Al was exhilarated. He had received a lot today.

First, his brain was finally starting to adapt to the Autopilot mode of SARS. Second, he got a message from his one and only crush. He also happened to kill a guild leader. Although it was mysterious and too much to process for him, he did not mind it anymore - a kill was still a kill.

Also, any minute from now, and Al will get to see Lidar, but most of all, he's excited to check the items he had looted from RockSalt. He quickly reequipped the gears of Nisha's Battle Station.

[Welcome back, Al Gentrix So Strong. I have a.n.a.lyzed the loots you have previously collected. There's a total of eight items. Check it out.] SARS immediately greeted Al.

[2x Instant Salve]

Although RockSalt had some healing potions with him, he was not able to use it. The game system deliberately designed a restriction on the usage of restoration items in the Open World. This was to avoid elongated battles. Users will be only allowed to do so, after twenty minutes of disengagement from combat.

[5x Rare-Type (Blue-colored label) Level 75 equipment: boots, gloves, headpiece, trouser, and shoulder.]

All of the equipment was currently unusable for Al's character.

[1x Crafted-Weapon (Silver-colored label)]

Al's eyes immediately s.h.i.+mmered at the sound of the final loot. A weapon. He quickly opened his pouch to investigate the item further. The good thing about crafted-weapons was that it has no level restriction.

It was a silver blood droplet encased in a gla.s.s tube, covered by a black cap. 'How could this be a weapon?' Al wondered.

[Formless Blood (Crafted-Weapon)]

Current Owner: Unknown

Previous Owner: RockSalt

Forger: StrayGear

Description: Forged from the blood of a formless G.o.d. Allows user to use different forms of weapon.

[Do you wish to equip it?]

Al seemed to run out of words. He was sure that RockSalt's weapon was named 'Spinal Thorn.'

'He's got another one? Let's see!'

[Yes.]

[The previous owner of the weapon has named it 'Spinal Thorn.' Do you wish to continue using the 'Formless Blood' by this name?]

'I see. So this was the reason why RockSalt could easily change the forms of his tentacles.'

'Hmmm. A formless blood...let's change your name into something more fitting.'

[You have decided to rename the 'Formless Blood' as 'Bloodborne.']

[Bloodborne equipped.]

[Adjusting the weapon's attribute, due to a change of owners.h.i.+p...]

[Adjustment Complete.]

Current Owner: Udil

Previous Owner: RockSalt

Forger: StrayGear

Description: Forged from the blood of a formless G.o.d. Allows user to use different forms of weapon. Due to a change of owners.h.i.+p, the current wielder may only use three forms (staff, flamberge, and bow). Reforge the item to unlock the next form - hammer.

Requirement: Dalaran's Skull.

"Wow! With this, I'll be able to have more choices for my skills!" Al grinned, after reading the description of his new weapon. "SARS! What's your say about this new weapon?"

[At the hands of a worthy wielder, it's an unstoppable weapon. However, if it falls to a weakling like you, it's nothing more than a decoration.] SARS bluntly replied.

( -_- )

"Seriously? I mean the 'Dalaran's Skull'? Where do we get that?" Al did not mind the mockery. He's excited to upgrade the weapon.

[I have no data as of now. I suggest that you exit this mode for now, and focus on rank games until I finish the Phase 2 a.n.a.lysis of the Open World.]

"I see. Understood. I'll meet up with Nisha first. I've brought so much trouble to him today. Also, I'll turn over this equipment as payment." He immediately opened the message notification from Yamasteh.

[Hi, Nisha! Apologies for the late reply! Thank you so much for helping me today. I'm well; I just took a lunch break with your brother hehe. Where are you now?]

[Hey, Big Brother! You took my prey away, haha. Brother had already informed me that you had killed RockSalt - accidentally. Hehe. No worries. We're back to the guild's headquarters now to prepare for an upcoming guild war, two days from now. I advise that you immediately stay away from Alistor City. Chat soon. Cheers!] Nisha quickly replied.

Al felt disappointed and lost. Lidar was already gone. 'Guild war? What the h.e.l.l happened?'

Udil hurriedly descended the stairs and left the establishment where he was previously hiding. Looking around, Alistor City was in shambles. Players were scattered in the street, some were in a celebratory mood, while the others were stricken with fear by the numerous corpses. Meanwhile, NPCs were busy rebuilding the damaged structures.

Looking around, one would see that yellow banners have replaced the grey ones. The guild, t.i.tans, was now the new overlord of Alistor City. 'Are they?' Al doubted. He immediately sprinted his way towards the main gate.

He was expecting to see the members of the guild, 'Predators' in the main gate. However, there was no one to be found. Players and NPCs safely pa.s.sed through the pa.s.sage.

Al grinned. He had never left Alistor City. Finally, he would get to see what it's like outside!

However, he immediately felt the fatigue in his body.

He was tired. The spur of the excitement of seeing Lidar was already gone. There's no more mental energy left for him today. "SARS, let's do some grinding, tomorrow. I'll call it a day. Thanks!"

[OK. Bye.]

...

Al was smiling when he took off the gaming helmet. He needs to recharge as soon as possible.

After saying his goodbyes, and leaving some curses for his best friend, Al made his way home. He still has an issue with his mom and school to deal with.

He whistled a good tune while strolling through the streets. However, when he was just a block away from his house, the scene before him made his blood wiggle.

Sophia was in his house's doorstep, talking to his mom.
