After a day's preparation, Fang Xiang exhaustedly hauled herself to her firm mattress and slept soundly.

"Thank you, Feng ge."

"En," Ya Feng pulled away before gazing straight at Fang Xiang's black orbs. "As your colonel, I'll always be by your side to protect you."

Fang Xiang pressed her lips into a straight line. "You know the plan," Fang Xiang shook her head in dismissal. "Follow through the plan and only that way can we secure a definite victory."

Ya Feng stayed silent for a moment before agreeing. "Understood."

"Let's go," Fang Xiang marched straight towards the training area where soldiers were positioning themselves into the agreed formation, then head towards the direction of the general's tent. "Lieutenant general Fang reporting." Fang Xiang announced her presence before the two guards guarding the general's tent can notify her appearance.

"Come in," A deep voice beckoned from inside the camp.

Fang Xiang proceeded inside before kneeling down with respect. "All preparations are ready, general."

"Good," Guan Chengyi said. "Let's set out."
