Getting back her composure, Xena surged her mana to prepare for battle.

Looking at the uneased expression on wendy's face, Dala chuckled a little with a playful smile before waving her arm a little to present a mountain loads of corpses from a black vortex.

She then waved her arm and slid a nail sized black crystal out, which git penetrated into Wendy's body at lightning speed and instantly incorporated into Wendy's core.

Looking at the strange changes occurring inside her body, Wendy tossed Xena aside, only to be engulfed by grey fire of high intensity shortly following it.

Her consciousness was fading slowly and her memories and soul were about to be sealed for eternity.

Once her consciousness was faded out and her merories were sealed, she Wendy would turn mindless, like any other undeads which could be found around.

And once her soul was sealed, her body could very well be controlled by the preparator only to be exploited against her will if preprators command insisted.

Just when her body was about to turn into a mindless undead, her energies surged violently and all her memories were scrolled at light fast to her despairing eyes.

" Is this my fate? "

" Am I going to face my end unjustly? "

" I just want someone to cherish me, Just one! "

" All my life... it's just dark, completely hopeless, even when I met my end while turning to undead, it was done unjustly! "

The black crystal had tried subduing Wendy, and break the link with Mark and act as a catalyst while Dala take control of her.

Little did Dala understood that her actions had thoroughly offended system.

Not only was her trick turned out for naught, she had received a heavy backlash which dropped her cultivator by a single realm, and almost twice of the stubbornly resisted it.

Listening to her cold orders, the undead started devouring their own kin, reducing their number drastically while increasing their auras as ordered.

While Dala had stepped out the scene to let go of Wendy for now, Mark was running crazily trying his hard to dodge the incomming blows from behind while devising a plan to survive out the predicament at once.

A tall female half mutant in silvery skin had caught up to mark, smacking him down to ground with an abrupt swing of her legs downwards.

Mark's body had sunken ten feet deep to ground, leaving an area of destruction around, which spread to half the small mountain he had crashed currently.

" This female half mutant! "

Mark cursed internally only to look at the horrifying figure which was more terrifying than the other half mutants around, who seemed to have gained some sentience.

She was completely naked, perfectly proportioned with a well developed body accompanying a beautiful face which was extremely charming to weak willed men.

The swaying white hair and white totems on her body has given her an other worldly aura which was no weaker than his own.

Even after being a half mutant, Mark was sure that she would had been a stunning beauty with just her current looks, which made him wounder how beautiful could she been if she weren't for one such he's running from.

" s.h.i.+t!! Traverse! "

Just an instance following which ten meteor like figures descended down to earth, cras.h.i.+ng over him with their large overgrown feet, quaking the earth while almost changing the topography of the mountain by rendering it flat.

By hair breath Mark had traveled to the other mountain present around barely managed to preserve his life earlier from being mulled by half mutant brutally.

One minute later.

One minute of chasing, and he mark had ended up with a huge mess.

Mountain range were devastated, and he mark was left in a wrenched state by the chasing group.

Lying over the ground in a deep pitted fissure, Mark was glancing over the flying figures who were looking down on him with scornful faces of satisfaction.

It was as if they were hinting him that his hope was gone and his chance to escape out had overed from now.

But at one corner of their encirclement mark could see n opening, a chance to escape but still this opening had made him rea.s.sess the capabilities of half mutants that were chasing after him.

" Intellect! How the f.u.c.k did they gained intellect this fast? "

Staring at the attributes of silver skinned lady mark was given a huge fright, as his reasoning turned out to be right thereafter.

Mark had figured out their doing, the clever tactic they had laid open for him to go fall in.

They were openly giving him a way before catching him defenseless and repeating the process to avenge they owner brutally. I.e, by mentally breaking down the hopes of target before killing him.

This was a clear act of Intellect, in other words they were completely planning to play him to death.

" Haha, since you are underestimating this mark, don't blame me later when this is proved fatal to your plan! "

Mark laughed internally before running towards the opening to wantedly fall into their plot.
