn't," Su Jiawen said. "My mom told me I would only be a server at a private lounge."

Su Jiawen believed what his mother had said and naively followed Ah Liang. As soon as he walked into White Nest and heard what Ah Liang said, he finally realized something was wrong. He didn't want to do this anymore and said he wanted to leave.

How could they let someone who already had a foot in back out? Ah Liang thought he was suddenly regretting his decision, so was just about to start punis.h.i.+ng him. Who knew that he would run into the big boss as soon as he charged out.

"Su Jiawen?" Luo Yu called his name. Su Jiawen lifted his head to look at him. His chin was sharp and he still had some baby fat on his cheeks, making him fit the image of a student perfectly. Because Luo Yu had saved him, he had developed a dependence on the other. Even his gaze when looking at Luo Yu was full of trust.

Luo Yu asked him, "Have you ever been in a relations.h.i.+p?"

Upon hearing this question, Su Jiawen blanked before shaking his head. "No."

"Then……" Luo Yu s.h.i.+fted closer to him; the smell of cigarette smoke and cologne on his body surrounded Su Jiawen. He lowered his voice and inquired right by Su Jiawen's ear, "Have you ever made love before?"

Upon hearing the words "made love", Su Jiawen's shoulders froze. He stared at Luo Yu in panic. A moment later, he finally parted his lips to lightly answer, "No."

Luo Yu smiled, then patted Su Jiawen's shoulder. "Jiawen, how about this. You choose."

Su Jiawen looked at him, waiting for him to keep speaking.

Though Luo Yu was smiling, there was nothing playful about his gaze. He said, "Option one, you come with me. Option two, you go with him."

Su Jiawen blinked. It seemed that he hadn't understood. He asked softly, "If I go with you……is anything different?"

Luo Yu thought Su Jiawen's shyness was interesting, so leaned in closer. He spoke quietly to him, using around the same volume that Su Jiawen had used before. "If you come with me, you'll only get f.u.c.ked by me. If you go with him, who knows how many people you'll get f.u.c.ked by."

Su Jiawen was frightened by Luo Yu's direct words. His face paled as he shrunk in upon himself and his lips trembled. Still, he remained silent until finally, when Luo Yu was about to lose interest, he said, "I'll go with you."

Luo Yu thus glanced at Neal. Neal immediately smiled, "Whatever Mr. Luo says."

He was only missing the part where he told Su Jiawen to thank the master for his grace.

Luo Yu didn't take Su Jiawen home, but to a room he had at the White Nest instead.

Su Jiawen sat on the edge of the bed. Luo Yu asked him, "Do you know what to do?"

Su Jiawen nodded hesitantly.

"Then go wash yourself," Luo Yu ordered. "Do what you should."

As he took in Su Jiawen's wide-eyed expression, Luo Yu scooted forward to scare him, "If I'm not satisfied, I'll return you to Neal."

After this fright, Su Jiawen immediately ran into the bathroom. He took a fifteen minute shower before coming back out.

He wore a bathrobe; the ends of his hair were still wet, strands limp with moisture. He opened the door but didn't walk out, only peeking his head over to look at Luo Yu. His eyes were wide as he said, "Mr. Luo, I'm done was.h.i.+ng."

Luo Yu was amused by Su Jiawen's appearance. He gestured with his hand, "Come here."

Su Jiawen slowly inched forward. The scent of water vapor and something refres.h.i.+ng surrounded him. It was suitable for home or outside, and was quite satisfying.

Luo Yu had him kneel before him, then reached a hand out to caress Su Jiawen's collarbone and thin chest that peeked out from under his robe. His fingertips purposefully rubbed and pinched at the little nubs on his chest. Su Jiawen instantly flushed red and lifted his head to look up at Luo Yu.

"Get on the bed." Luo Yu pointed at the large bed nearby and asked, "Did you prepare yourself already?"

Su Jiawen's lips trembled as he nodded.

Luo Yu c.o.c.ked an eyebrow and questioned, "Do you like men?"

Su Jiawen refused to answer. He walked over to the side of the bed, face red with blush, and sat there looking at Luo Yu. Luo Yu liked to look at this sweet and obedient little thing, so didn't continue with his inquiries. He walked over and pressed Su Jiawen onto the bed.

Luo Yu never kissed others, but this time he broke his own rules and kissed Su Jiawen's cheek. He undid the strings of the robe; Su Jiawen wore nothing underneath. The little organ between his legs rested limply against a spa.r.s.e bed of pubic hair. He really had stretched himself, but quite poorly. The glistening lube had been rubbed by Su Jiawen all over the crack between his a.s.scheeks.

Luo Yu was into this. His lower body was excited too. He stood by the edge of the bed and removed his belt, then told Su Jiawen, "Lick."

Su Jiawen was very obedient. He climbed over to kneel in front of Luo Yu and pulled down Luo Yu's pants. As if he were licking a lollipop, he repeatedly licked from the base to the tip. Luo Yu looked down at Su Jiawen's long and thick eyelashes and semi-closed eyes. He was hard in an instant.

