After reading Hanzo's message, Gianna sent a reply before turning her phone off and putting it back inside her coat's pocket. With a twisted smile on her face she said,

It was still dark when w.a.n.g Reiji woke up. Before getting out of the bed, she gave her sleeping daughter a quick peck on her forehead. She then gently patted her daughter's head as she stared at her with eyes full of motherly gaze.

"I love you, sweetie. Sorry that mama and uncle had to go to a war. It's just that your mama and uncle still can't let go of the past. Mama and uncle are deeply wounded and the only cure is revenge.
