Mirai is now confused. She furrowed her brows hearing things she just heard of today. She didn't believe supernatural events like this before but after she became a soul, she slowly believed in those things. She didn't know that everything she knew we're just the tip of the iceberg.

"There are many ways to let her return to her body. First is to remove the original occupant of her body. Now that her original soul is here floating before us, that means the soul of that person occupying her body is a fake and might be a high probability of a monster."

"Wait, so if her body undergoes the change, will her soul get affected too?" I asked Asuza.

"Yes. Her link with her body would be slowly detached as time goes by. Once the fake establish his or her soul to her body completely, she would never be able to return back to her body."

Mirai almost cried in tears hearing that but since she is a soul, crying is impossible and she can only display her grief instead.

I pondered a bit who is Inumaru. But I quickly remembered who it was. Inumaru is the guy who owns the t.i.tle of the Dog Councilor. And Tsukoyomi is his disciple? Talk about coincidence.

"Still, if you can't wait anymore, defeating the fake would be the most and highest chance you will recover your body back. I can help you if you want then? Even though I am not really an expert on it, " Asuza said but then, Mirai quickly stopped it.

"Thank you, princ.i.p.al, but I will work it out for now without the help of you guys. You just said that this Inumaru and Tsukoyomi is an expert. I think it's much better if I made contact with them."

"Well, if you really want to, we can ask them, " Asuza said and pulls out her phone.

Mirai whispered at me as she glances at Asuza. "Is she really reliable?"

"Rest a.s.sured. She is one of the strongest people I know. She knows her stuff."

Asuza is typing a few more times on her phone before she typed the last letter.

"And everything is done. According to Inumaru, Tsukoyomi will be coming over here tomorrow. He also said that you two needed to find her body now."

"We will find my body after school, " Mirai said.

"No, I suggest you take off the afternoon and besides, students are a.s.signed to self-study for now so it's not wrong to go home early. Find her body and take a close look at her body's schedule, routines and other things she does every day. That way, we can plan our way to take back the body again."

"Are you sure we won't get in trouble on that?" I asked.

When Asuza heard it, she paused and looked seriously at us. "The latent power of her body is being transmitted to her. From my guess, Mirai has the largest probability of awakening as a magician. However, before she can awaken fully, the ent.i.ty might be the one that caused her accident causing her body to separate. Since she is in the middle of awakening, her soul managed to get an ample amount of mana. This would also explain why she can go far from her body without disappearing completely."

"Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean that I am close to awakening?" Mirai asked as she cast a confused looked on Asuza.

"That means that you are not an ordinary human too. You are a potential Magician too. Good Job on the find Kazuma. We need to save this girl from the body occupant and let her reunite with her body. And once she awakens fully, I will take you as an apprentice. Now go, Kazuma. Time is running and the enemy might be already working for a way to cut her body and her soul a tie."

Before Mirai can answer, I dragged her out of the office.

I run past a few of the students in the hallway. And even though I heard a few shouted "No running in the hallways, I didn't bother listening and continue to drag Mirai out. I go back to the cla.s.sroom and pick up my bag as fast as I can.

"Kazuma? Where are you going?" Erina asked as she saw me dashed straight to my chair and desk and cleaned up all of my items back inside the bag.

"I will be heading off early."

Before Erina can talk, I already left the cla.s.sroom at a lightning speed. Erina was left flabbergasted that the pen in her hand fell into the floor while her mouth is wide open.

Originally, these magic were Volta's skills but after I managed to see the process of him doing it, I managed to copy its entire process and use it for myself. I don't even know how I managed to do it but I guess it's just a fluke that I managed to learn the skill.
