"Hey are you planning on killing us?!" Yugao shouted at him.

"No, but regular fighting was taking too much time. Lets end it with a bang!" Saying so Jun's attacks left one more crater at Yugao's position where she had been moments ago , shouting at him.

"Fine then Jun, you asked for it." Itachi formed seals at high speed and released majority of his Chakra. Even Jun slanted the Staff against his body getting ready for Itachi's attack.

"Fire Style : Grand Fireball" Itachi jumped high up in the air and released a torrent of powerful flames right at the chest of giant. The power of the huge fireball sent the plant giant sliding back a few meters while flames covered it entirely.

While Jun dealt with flames, Yugao decided to target Itachi . By the time Itachi had finished his Jutsu , She had started hers. She jumped up and extended her hand to the right and gave a twitch to her blade, suddenly releasing a dozen blade revolving around her.

"My final Technique, Kenjutsu : Hazy Moon Night" all the swords released tens of attacks on Itachi who took out a Kunai in addition to his Chakra Blade and parried her attacks using Sharingan to barely tell her feints from real. Finally while parrying Itachi's Kunai was cut through. When Yugao thought she would win, a blade made purely of Chakra extended from Itachi's Chakra blade, resting against her artery that pulsed on her neck. She gulped in shock as her eyes shrunk in surprise.

'He his this attack this entire while to deliver a surprise attack. Deserving of the name Uchiha Genius' Yugao made a note of his ability in her mind.

"All right , I think we can successfully end this now." When Yugao and Itachi turned , they saw Jun standing next to Yak.u.mo.

"Wha?! .. How did .. You were inside that giant.." Yugao couldn't figure out.

"I have my Kekkei Genkai . I replaced myself with a clone long before I attacked you from inside that giant. In fact in a way that entire giant is my clone. My clone fought you from inside the giant while I teleported here with Flying Thunder G.o.d." Jun explained.

"Now, rest and recover a bit, as there is one final battle about to happen" Jun turned towards Yak.u.mo "Yak.u.mo will try and put us all into Genjutsu and we will fight it."

Yak.u.mo nodded "Yes, you all should rest as much as possible. Ou will need your full strength."

After a few minutes when they had caught their breath, Jun gestured Yugao to start. Initially Jun couldn't figure out anything , but then he realized the changes when Yugao and Itachi started showing various expressions.

Itachi's Genjutsu World

Itachi opened his eyes to see that he was lying down under shade of a thick tree on the edge of forest. Feeling something soft below his head , he turned and saw a brown haired pony-tailed girl smiling down at him while running her fingers through his hair. Itachi sat straight suddenly when he saw this. He was sure he was in a Genjutsu, but he didn't feel anything strange; It all felt so nice and peaceful.

"What happened Itachi?" the girl asked with a concerned expression . Itachi focused on her startled as he recognized her.

"Izumi ?" Itachi called out in surprise "Why are you here?"

"Why shouldn't I be? When else will you meet me if not after our cla.s.ses ?" Izumi smiled shyly at him "You are always busy in your training otherwise, this is the only time I get for us. You know , just because I am understanding and don't complain doesn't mean that you can take unfair advantage of that and ignore me Itachi"

"Ah … Umm .. I am sorry ." Itachi didn't know what else to say to that. He had always known she had been attracted to him ever since he saved her during the Nine Tails incident when they were kids. She fought for him when the other kids ostracized him for his aloofness and lone wolf att.i.tude and his quick learning speed. He respected her for maintaining her cheerful att.i.tude despite going through a lot because of being a Half - Uchiha. Before the mission where he met Jun , he had even felt inferior to her as she had woken up her Sharingan even before him , causing her to be the point of even more discrimination for awakening Sharingan before the Uchiha heir. But he always remembered that awakening Sharingan was not all that fun. If it was her choice then she would rather not go through the reason which made her awake her Sharingan. Itachi knew what she meant now, almost losing his friends did make him awaken his Sharingan but if he had a choice he would prefer going through the same boring D rank missions than having lost them like this.

"Where are you lost Itachi?" Izumi asked waving her hand in front of his face .

"Nothing, was thinking about what you said to me while consoling me about awakening Sharingan. Now that I have gone through an awakening of my own makes me realize you were right. It is both a curse and a gift, these eyes of ours."

"You awoke your Sharingan Itachi ?" Izumi asked excited "Show me !!"

Itachi smiled and sent a strand of chakra to his eyes. But he felt something weird as his eyes didn't respond to it apart from the chakra being dispersed after being in his eyes for some time.

"Itachi? Umm… you sure you have awoken Sharingan?" Izumi asked, concern marking her voice "I cant see anything changing here in your eyes."
