Slightly jerking forward, "Alright, there boy, you will feast upon roasted fish, next time we go fis.h.i.+ng," holding him up of his shoulder, Rais inspirited him in excitement. Holding a grin, Anila too grew amused, watching their enthusiasm exult out.
Shortly afterward, placing Silver Descent down at clasp of Anilas' hands, Rais stepped toward the target. Plucking one of the knives, Rais walked back, "mom, perhaps, should you guide me the ways to wield a sword. Possibly, I hold a greater talent for it."
While conversing with her, Rais flipped the knife skyward, then to quickly fling it once more. "Similar to my father," he stated while watching the knife dig into the wooden beam.
"Perhaps, just that your mom is no swordswoman," while shaking her head in comical refusal, Anila steered at the knives slightly tilting her head. "While those puny kitchen knives are no swords, even if Swordmaster teaches you, they won't extend into one."
"Perhaps it can," Rais halted her onslaught, "Remember If a tree sprouts, within my stomach, of a seed I swallowed. If that is feasible, anything is achievable," Rais reminded Anila of an instant when he was just a three-year-old toddler.
"You continue to remember that?" mom and son laughed at each other.
"Ways of the swords will reside within the dreams," Rais stated disappointment.
"Try your luck once you are in the Throne Restorers, my little Swordmaster."
"You're right." Thus placing the thought behind him, Rais relapsed to pleasant mood, "when will I ignite the fire?"
"Even though you did great, don't get ahead of yourself. There are particular lessons you require to learn before you begin learning magic spells."
"Although you centered it ten times, you defeated the purpose of the training. Run inside the house and arrange the rest of the knives."
Rais flashed inside the house again and arranged the whole set of knives.
"Now increase your range by three times, and try targeting it with both arrows and the knives."
The target seemed smaller and smaller, while he stepped backward. Even though he exerted all his strength, the knives merely made it to the outer edge at best.
"Thus the knives were at best a mid-range weapon, it becomes difficult to control their rotation once I increase the range," Rais smiled while switching his weapon.
"Now try the bow this time."
Although he somewhat expected the result, Rais became stupefied, witnessing first two arrows nearly making it to the center. "I understand," he stated once he centered the third one.
"Very well, I will transfer the basic to you; however, all other training will continue. Whatever routine you start today, will simply be an addition to the previous."
"Not only will you learn to gather mana, but the process of start opening your meridians as well. Although they are distinct in their source, they are both forms of destructive power, understanding one will improve your understanding of the other considerably. Listen carefully, considering this the most essential things."
"There exist three types of energy a person require to understand if they ever desire to devise an influence in the greater world."
"The spiritual force that originates from the soul of the living and the dead."A faint smoky wisp emerged on Anila's finger.
Soon a funnel of colorful light formed, "the true qi vitality that embodies the innate energy of all living and nonliving material within the mortal realm and the magic power, the most mysterious form of energy."
A sea of glowing light gleamed throughout the yard, "It doesn't have any source and its completely external. Although its origin is unknown and debated; nevertheless, it is also the most abundant form of energy."
"Each type of energy allows for various uses; furthermore, they complement each other to cover the weakness of one another."

Making tight fists, Rais sat unmoving, while he followed some of the concepts his mom talked about.
Seeing him confused Anila extended her hand and coldness started spreading, while Ice began forming over her palm.
"Mom, how so quickly! I remember, it takes time to cast a magic spell."
"This is what I was talking about, I don't require to cast, considering I have source water attribute created from true qi within my primordial qi domain. This is the advantage of combining all the energy, one source of power will boost the other; moreover, it will gradually transform you into something unstoppable."
"A magic gatherer matures into Mystic Sorcerer, a spirit force controller becomes an Essence Premier, while a true qi refiner becomes a Martial Warrior, however, all their paths is limited."
"They restrict themselves from metamorphosing into a true powerhouse, only the ones that cultivate all three sources will become a genuine powerhouse. A Cultivator embodies the single path to grasp the apex of power."
Although Rais had various questions, he decided to ask gradually, "Mom, are you also good at controlling spiritual force?"
Seeing his mother not responding to him, he knew his mother also knew control spirit force. He became amazed since all of this was very new to him.
"It's almost impossible to control spirit force. Your mom has a powerful soul force, despite this even now, after practicing for so long, I barely touched the threshold of what is truly possible."
"If true qi is innate energy, why am I unable to refine it, is it similarly difficult to refine?"
"Less difficult than spirit force control, however, more difficult than mana gathering and as for why people are unable to control it...," Anila paused smiling.
"It's a mystery, that even at a time I knew nothing of hence you will likewise retain its secret!"
"Although true qi is innate, it gets trapped within the primordial qi domain just underneath the belly b.u.t.ton until they begin opening their qi meridians."
"Are people born with a qi domain similar to the qi meridians?"
"No, it is formed by the heaven and the world law to restrict the unwanted. You will require the permission to observe the qi that belongs to Illipra from Illipra."
"How come I never hear anything regarding this?"
Anila answered with a smirk, "It because their memory is taken once they obtain permission from the world consciousness."
A s.h.i.+ver raced through Rais' veins as he failed to fathom the fact that the world possessed consciousness, "Will I be able to meet the world consciousness?"
"Soon after learning the basics of magic, although the question of remembering it still lingers," Anila responded with disappointment since her memory appeared blank regarding the world consciousness.
To test what Anila said, Rais wrote the secret on the ground with a twig while he observed the soil stirring downward until no record of it remained.
Fleeing a pressure, Rais turned back, although he observed nothing while Anila resumed talking about the magic gathering. Noticing Rais loose focus Anila threw an ice shard, "learn about magic first, soon we will continue with qi refining. Although magic is easiest to start with, it becomes increasingly complex at a higher level."
"So it is least decrementing when it comes to difficulties."
"Indeed, at a higher level, it is difficult for everyone. The abundance of mana makes the beginning easier; however, its complete external nature ultimately gets to everyone. Despite this, the path remains open, unlike the other two powers."
Although it also requires talent, if there is a lack of it, they still can improve with extensive knowledge and rigorous practice."
"How are the other two powers different?"
"Someone soul force is completely dependent on their luck since it has no determining factor. People are stuck with the soul force they were born with; similarly, it is almost the same with true qi refining because the talent depends on their parent's apt.i.tude. The sole difference is you can work hard to build up your body to receive a more decent chance."
"Hence this leaves most people with only one path to start with," Rais said as he grasped why people started with magic.
"Nothing comes easy, you will have to work for it," Anila agreed with Rais.
