Twelve hours left before Alistor City's protection order ends.

In the Northern Gate of Alistor City, one would be able to see at least five-hundred players steadily marching toward the wall. They were filed in seven columns, with each one represented by a different color and banner.

Daaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The city's trumpet immediately blared. It was a deep and prolonged sound; a signal that marked the arrival of allies.

"The Seven Heavens have arrived!"

"The Seven Heavens are here!"

t.i.tans' guild chat was filled with similar announcements coming from those who were stationed in the northern gate of Alistor City.

"Good, tell them to proceed to their designated gates immediately and set up their defenses. The 1st Heaven will guard the south, 2nd and 7th will remain in the north, 3rd, and 6th to the west, and 4th and 5th to the east." Lidar immediately sent a series of commands in their guild chat. One could say that this guy was the master tactician of the guild, t.i.tans. "Scouts, any updates?"

"No movements here in Tundramere. Frozen Occident's guild members are casually strolling the city." A player named Long Slave reported.

"Same situation here in Draconic Ruins. No major movements from Black Osiris." Kappa reported.

"Same with Bermuda Trench. No major movements from Thriller Bark." PearlLair reported.

"No major movements from Jura.s.sic Cataclysm. I'm still here in their guild city, Guadalupe." Scouts.h.i.+eld reported.

"Same situation with the ThirteenFridays. They're still here in Frahim." GangSlang reported.

"Nothing major happening in Cappadocia. The Eternal Vespers are still here." Alucard reported.

Six updates regarding the situation of the Six Purgatories in their respective territories were immediately sent as a response to Lidar's inquiry in their guild chat.

"Thanks. Keep watch, and if there are still no movements an hour before Alistor City's protection order ends, the six of you should regroup with us here as soon as possible. We'll need every hand we could get. Stay alert, and don't get caught." Lidar advised.

"What do you think are they planning?" Lidar closed the chat icon in his interface as he immediately asked the golden-robed wizard that was standing beside him. The latter was holding a large brown wooden staff.

"I'm sure that their war declaration was not a bluff. However, there are also no movements from their subordinate guilds. So, let's just keep on a.s.suming the worst case, and continue in fortifying our defenses and ask for more allies. Have you contacted her yet?" DumbleBell responded.

...

WisDOOM immediately took a quick break after their long and arduous battle in the House of Euophrys.

Bertran's face was pale. He was a bit drained from the fight. Now that the match was over, his suppressed fear against the spiders finally kicked in. However, the MVP award that was lauded to him during the post-match results helped a bit in restoring his energy. After all, his summoned bear, Ursun, dealt the most damage to both the Spider Queen and King.

"Haha! Now, who's the real carry of this team?" The huge guy still managed to boast after taking off his gaming helmet.

"Dude, you're the tank." Harvy coldly destroyed his fantasy.

"Whatever. A carry tank then! Harvy?! How dare you disrespect an MVP, whose level is higher than yours?!" Bertran fought hard to defend his pride. "Hey, look who's got a new weapon!" His mood quickly changed as he suddenly pointed his right index finger towards Jack.

Aside from the bountiful experience that WisDOOM's members have received from the Spider King, the monster also dropped a weapon - a blue-colored bow, covered in orange fur with a st.u.r.dy silk material as its string. Its name was 'Arachnid's Bolt.' A rare type weapon, which was a notch better than the common-type bow that was previously equipped by Macca.

The grin could not be hidden from the exhausted face of Jack. He finally has something that was out of ordinary. "Haha! You have a new carry now. For our next match, the rest of you could just sit back and relax."

"What's the plan? We're in Bronze Rank now." Harvy reminded Jack.

SwitchFoot and Macca were currently at level seven and Bronze V rank. Meanwhile, Papa Bear and Udil were still at Rookie I, with the former at level eight and the latter at level eleven.

"I'm tired of this!" Out of nowhere, Patrick shouted as he forcefully took off his gaming helmet. His face was drenched in beads of sweat.

"Ooops! Looks likes we'll have to get Sol to add another air conditioning unit." Jack teased with a smile upon seeing the agitated face of Pat.

"Hey! Are you guys done already?" Osho suddenly shouted with a cheerful tone from Sol's station.

Pat just rolled his eyes upon hearing Osho's voice as he stood up from his gaming chair.

"Yes! How did Pat fare, Osho?" Al grinned as he came closer to his best friend.

"He's smarter than you." Osho grinned back.

"Haha! That's great news! Let's grab some lunch, first." Al smiled as he ma.s.saged his growling stomach.

...

The group went out of their workshop and ate some chicken teriyaki in an eatery within the nearby alley. Out of nowhere, Bertran suddenly told everyone that he'd be the one to pay the bills as a celebration of War Grounds' successful recognition of the true MVP. Without any hint of shame, the other four happily accepted the generosity of their teammate as they validated his bloating ego.

"So, what did you learn in your training, dwarf?" Bertran was the one who broke the silence amidst the focused mauling of chicken teriyakis in the round table.

"Nothing." Patrick coldly replied.

Osho coughed as if a chicken bone was stuck in his throat. He shot a disbelieving look towards Patrick. Who knew how many times had he already killed Pat as the latter seemed to be heartless in his feedback?

"He kept on talking about vibrations, vibrations, vibrations!" Pat animated with his hands that were holding slices of chicken teriyaki as he shared his sentiments.

"Haha! That crazy lesson again, Osho? Seriously?" Al shook his head. It seemed that he also underwent this training, under his best friend's tutelage.

"Your team is blessed to be able to learn that skill! It's an exclusive technique that should only be available to the wielders of katana! The two of you are a pair of ungrateful kids!" Osho's thick eyebrows twitched as he shot a disbelieving glance towards Al and Patrick.

"Haha! What's the name of that technique, again?" Al laughed as he dearly ridiculed his best friend.

"s.h.i.+nto-Ryu." Osho placed his chopsticks back on his plate as he crossed his arm. A lecture was coming.

"Stop. Let's finish the food first, then return to the workshop. We'll do the seminar there. Haha!" Knowing how pa.s.sionate Osho was with his swordsmans.h.i.+p in both real and virtual worlds, Al immediately stopped him from giving a lecture.
