Five years ago, YuVin left Beijing with no plans of going back. He wanted to forget his past and establish a new ident.i.ty, a new life.

Five years ago, he was just a 16 year old naive country boy who lost his entire family to a fire accident. Until now, he can still recall how their small house burnt into ashes and how his parents and sibling screamed for help that never came. What made things worse was he wasn't able to do anything. When he arrived at the scene, the entire house was already engulfed by flames. He wanted to force his way in and try saving his family but the townsfolk stopped him and told him it was already too late to save them.

Five years ago, that very night when he lost his family, he was determined to end his life. How was he supposed to live now when he already lost his family? He should hurry up and die so he can reunite with them, right? Blinded by loneliness and fueled by depression, he picked up a gla.s.s shard from the remains of their burnt house. He was about to slit his throat when someone grabbed his hand and took the gla.s.s shard away.

He wanted to punch the person so bad but did not continue when he saw the person's face. It was his G.o.d-sibling, w.a.n.g Reiji. A warm feeling suddenly gushed into his body and tears started to roll down his face when Reiji hugged him tightly.

"YuVin? Are you still on the line bro?"

Upon hearing his sister's voice, YuVin snapped back to reality and immediately stopped reminiscing.

"Yes sis, I am still here. It's just that I kinda dislike the idea of going to Beijing. But I will trust your decision." YuVin said with a smile on his face.