He told Su Jiawen to put on the condom for him with his mouth, but Su Jiawen didn't know how. He held the condom between his teeth awkwardly, not knowing what to do with it. His bottom lip gently brushed against the tip of Luo Yu's d.i.c.k.

Luo Yu felt that this was a bit unbearable, so sighed and put on the condom himself. He patted Su Jiawen's face. "Go lie down."

Su Jiawen sprawled out on the bed, naked. Luo Yu didn't climb onto the bed, he remained standing on the side and pulled Su Jiawen by his legs to the spot in front of him. He reached a hand out to fondle Su Jiawen's a.s.shole, then held Su Jiawen's hips tightly as he pushed himself in bit by bit.

This hurt Su Jiawen so bad that his entire back froze up. But he was so tight and warm inside that Luo Yu unregretfully began moving, His every thrust caused Su Jiawen to tremble slightly. Su Jiawen stayed limply sprawled in front of him, his tender and red a.s.shole repeatedly pushed into by Luo Yu's big member. It seemed that he was in so much pain that he had no energy left, allowing Luo Yu to f.u.c.k him as he wished.

Luo Yu originally thought this bout of copulation was purely him relieving himself, because he truly had no patience for his bed partners. He only needed s.e.x, not love. Who knew that after a while, he flipped Su Jiawen over, only to see the organ between his legs was already semi-erect. It rubbed against his pale abdomen in time with Luo Yu's rhythmic motions, fluid leaking out from the tip and getting all over the place.

Unlike Luo Yu's usual bed partners who always pretended they were o.r.g.a.s.ming, Su Jiawen seemed to be actually enjoying this carnal activity. Because the large member inside his body was currently rubbing against his most sensitive spot after being flipped over, he let out a gentle moan that made Luo Yu even harder.

Any man's vanity would be extremely fulfilled if they received validation regarding their abilities in certain areas.

The blush on Su Jiawen's face extended from the corners of his eyes to the bottoms of his ears. Because his o.r.g.a.s.m was approaching, his mouth was slightly open, gasps seemingly filled with indulgence. Before Luo Yu realized what he was doing, he had already planted a kiss on Su Jiawen's lips.

Su Jiawen tasted very clean; his mouth was soft and wet. As Luo Yu kissed him, he kept pounding into him with his lower half. Su Jiawen's moans became caught in Luo Yu's throat and he could only make small sounds from his nose.

Luo Yu's entire body heated up as he listened to Su Jiawen's m.u.f.fled cries. His head was dizzy too. He unb.u.t.toned a few of the b.u.t.tons on his s.h.i.+rt, then pinned Su Jiawen onto the bed and f.u.c.ked into him harshly. It was almost as if he felt the need to force the most wanton noises out of Su Jiawen.
In the end, Su Jiawen had almost pa.s.sed out when Luo Yu finally came. He exited out of Su Jiawen and originally wanted to head straight to the bathroom like he normally did, but upon seeing how pitiful Su Jiawen looked, he paused. Then, he laid down on Su Jiawen.

Su Jiawen didn't have the strength to resist, so only furrowed his brows because he didn't dare to speak. Luo Yu held him down for a few more seconds. After he finished taking advantage of him, he rolled over to lay beside Su Jiawen and allowed the other to lean against his shoulder.

Su Jiawen glued himself to Luo Yu, keeping his eyes closed as he panted.

Luo Yu would rarely engage in such gentle interactions with his bed partners. As he allowed Su Jiawen to lean against him, he thought to himself, this little thing isn't bad, I can keep him for a bit.

After resting a while, Luo Yu asked Su Jiawen, "Can you still walk?"

Su Jiawen finally opened his eyes and raised his head to look at Luo Yu. He said, "I should be able to."

So Luo Yu told him to choose an outfit to wear from the closet. He himself went into the bathroom.

As he walked out with a towel around his waist, Luo Yu saw Su Jiawen swing both his feet off the bed, about to stand, only to suddenly fall on the ground with a putong.

He half-knelt, half-sprawled on the floor and looked at Luo Yu. Then, in embarra.s.sment, he said, "Mr. Luo, I don't think I can walk anymore."

Luo Yu walked over and grabbed Su Jiawen's wrist, making to pull him up. Su Jiawen also put effort into trying to stand up, so lifted his other hand too and held onto Luo Yu.

Who knew that with this addition, not only did Luo Yu fail to haul him up, he ended up on the floor alongside Su Jiawen instead.

The towel around Luo Yu's waist almost came apart. He was displeased internally, but upon seeing Su Jiawen's frightened and apologetic face, he ultimately didn't display any anger. Rather, he simply picked Su Jiawen up and placed him on the bed. "Be good and stay here."

Su Jiawen originally agreed, but upon seeing Luo Yu start changing in the changing room, he asked, "Are you leaving, Mr. Luo?"

Luo Yu hadn't closed the door to the changing room. He was in the middle of tying his tie as he scanned over Su Jiawen. "Don't ask about things you shouldn't."

