There were also name plates present on the table to specify which academy they were representing with two magic rune circles drawn on the floor.
Among the representatives present in room two represented, Buraford Kingdom.
Buraford Military Academy and Royal Magic Academy.
Others were Heavenly Magic Academy from the Oman Empire and were represented by two representatives.
Divine Law Academy from Radiant Empire,
Battle King Academy of Chaos Empire and Solidarity Lord Academy from the Chaos Empire was represented by one representative each.
I wasn't interested in them and looked at an old woman with a skinny hand wearing a blue robe and a man sitting beside her.
The nameplate of Chronos Magic Academy was placed before them.
The representatives looked at the paper before my eyes and nodded towards each other and looked at me.
The representatives of Buraford Royal Magic Academy stood up and told me about the mystery of two rune circles on the ground.
Left was used to measure the rank of mage root and right was used to measure the rank of body potential of new magic users and fighters who still have not started cultivating.
According to their instructions I moved to the left circle and runes started to glow. I felt like someone was pinching the s.p.a.ce between my eyebrows.
After a while, they stopped the rune circle and noted the results. Then told me to inter the right rune circle. I did as instructed and went inside it.
Entering the rune circle, I felt like my entire body was getting stabbed in different parts with thin needles and felt a little pain everywhere my body.
They repeated the same step and noted down the results with bitter smiles on their face, stood up, and congratulated the old woman in a blue robe.
Even I could see that they were afraid of her.
This was how I first met one of the ten elders of Chronos Magic Academy, Aryana Coris and it was my great fortune that I got to know her.
She walked towards me and stood before me with a smile and asked me.
"Child, would you like to join our Chronos Magic Academy"
There it was. I received an invitation from the academy which I want to join without a need for me to select.
I didn't delay and gave a nod. She smiled and patted my head "Clever child, you will not regret this decision. This old lady guarantees you that"
While the other representatives only smiled. At that time I didn't know about the status of the granny before me.
After everyone was examined. We met for the last time until the representatives were done with making doc.u.ments and the process of registering under their respective academy.
The day after that everyone left with their academy representative.
The man who had come with granny had disappeared with Tylon to begin the fighter training.
This was also the reason I never knew that Tylon was also a student of Chronos Magic Academy. That man was Instructor Dan, one of the peak Battle Mages of the Magic Warrior stage. Recently he had been promoted to Junior instructor in the inner court of the Battle Mage branch.
Five days later, I finally reached the Chronos Magic Academy with Elder Aryana and witnessed the magnificent and vast academy from the sky for the first time.
Later, I met Old Man Black who enrolled me in the academy register and got my room allocated to me with three roommates. All of them were my seniors, they were in the academy for the last 5 years and had cultivation of mid-stage Magic Master. We get used to each other.
I talked with them and laughed with them but whenever they were doing some task from the academy to earn contribution points. The room was lonely and Kai's face used to keep on appearing inside my mind.
[6 years later]
I finally broke through to the Magic Master stage and had already learned about the way to issue a task to find Kai. But I didn't have any contribution points to spend. So I started doing easy tasks, one after another and spent less time learning. It was all to collect more points.
This caused me to lose focus on my cultivation and I started to fall behind others and finally one day, I was called by elder Aryana. She is the person in charge that supervised me. She wanted to know why I was neglecting my cultivation.
Through a period of six years, I had met the elder many times and had received her teachings about cultivation. I had learned that meeting an Elder was very hard, forget about that, to receive private notes about cultivations was almost impossible. It was my luck that because of some problems teachers from the Magic Branch were not available and eventually Elder Aryana had to do it. Making her the person in charge of my progress. The other point was that both of us were water attributes Magic users.
After some hesitation, I finally told her about it.
She was probably the first person I had talked to about Kai.
I remembered how she scolded me at that time, telling me that I live in an illusion and will never meet Kai again, telling me to stop being stubborn and focus on cultivation.
But I didn't listen to her and continued.
Elder Aryana was not able to take it anymore and seeing me destroy my own future, she decided to issue the task of finding Kai on my behalf. To fasten the progress she allocated contribution points for completing it.
In exchange, I will focus on my cultivation and in the future slowly return the contribution points offered by her for the issued task.
It was a good offer and I accepted it. I was grateful to Elder and one step closer to finding Kai. That is what I had thought.
Elder issued the task of finding Kai or getting any information about his whereabouts for one thousand contribution points and with time she kept on increasing the reward to motivate me. Turning into the highest points task offered in the history of the Academy. Slowly it was turning into a mission.
