"Where is this?" Fang Xiang scrutinized her surroundings. The last thing she remembered was being rammed by something hard then she blacked out.

"Congratulations and welcome to the Transmigration System, Host #119. You have been selected to be the next host for this important mission. Any questions?" An adorable voice perked up throughout the s.p.a.ce.

"Who? Where are you?" Fang Xiang peered around her, attempting to discern the source of the voice to no avail. Is this similar to the system stories that I have read before? How interesting.

"I am System #95 pleasure to meet you Host. You are now in your private system s.p.a.ce. Indeed, Host, it's roughly the same as the system stories you read on the internet." The voice replied.

"You can read my mind?" Fang Xiang raised an eyebrow to the system's answer.

"Indeed Host, for your soul has merged with my system when you died by being rammed by a bullet train. Such a gory sight." The system lamented.

Fang Xiang's eyebrow twitched at the system's reply. She had the sudden urge to beat the system up but she just can't, considering she doesn't even know where the system is.

Calming down, she asked another question. "So, what do I get out of all of this?"

"You can either decide to go back to your former life in the past before you died, or you can choose your own reincarnation. In other words, you can select whichever family you want to born into, from multiple worlds." The system explained.

Make sure to compensate all the points back or there will be grave consequences, but nothing lethal enough to make your soul disperse and never reincarnate again."

"I see… So there are other systems in the universe?" Fang Xiang asked as she absorbed all the information given by the system.

"I understand." Fang Xiang nodded. "When are we going to start?"

"No you don't but you will get to choose a skill to master before you proceed to the next world." The system materializes a sapphire blue crystalline screen in front of Fang Xiang, showing her three options, 'Martial Arts', 'Dancing' and 'Singing'.

"What world are we going to, system?" Fang Xiang asked. "Can you relay the plot to me first?"

"Okay," the system agreed.

Long story short, Yun Mei ended up being the crown princess and the general swore to never take any wife in his lifetime, which ended his clan's legacy, while Yun Mei happily lived with the crown prince, now the Emperor and her as his Empress. The emperor's multiple women were sentenced to death just to declare his love for the female lead, as absurd as it sounds.

The multiple women were daughters from powerful n.o.bilities and so their clans rebelled with the crown. The second male lead, the general battled bravely against the rebels, just to protect his beloved although she belonged to another, and died by being surrounded. The emperor was enraged and commanded his imperial troops to settle the coup de tat. That chaos was only the beginning. The neighboring country revolted, violating the peace treaty, and worked together with the rebels to take over the country. In the end, the male lead died, leaving Yun Mei at the hands of the enemy. Seeing Yun Mei's charm, coupled with her powerful female lead halo, she was brought in as the emperor's favorite concubine. The emperor, Jun Tianli, even dismissed his current empress and banished her into the cold palace, causing people's favourability of the crown dropped to the rock bottom since Yun Mei was the woman of the fallen emperor of the Huo Empire. "Makes sense," Fang Xiang sighed at her predicament. "Well, there is no option but to choose martial arts."

"Martial arts it is," The system replied before she felt the sudden pain inside her head like something is smas.h.i.+ng, tearing apart, repairing and the cycle goes on.

"What. The. h.e.l.l." Fang Xiang panted as the pain receded. "That freaking hurts! Hurt is not even a suitable word. There are no words for the agonizing pain that I underwent okay!"
