"What happened?" Alarmed, Alfred walked to the guard.
"We met with a group of men. They were dressed the same way as the corpses in the hotel-"
"What? The same clothes?" Alfred gripped the guard's shoulders, not letting him finish his words.
"Yes, yes, the same clothes..." The guard nodded, a bit startled from Alfred's reaction. "We tried to talk to them, but they attacked us and then ran away. So I was sent here to give you the report." He finally managed to finish his story.
"Take me there as fast as you can!" Alfred commanded and finally let go of the guard. They started running in the direction from which the guard came.

The atmosphere in the room was ominous. The slave traders were already on their knees, unable to stand from the high pressure emitted from the tall man. Cold sweat ran down their backs, making them s.h.i.+ver. They were on the verge of collapsing.
Erin frowned and her looks changed. Her crimson eyes and hair created a beautiful sight. In the next moment, an aura not less powerful then the tall man came out of her. The air around them seemed to be charged and the two auras clashed.
BOOM!
A small explosion took place where the auras crossed paths. The slave traders turned pale. At the next moment, they vomited blood. Those auras were too strong for them to handle.
"Oops," The tall man retracted his aura and together with the other two, moved in front of the slave traders. "Leave now, or else it will be too late!" He told them without looking back. His gaze was still locked at Erin.
The traders stumbled and turned around. They went through a back door and ran away from the place. They knew that if they stayed a bit longer, they would die. That place was just too dangerous for them at the moment.
"Hehehe, how good of you, to let them leave." The tall man laughed.
"Even if they leave now, they can't run away from us. It's only a matter of time before their death. Why should we kill them now, when there is an even better meal in front of our eyes?" Anna moved to the left of Erin, trying to gauge their opponents' strength.
"Hehehe, better meal, is it? Let's see if you can actually enjoy it or choke to death trying." One of the shorter guys said, moving to the tall man's side.
"Let's make it easier for everyone. Going in a group battle or one versus one? What do you prefer?" The tall man asked.
Erin looked at Anna and Lyse. Weren't those guys too relaxed, to just ask if it would be a group battle or one against one? It wasn't a tournament or a game. They would fight for their lives! Anyway, it was better to wait for her companions' answer.
Anna looked at Erin and guessed what was on her mind. "Let's go for one versus one then. Is that fine with you?" She asked and turned to Erin and Lyse. They both nodded.
A smirk surfaced on the face of the tall man. "This way," he said and jumped through the window. Erin looked back to Anna and Lyse and seeing them not reacting, followed the man outside.
Anna's smile never left her face. She looked at the remaining enemies and her smile became even brighter. She licked her lips and pointed at one of them, bending her finger. That was clearly a provocation, but it looked more like an invitation. With that gesture, she turned around and started walking slowly to the middle of the room. It was clear she wanted her duel to be there.
One of the men gulped hard, looking at the revealing figure of Anna. He shook his head and turned around to the other one. "This one is for me, you can have the half-elf." Not waiting even for a response, he walked to Anna's direction, ready to pounce on her at any moment.
Lyse looked at the last man standing there and kicked the ground, jumping backward. This time her movements were precise. Within a second, she was out of the room and into the corridor. She looked around, her sight briefly grazing the frozen men in the corridor. That was truly like a praiseworthy artwork. They looked just like beautiful statues.
The last man followed Lyse to the corridor and s.h.i.+vers came over him from the cold. He looked around at the ice world created there and his aura burst out from him. A hot air perpetrated their surroundings, and two chains started spinning in his hands. It was clear that he could control the fire. The surrounding ice started to melt little by little. Lyse frowned for a moment, but regained her composure and prepared for the battle.
