The party ended with everyone looking happy and satisfied. The guests bid their farewell and thanked the Chairman again for the feast he prepared.

Chairman Qin and his son Sho ushered w.a.n.g Reiji in to their mansion's main door when Qin Rong suddenly approached the latter.

"Sis Rei! Can you please do me a favor before you leave? " Qin Rong pleaded using his best puppy eyes expression.

Chairman Qin and Sho stared at each other looking confused. What could this brat up to this time?

w.a.n.g Reiji smiled at Qin Rong then patted his right arm.

"What is it Rong? As long as I can do it, I'll gladly help out."

Rong's eyes immediately sparkle.

"You see... I designed the boat in the man-made lake and it was just constructed yesterday. I just wanted to know if it can accomodate two persons at the same time." Qin Rong explained while scratching the back of his neck.

w.a.n.g Reiji stared at him for a few seconds then retorted.

"So, you want me to get in the boat with you? "

Qin Rong chuckled as he shook his head in disagreement.

"I need to observe and take notes. Bro Sho is the one to accompany you. " Qin Rong gave his brother a meaningful eye contact as if telling Qin Sho to make use of the wonderful opportunity he created.

Qin Sho's mouth gaped open. Earlier he was cursing his younger brother for not doing the things he told him. However it turned out that Qin Rong had a better idea all along.

"Hmm I think Reiji's already tired. Maybe you should do that next time. Or you can test the boat with our people in it instead." Chairman Qin said.

"It's okay Uncle Luo. I'm not that tired and besides, I had plenty of rest earlier."

w.a.n.g Reiji answered politely while s.h.i.+fting her gaze to the lake.

"I also think that a boat ride seem nicer under the moonlight."

"I agree with you Sis Reiji! So, what are we waiting for? Let's go." Qin Rong exclaimed in delight.

Qin Sho, Qin Rong, and w.a.n.g Reiji walked their way to the lake while Chairman Qin went back inside the mansion.

The pathway leading to the lake was

illuminated by j.a.panese garden lanterns. Finally, they reached the dock, Qin Sho went inside the boat first. Afterwards, he a.s.sisted w.a.n.g Reiji.

"Whoa! Nice, it didn't sink yet! I mean it didn't sink." Qin Rong said happily.

"Now, you guys row your way to the other dock. I want to check if the boat is functional. "

Qin Sho's eyes opened wide. His younger brother is a genius! Initially he thought that Rong has a very low EQ and only knows how to brawl. But tonight his brother proved him wrong.

However, Qin Sho is really a gentleman, so before he started rowing the boat he asked w.a.n.g Reiji's opinion first.

"Reiji, are you good with Rong's suggestion? We can continue this another day if you don't feel like it."

Before w.a.n.g Reiji can give her answer to Qin Sho, her cellphone rang.

It's her italian a.s.sistant Gianna. However when she was about to pick up the call, the ringing suddenly stop.

"Sorry guys, but I think we have to continue this some other time. I need to discuss something urgent with my a.s.sistant in Italia."

Qin Sho felt somehow sad but more worried about the urgent matter that w.a.n.g Reiji needs to deal with. He wasn't able to contain himself and asked w.a.n.g Reiji.

"What's wrong Reiji? Did something happen in the west?"

w.a.n.g Reiji sighed deeply before answering Qin Sho's query.

"Something terrible happened earlier. Our mansion was attacked by an unknown group of people. But everything is good now. YuVin and Europa managed to escape and take shelter to Safe Haven."

The brothers gave w.a.n.g Reiji a startled look.

"You should have informed us earlier, Reiji. Hold on, let me call my a.s.sistant to aid the investigation." Qin Sho said with a worried voice.

w.a.n.g Reiji smiled bitterly.

"It's okay Sho, I can still handle the situation. No need for you guys to fret. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate your concern but I am not a helpless person."

Qin Sho nodded his head before giving his reply.

"We know how capable you are. But that won't stop us from getting worried. Also, we are not treating you as someone helpless. We just want to remind you that you don't have to face everything alone. You always have us to share your burdens with."

w.a.n.g Reiji was extremely touched with Sho's words that she got carried away and gave him a hug.

"Thank you, Sho. Thank you."
