Rise Of Myriad Magic Emperor 88 Busy Day Come To An End

Somewhere in the distant northern lands.

Sun cannot be seen as the white clouds cover the sky. Bone chilling cold winds are blowing and the entire land is covered in s.h.i.+ning white snow. A mountain can be seen, which is so high that it's peak cannot be seen, penetrating the clouds. A girl wearing a thick brown fur coat covering her entire body and face is moving slowly towards the base of the mountain as she leaves footprint behind can which disappear within seconds as they have never existed. Finally after reaching the base of the mountain, she stops as she took out a map and look at the ice covered mountain before her and take a deep breath.

"Finally I am here, Devil Peak"saying that she moves forward and see a mountain cave.

Entering the cave she saw a world covered in blue ice crystals, giving out gentle blue light and go deeper inside the cave and saw a blue crystal sword trapped inside the ice.

"You have come my child. I have been waiting for you all these years"a gentle voice eco throughout the cave as the girl become tensed and look around"Who?"

"You don't have to be so alarmed. Young one after all you are the last of my clan"said the voice.

"Last of the clan?"said the girl as her eyes glow with blue light.

"Are you from the Ice devil clan?"ask the girl as her voice eco throughout the cave.

"Oh! So my descendent still remember their roots"suprise can be felt from the voice.

"Yes, I am from Ice devil clan and also the first ancestor of the ice devil clan, Anafastina. To be more precise, I am will of first ancestor. Before I have died, I refined a part of my soul into the sword and formed the sword soul of Absolute Zero Sword".

Hearing that the girl look at the sword trapped inside the ice and bow down"Diana have seen honorable Ancestor"

"So how did you find this location?"ask the Anafastina.

Hearing that Diana start to explain how she found out about this place, faith well and her heavenly tribulations.

While in the Oliver house, Kai with Alina are still waiting for Oliver also Kai was feeling hungry.

"It's already 2pm, he still have not returned"said Kai as sounds coming from Kai stomach and look again at the wall clock. Every minute right now feels like hour now.

As Kai and Alina heared the sound of footsteps and turn around and found Oliver.

"Sorry it took more time then I thought but here you go"saying that Oliver gave a paper and a silver badge to Alina with a key.

"Your information is already entered in teacher register and this is the key of Kai room which you will share with his roommate. The room will be expanded by evening. This paper is the contract copy and badge is to prove your Ident.i.ty as a teacher of basic magic cla.s.ses"

Alina nodded while sound came out of Kai stomach.

Hearing that Oliver look at Kai"It seems you are really hungry"while Kai became embarra.s.sed.

"Don't worry, I can understand. Let's go to dinning room.I already have bought food with me for you guys"

Hearing that Kai was delighted and follow Oliver to dinning room as he took out three tray of food which was well organised. 

It was just ordinary rice, boiled vegetables, eggs, soup and salad.

After drinking the magical tea. I was thinking Oliver will eat food made up of magic crop but he didn't.

Alina also had a disappointed expression but it doesn't matter to me after all magic crop food has no benifit for Kai as well as he was feeling really hungry and quickly sat on the sofa. Oliver and Alina also sat and together they prayed for the well being of farmers and cook and started eating.

Kai was eating food like be his hungry for generations more like he has devouring the food instead of eating and it didn't take even 10mins to finish his food as he rub his belly with his hands. Table manners cannot be seen while Alina eat the food elegantly completely showing her upbringing as a lady where as Oliver was already rubbing his mouth with handkerchief and stood up and place the trays together and took it back inside his spiral ring and washed his hand in the water basin and rub his hands on the towel and said to Kai and Alina.

"Alina go get some rest"

"Ah! Cannot we leave now?"ask Alina

Oliver shaked his head and point Kai"Kai you are going to have a duel with me. I will like to see how strong you are and how you can improve yourself"

Hearing that Kai look at Oliver and his old body and thin hands.

Seeing the hesitation in Kai eyes and look in at him with like saying"can you really handle it. Old man.You are already old for this kind of stuff"

Oliver smiled in return"I may be old but I can beat 1000 of you just with my one hand. We are going to do a duel and only use our battle techniques.I will like to see how strong are your basic and give advice to improve yourself before month of October and face Heavenly G.o.d trial"

Hearing that Kai felt troubled"Headmaster.... You see... I don't know anything about battle techniques"

"Ah! What did you said?"asked Oliver thinking he must have heard something wrong.

"I have not practice any battle techniques"said Kai with embara.s.sment.

Oliver had a dull expressionless on his face as he look at Kai"A peak magic warrior stage Battle Archmage who don't know any battle techniques is this for real or am I dreaming"suddenly Oliver remembered it's only been three months Kai have become a battle Archmage and calm himself down.

"Did you not learn any battle techniques or art from Yami. Like not even the basic techniques?"

Kai shaked his head.

"So what have you been doing all these three month then"shouted Oliver in anger

Alina body trembled due to sudden shout of Oliver. I sudden outburst of angry was too shocking for her.

Facing Oliver questions, Kai only had a awakened smile on his face.

Seeing this Oliver sigh and calm himself as he look at Kai.

"Brother forgive me. Look like your family bloodline has no hope of surviving"looking again at Kai while taking out a book from his spiral ring and pa.s.sing it on to Kai.

"It's book is basic techniques of battle mage made by me.

In the given period of time you can only master this technique.If you are able to master. You can go to Library and look for any battle techniques you like. Go through it and practice it in the courtyard and you face any problem ask me".

Kai nodded and started reading the book.

The contents of the book has divided into body posture, body movement, fist and leg movement, footwork.

Kai one by one stared going through theory  and ask Oliver to demonstrate them to him so that he can see it in practical.

 Oliver didn't refuse and Kai watch Oliver movement as well as follow of magic carefully and started remembering them and stood up and try to copy Oliver.

Whenever he felt any doubt he asked Oliver without any hesitation.

Oliver who was watching Kai make improvements every minute in real time cannot believe that Kai never have practice and battle techniques.

"Is this guy lying or is it for real. No no no it must be true, his beforehand body posture and shabby body movement have improved and such magic flow control as he have been doing it for many years like a magic users and such all his sense. Kai is a born genius"

Ofcourse Oliver don't know that Kai have been living in forbidden forest for ten years where he fought with magic beasts. For for survival, Kai have developed his all sense. Kai may have lost his beforehand strong body but it remains all this experience of battle with magic beast and as a magic users, Kai have full mastery over control of magic flow in his body and with guidance and creator of the technique, Oliver and his his fully concentrated mind. Kai faced no problem adapting to basic battle techniques made by Oliver.

After three hours of noon stop practice and guidance of Oliver. Kai fully mastered the technique and his whole body has become stiff due to pain and his mental strength is already exhausted as he collapse as his body fully covered in sweat.

Alina who were watching him all this time run towards him and offer him some water.

While Olivir smiled and look at the sunset on the horizon.