"But what about me?" Su Jiawen questioned in panic. He seemed to be scared that after sleeping with him, Luo Yu would abandon him at White Nest once more. Even under Luo Yu's cold gaze, he was determined to get an answer out of him.

Luo Yu put on a coat and walked out, put together. He looked down at him for a few seconds then said, "I'll have someone pick you up later."

Su Jiawen exhaled in relief and stared at Luo Yu in a daze.

Luo Yu put a hand out to caress Su Jiawen's smooth cheeks, then left.

Luo Yu looked at his watch; in the evening, he had dinner plans with a few new politicians who had just arrived in Ping City last month. Luo Yu had an innumerous amount of connections within the inland political circle. Every time a new official arrived at Ping City, they would have a meal with him as a way for them to get to know each other's boundaries.

These dinner meetings were quite stressful. As soon as Luo Yu got in the car, Xing Licheng handed him two sets of files. The one on top was thicker and he had previously looked at it already. It contained information about the people he would be meeting at dinner, gathered through simple investigation. The thinner one under it was Su Jiawen's.

Luo Yu listlessly flipped through it. Su Jiawen was a current Chinese studies student at Ping University. He was your typical good student, average in all aspects except appearance-wise. His father had pa.s.sed away early on and his mother recently became addicted to gambling. Luo Yu already knew the rest.

Luo Yu threw the files to the side. Now that he knew Su Jiawen didn't have a unique background, he felt slightly more a.s.sured. So when Xing Licheng asked where he wanted to arrange for the person from White Nest to go, he barely hesitated and said, "Home."

He had a large, vicious dog at home. In his backyard, there were three purebred horses. All he was missing was a little bed-warmer for the winter months.

Xing Licheng agreed, then reported A·L's activities to Luo Yu. A·L was still immersed in his Asian heaven and hadn't even gotten up yet.

Luo Yu thought that A·L seemed like a smoke bomb, but didn't say anything about it. He asked Xing Licheng a few more questions before they arrived at the place dinner was planned for.

The evening was another battle of words. Luo Yu drank enough to become tipsy, which, in addition to how tired he was from the day, caused him to fall asleep on the way home.

When he got out of the car, he was woken by a cold gust of wind. Xing Licheng helped him walk in the door. Su Jiawen was sitting on the couch staring at him, alert.

Luo Yu didn't keep these bed partners in his memory. After not seeing him for a couple of hours, he had almost forgotten such a person existed. Now that he saw Su Jiawen again, his mood couldn't be cla.s.sified as happy or unhappy. He merely glanced at him before walking upstairs.

When Xing Licheng had brought Su Jiawen to Luo Yu's house, he felt that Luo Yu's treatment towards this person was special, so he spoke with Su Jiawen for a few extra minutes. He arranged a guest room downstairs for Su Jiawen and told him, when sir doesn't need your company, don't go bother him.

Su Jiawen remembered Xing Licheng's words, so stood at the bottom of the staircase and watched Luo Yu. Luo Yu walked up halfway before stopping. He spoke to the person downstairs, "What are you standing there in a daze for? You still can't walk?"

Su Jiawen met Xing Licheng's gaze. When Xing Licheng slightly nodded at him, expressionless, he finally limped forward as fast as he could to stand beside Luo Yu.

That night, Luo Yu didn't take Su Jiawen, but he still tired him out enough.

When Luo Yu was drunk, he had a lot of requests. One moment he was ordering Su Jiawen to prep the bathwater for him, the next he wanted Su Jiawen to step on his back and give him a ma.s.sage.

Su Jiawen was a proper Chinese major, how would he know how to give such a fancy ma.s.sage? His phone had been taken away by Xing Licheng too, so he could only ask Luo Yu, "Mr. Luo can I borrow your phone? I'll search up a guide."

Luo Yu was sprawled naked on the bed. His back muscles were stiff with knots. He turned his head to look at Su Jiawen judgingly. A brief pause later, he said, "Search for what. Ma.s.sage however you want."

Su Jiawen had no other choice but to sit on Luo Yu's back. His hands moved around Luo Yu's shoulders, sometimes pounding on the left, sometimes pressing on the right. Every time he wanted to take a break when he thought Luo Yu had fallen asleep, Luo Yu's voice would sound out again and ask him, "Did you die?"

As he ma.s.saged, Su Jiawen became sleepy too. His movements became slower until finally, Luo Yu felt the pressure on his back get lighter and lighter. Eventually, Su Jiawen fell on top of him. He elbowed the other off.

Luo Yu looked over to observe Su Jiawen who surprisingly had fallen asleep. He seemed to be having a good sleep, his hands still shaped like fists, as if he were about to continue ma.s.saging Luo Yu's shoulders.

Luo Yu was amused. He never slept in the same bed as others, but Su Jiawen was so physically weak he was harmless. Luo Yu simply pushed him onto the floor.

Su Jiawen had suffered from a fright during the day, then had engaged in such rough activity with Luo Yu; he didn't even wake up after falling onto the carpet. Luo Yu graced him with a blanket, then fell asleep himself.
