Alex's eyes widened in surprise when he saw what he found in his status, he obtained a new magic as well as an improvement with his main element, apart from that it was an element that he had wanted to have from the beginning, but a doubt appeared deep inside his being, which was because he had these elements, why fire? why darkness? why lighting?
He could only shake his head and stop thinking about it, right now he doesn't have enough information to be able to give himself a satisfactory answer.
Alex shook his body of emotion by having another magical element with which to entertain himself as well as for the things he can achieve in an unknown future.
Full of emotion, Alex ran through the jungle in search of a place as open as possible. Time pa.s.sed and Alex found none, annoyed, Alex destroyed all the trees around him with a single blow of his spiritual form.
The gigantic trees took and fell as their branches were entangled with those of the other nearby trees, but when they fell, a great deal of light hit Alex's place.
He quickly controlled his mana so that it became the lighting element and was expelled from his body to form a ball of lightning using the same formula as for a fireball.
Alex imagined a ball the size of a baseball floating in front of him, his mana soon responded to his desire to form a ball of lighting with few uncontrolled rays, but as soon as it formed, it was out of control and dispersed the mana in the environment.
This didn't surprise Alex since it was something that happened to him when he tried to use his other two elements the first time, although he now has high control in his mana, he has a long way to go to get used to transforming his mana into lighting.
But this doesn't discourage Alex who quickly continued to try to create more lighting spheres to increase his familiarity and be able to take his familiarity to a level where he can turn his mana into lighting with just a blink, just as he can now do with his other two elements.
At the beginning, he simply created lighting spheres around him, and then juggled with them, as well as filling his fur with electricity, with every step Alex took, small streams of lightning appeared to move wildly through his fur, but, although Alex it seems that he was completely focused on improving his familiarity with his new element, he remained alert of his surroundings, for any surprise attack or some observer.
But to Alex's luck, he didn't find any command post in the corridor, there were traces that there was one, but that was all, footprints.
Alex did not take long to get out of the corridor and reach the last room, Alex entered the new place while three small lighting spheres revolve around his tail.
This annoys Alex, someone who likes to observe and judge with his senses being his favorite sight.
Alex tried to touch the fog with his paw while trying to feel the mana of the environment, but his attempts are ineffective since the fog escapes easily from the reach of its small paws.
"Mm!" Alex decided to directly absorb the mana from the environment through his mouth by sucking it, the mana was attracted to him but when the first amount of mana was combined with Alex's mana, a powerful force of repulsion came from within and ejected the mana, back to the environment while Alex felt that he was losing all the strength in his body.
Alex opened his eyes tightly when he felt this, he did not understand what happened, small sharp pains. .h.i.t him shortly after, but quickly stopped thanks to Alice's help, she reacted as quickly as she could when she saw the action of Alex and she managed to block the contaminated mana and expel it from Alex's body.
What had happened is that Alex had sucked mana poisoned with the water elements, both completely harmful to Alex by simple logic to Alice.
Ingesting mana that is not of the same element as the core as one, is the same as committing suicide since the person's or beast's mana will reject the absorbed mana and this contaminated mana can break the magic cores and cause the death of the Beast or the person who performed such an action.
Before Alex could absorb mana from the environment and it was because he did not have a magic core with certain magical elements, so he allowed him to absorb the mana of any element, but now is not longer possible.
For this effect, it is that you can't master elements that your magic core doesn't contain, unless you use an external magic core to use that element, but you cannot improve familiarity with an element from which the extracted magic core is already determined.
The moment Alice removes the contaminated mana from Alex's body, he stopped feeling all the bad effects he felt before, he just ended up feeling the loss of the mana that Alice ejected.
Shortly after Alex began his progress towards leaving the place without knowing that he was saved by Alice, he couldn't know because of the inability to communicate between them.
Alex moved with confidence in the fog since his ability [Mapping] continues to register his surroundings, but only where he has walked, he tried to explore the place with his aura, but apparently the high density of the mana prevented him from doing this or possibly the fog contains something that prevents him from achieving that.
Alex didn't feel any aura of any beast since he entered, but he could hear the sound of fighting or things moving far away.
It didn't take long for Alex to find a monster, who was simply walking without a specific direction.
The monster was shaped like a humanoid, but its limbs were those of a beast, with arms that end in powerful claws and equal legs, its skin tone was a pale gray and with a little fur.
That doesn't have eyes, but had a large snout like a canine with large fangs and also had large ears, the monster moved with its four members, simply moving forward while absorbing mana with its mouth and then releasing a large amount of fog from its mouth.
Alex looked a little horrified by the horrible aspect of the monster.
The body of that showed to have the skin attached to the bones, in the part of his chest instead of ribs, there were large b.u.mps leading to the center of his chest where his heart should be was a large light green crystal with blue touches, the crystal shone every time the monster absorbed mana from the environment.
Alex didn't think twice as he moved around and dodged the claws of the monster that tried to catch him.
The monster was able to flex its limbs at angles that should not be possible, but that did it still and in a horrible way that caused a little fear in Alex, something that is not a surprise since it is one of its skills that helps it to scare its prey with it horrible appearance and thus be able to hunt them.
But to the bad luck of the monster, its ability only made Alex mentally curse it for its ugly appearance and avoid it at all costs.
Alex didn't stay away, but he continued advancing towards the exit which came easily, this time there were no problems and he was able to advance through the corridor to the last room on the second floor, but as Alex advanced he progressed with his new element.
