Four suspicious looking men wearing black leather jackets stepped inside the elevator. It seemed like they barely noticed Gianna's presence for they were busy discussing among themselves. 

"That new owner must be favored by the G.o.ds." The last one to ride the elevator said.

"To think he escaped death and was even rescued by Chairman Xu himself. Indeed, the G.o.ds favor him." The guy in front of Gianna affirmed.

"Silence! Since when did the three of you become blabbermouths?!" The man who seemed to be the leader of the gang reached the breaking point of his patience and scolded his members.

'Amateurs.' Gianna thought to herself. The moment the four men entered the elevator, Gianna recognized that they were hired hitmen but they were still new to the craft. Aside from the typical black leather jacket, the men were drenched with a faint smell of spent gunpowder. As a trained a.s.sa.s.sin since the tender age of 10, it was easy for Gianna to identify a hired killer whenever she sees one. 

"Ding!" The elevator finally reached the ground level of the building. The four men hurriedly walked out of the elevator as soon as its doors slid open. In their hurry, one of the men b.u.mped into a frail old woman, sending the poor elderly to the ground. 

"Aiyo! My hips! I think I broke my hips." The old woman whimpered as she squirmed in pain.

"Watch where you are going!" The man who sent the old woman to the ground showed no remorse or even a hint of guilt in his eyes. He even glared angrily at the old lady as if it he was the one aggrieved. 

Gianna did not like how the man treated the old woman. Yes, she had killed people and she will probably kill more in the future. Her hands might be soaked in blood but at least they were not drenched by innocent bystanders or people who had nothing to do with her missions. 

With a sinister smile on her lips, Gianna thought of venting her sulky mood onto the man. She then quicky stepped outside the elevator and b.u.mped the man's back in purpose. Gianna even made sure that she hit the man's back hard. 

"What the?!" What Gianna did instantly angered the man but she did not mind and went straight to the old woman to comfort her. 

"Grandma, please calm down and stay put. Help is on the way. The guards are now moving towards us." Gianna smiled sweetly at the old woman in agony.

"Thank you, Sweet child." The elderly quickly thanked Gianna.

When the man who b.u.mped the elderly woman was about to flee the scene, Gianna stretched her foot causing the man to trip over and land hard on his face. The commotion made his three companions to look back and a.s.sess the situation.

"Watch where you are going, sir." Gianna uttered the exact words the man had said earlier to the old lady.

Utterly humiliated in front of many people, angered burst through the man's veins. He then stood up from his fall and grabbed Gianna by the arm.

"Miss!" The elderly woman cried, startled by the violence directed by the man to Gianna.

"You want to give it a go? Inside this lobby? Under five or more CCTVs?" Gianna's face did not show even the slightest fear.

"Enough! You already caused too much scene!" The guy who seemed to be the gang's leader reprimanded his member.

Hearing the other man's voice, the man who held Gianna by the arm released her right away.

As the man prepared to walk out of the scene, he fixed his jacket and an item which seemed like a photo dropped down from his jacket's pocket and landed beside Gianna's foot.

She quickly stepped onto the photo, provoking the man again. 

"Don't test my patience, b*tch. If you think I can't harm you, you better think again." The man started threatening Gianna. 

Unfazed by the man's words, Gianna bent down to pick the photo up. She then looked at the photo and was surprised to see that the person in it was none other than w.a.n.g Yuvin.
