After Qin Rong paid for their meal, they left the restaurant and head to Jicheng Zhe University to submit w.a.n.g YuVin's school doc.u.ments and enroll for the second semester.

Since it was the final stretch of winter vacation, there were no students in Jicheng when they arrived. Qin Rong suggested giving them a tour of the University to help w.a.n.g YuVin familiarize himself with the school.

From the registrar, they walked through a broad hallway. As they wandered the halls, w.a.n.g YuVin can't help but compare Jicheng to his previous university.

Jicheng's hallway was broad and bright. Its marble floors and white walls exude an atmosphere of n.o.bility and elegance. While the gold-plated crystal chandelier that hung in the ceiling declared allure and glamour.

"Amazing piece, right?" Qin Rong asked as he looked up the chandelier.

"Are they real diamonds?" w.a.n.g YuVin asked.

"Some say that those are fake, while some say those are real diamonds, the best cut diamonds." Qin Rong answered.

"What do you think?" w.a.n.g YuVin asked Qin Rong.

"I think those stones are fake. I mean, if they are real then the university should have been under constant threat because of them." Qin Rong answered as he folded his arms across his chest.

"I think those are real diamonds," Europa said as she looked up.

The puzzled Qin Rong stared at Europa and asked her a question.

"Really, sweetie? What made you say so?"

"Hmmm... because the white and colored light of the crystals sparkle radiantly. Only real diamonds can do that." Europa said as she carefully p.r.o.nounced every word.

Qin Rong furrowed his brows as he stared hard at the crystals. Europa's right, the sparkle they produced was indeed radiant, a dazzling s.h.i.+ne that only genuine diamonds were capable of. However, Qin Rong was not convinced but he became interested in Europa's a.s.sessment. He was about to ask her a question when an old man in red colored long gown changshan appeared before them.

"I'm amazed. You seemed to know diamonds very well, little girl." The old man said as he stroked his beard with his right hand.

"Greetings, Chairman Xu." Qin Rong said as he bowed his head down gesturing respect.

w.a.n.g YuVin and Europa also lowered down their heads to show their respect.

"I would like to introduce Chairman Xu, chairman emeritus of Jicheng Zhe Univesity." Qin Rong said as he introduced the elder.

"Chairman Xu, this is my friend YuVin and his niece Europa. I'm giving them a tour of the school." He added.

"Greetings, Chairman Xu." w.a.n.g YuVin said as he gestured respect.

"Welcome to Jicheng. You made the right choice, lad." Chairman Xu said with a smile.

"If you don't mind me asking, is your family fond of diamonds? It seems like your niece knows them well enough."

Chairman Xu added as his gaze s.h.i.+fted to Europa.

w.a.n.g YuVin paused for a while, he was having second thoughts about telling Chairman Xu the truth.

The reason why Europa knew a lot about diamonds, was because w.a.n.g DaiZhuo, their adoptive father, taught her everything she needs to know.

During his prime years, w.a.n.g DaiZhuo was an underground diamond dealer. When Europa was two years old, w.a.n.g DaiZhuo showed her his collection. The little girl then started liking diamonds and asked a lot of questions about them.

When she turned three, w.a.n.g DaiZhuo brought her to an underground auction house to play a game in which a diamond tiara comb was the prize.

The game was really easy. The partic.i.p.ant must correctly guess which diamond tiara comb was the most valuable. If the partic.i.p.ant got it correctly, the diamond tiara was his or hers to keep.

Surprisingly, Europa was able to tell which among the items was the most expensive. The dealer was so amazed that he willingly gave Europa all the tiara combs. However, because of those tiara combs, Europa was almost kidnapped.

"I think she learned it from the doc.u.mentary we watched last week." w.a.n.g YuVin was finally able to think of a plausible answer.

"I see. What a bright girl." Chairman Xu replied.

"Anyway, I have to go now. I still have a meeting to attend to. Please enjoy your tour and welcome to Jicheng." Chairman Xu added as he excused himself and headed toward the function hall.

"Really, bro? Europa watches doc.u.mentaries? Are you sure she's just five years old?" Qin Rong can't help but ask.

"I lied to Chairman Xu." w.a.n.g YuVin answered without batting an eye.

"Eh?" Qin Rong was dumbfounded.

"Well, I would be more willing to share the details... as long as you hand me my welcome gift." w.a.n.g YuVin said as they continue with the school tour.
