"How about you, Miss Su? Can you hear yourself talk? Aren't you the daughter of Chairman Su? The owner of Muebles Global? With your father's wealth, I believe your education was not so-so. But how come you are acting like a barbarian?" Half of Miss Teri's scoff can be barely seen underneath her mask.
Miss Su's face flushed red in embarra.s.sment when she understood what the couturier had said. She was expected to be well mannered and to be dignified. But she acted like an ent.i.tled brat in front of them. She would not admit to it though. Her pride would not let her do that. No. Never.
"Acted like a barbarian? I was waiting here but n.o.body approached to a.s.sist me. And then, this... This n.o.body suddenly walks in and she was immediately attended to? Tell me, did I act like a barbarian?" Miss Su retorted as she scanned w.a.n.g Reiji from head to foot once more, not giving care that what she had told them was a lie.
"I beg to differ, Miss Su. You just arrived split second before Miss Jing here. But you went straight to check the gowns on display. Where in Miss Jing approached us first and it just so happened that her scheduled meeting was already set."
"I am not talking to you. Know your place!" Miss Su threw daggers at the staff who she thought disrespected her by giving another version of her story.
"Enough! Let us deal with this like adults. I will attend to you right after I'm done doing business with Miss Jing. So for the meantime, can you please calm down and wait for us to finish? If you can, please continue to check the gowns out. And if you think you can't wait for your turn, I will have to bother my staff to escort you out so you won't be wasting your precious time here." Miss Teri took control of the situation since it was already taking much of their time.
"If my mother did not insist that I buy the gown I'll be using for the Oriental Europa's masquerade ball here, I would rather go to a different couturier!" Miss Su angrily slammed her b.u.t.t down the couch as she chose to wait for them to finish.
"Thank you, Miss Su." Miss Teri smiled at the woman before she turned her head to w.a.n.g Reiji and spoke, "Let's go Miss Jing. The gowns are already waiting for you."
"Sure! I am excited to see them."

"Welcome back, Master!" The seasoned manager of The Hideout instantly approached w.a.n.g Yuvin the moment he saw him walked in the entrance of the establishment.
However, w.a.n.g Yuvin did not reply to him. He instead gestured to the manager to follow him to the VIP lounge of The Hideout.
"The room modification is already done, master. If you want, you can use it now." The manager said as he closed the doors of the lounge behind him.
"I see. That's good news. How about the thing that I asked you to do for me?" w.a.n.g Yuvin sat himself down on the red-winged sofa and stared intently at the manager.
"Of course, master. I saved it here." The manager then handed w.a.n.g Yuvin a green thumb drive.
"Thank you. I will check the contents later. What's new? Any interesting happened here lately?" w.a.n.g Yuvin crossed his legs and comfortably laid his back against the sofa.
"Can you still recall the bunch of guys that you thrashed the night when you met Chairman Xu?" The manager moved beside w.a.n.g Yuvin and carefully whispered his answer to his ear.
"Honestly, no. They seemed irrelevant anyway."
"Haist, master. Did you know that they are dead serious in finding you? They have been asking every person here in the Hideout about you and your whereabouts."
"That is fine. Only you and Chairman Xu know my real ident.i.ty. Nothing much to fret about."
"Your ident.i.ty is safe, master. But I doubt about your friend's. Seems like they found out that your friend is a student from Jicheng Zhe University."
"Really? They took this long just to find that out?"
"I think they haven't asked help from their families yet."
"You mean to say that they are powerless without the aid of their families? Should I still bother myself with them when they don't have the power of their own? Must I still consider them as a threat?"
"In my own humble opinion master, it's better to be safe than sorry. I don't doubt your capabilities and influence, master. But sometimes, matters can get out of control and slip out from our grasps."
"You are interesting, Mr. Manager. Since you seemed very concern about my safety and my friend's. I shall entrust this matter to your hands. Just notify me when things suddenly become ugly." w.a.n.g Yuvin said as he stood up the sofa and walked straight to the VIP lounge's exit. The manager immediately followed after him.
Soon as w.a.n.g Yuvin stepped out of the exit of the lounge, he noticed a familiar figure of a female walking from the Hideout's main entrance towards the VIP lounge.
"Isn't she lovely, master? That's Chairman Kiang's only grandchild, Miss Kiang Leilei."
"Is Chairman Kiang a shareowner as well?" w.a.n.g Yuvin asked without taking his eyes off the lady.
"No, master. But his former son in law is. State Council Yun. So, probably, Miss Kiang is summoned here by her father. But I doubt the Chairman knows about this."
w.a.n.g Yuvin nodded his head as he watched Kiang Leilei ascended upstairs of the Hideout.
