Chat Group For Magicians Chapter 154 Awakening Of Mirai

"Hey, have you heard about that guy named Kazuma? He is much scarier than those delinquents!"

"I didn't know about it since I was absent but did he literally defeat a whole bunch of them? What did the teachers do to stop the fight?"

"No one did! Actually, it was already weird why there are no teachers and guards to stop the event but even so, that Kazuma ended up defeating even an underground fighter!"

"Scary..."

"Still, you shouldn't say it outside the school and let it remain as a legend in this school because I heard that if someone tried to release it outside, you will befall a very bad luck. Obviously, I heard them talking about me already a few meters away but I didn't mind it. It is a good thing for me though because they know now that I am not someone to be messed with. The only thing I am worried about is this punishment that they are talking about. This punishment seems to occur only whenever they tell it outside the school. Does this mean it is now a curse or something? But I am not really sure what this was.

Still, these rumors are still spreading around like wildfire and my reputation is getting notorious. In cla.s.s, except for Erina who still keeps on getting in touch with me, no one else wanted to even talk to me.

When cla.s.s was over, I decided to take a bit of checking around the place for any kind of disturbance but nothing is happening. While doing some surveying, I suddenly receive a call from Moonlight via the chat group's call method.

"h.e.l.lo?"

"Kazuma, the soul of the girl that you brought here last time is already awake. She is looking for you."

"Mirai is awake? Did she have some sort of difficulties on her soul or something?"

"Raigaki is still checking on her. I have no idea about what she was feeling right now though since I haven't had the chance to ask her. They are still inside the room with Rena restraining Raigaki at the moment but if they have something that they can find out, then I will inform you on- wait, the two of them are out. I will pa.s.s the call to them then," Moonlight said.

"Okay."

The phone seems to shake a bit on the other line before I heard Rena in the other line.

"h.e.l.lo, Kazuma? I am going to be the one doing the talking because Raigaki is (Not well) at the moment. Can you go to the s.h.i.+buya Underground Mall? There are some things that we needed to get at the moment for Mirai's recovery. Can you do that?"

"I am free at the moment so tell me what are those things."

"You don't need to pay for these items okay? I already paid for it and you just need to pick them up. Go to a stall named Kins.h.i.+and pick up the red incense and Talisman of Afterlife I ordered there. Just show your fireball magic to the store owner and he will know it that you are a magician."

"Wait, that sounds like I am extorting someone by doing that."

"No worries, you can do it without any problem."

"Oh, okay then. But is Mirai okay now?"

"Her soul is not that stable but she can still exist in this world for a few more months. But her ties with her body are now in a very vulnerable stage so if we would let her remain just like that, she would perish eventually. So take haste Kazuma and bring those two items I just mentioned.

"Alright then. s.h.i.+buya Underground mall right?"

"Good Luck Kazuma. Don't get into trouble with them."

"Huh?" I was about to ask her what she was about to say but she cut off the call. I frowned hearing this since it is cryptic and I suddenly felt some sort of ominous event going to happen on me. However, I decided to just let it go. Maybe it was just a cryptic remark from Rena.

"Umm, Rensan, why did you say to Kazuma to avoid trouble with them?"

"Those guys on the shop are always with trouble from a few factions of magicians that are trying to recruit them on their side. If Kazuma were to go in there, he would definitely be attacked in there."

"Wait, what? Different factions of magicians? You let Kazuma go to a very dangerous place for us?"

"Kazuma lacks training and if we wanted Kazuma to get stronger, he needs a lot of experience, I am just doing this for his own growth and not my growth. He can be a good sparring partner of those people on the Underground s.h.i.+buya Mall."

Raigaki wriggled out of his restraints from Rena but the latter just glared at him causing him to stop abruptly and s.h.i.+rk away from her stare. Raigaki tried to look away but Rena pulled him again and stare at him.

"You struggling again? I already allowed you to get into the silent treatment I have given to you but you ruined it again when you tried to flirt on Mirai. It is already natural to let you experience it again." Rena said and dragged Raigaki.

"Uh... Why go so far on letting Kazuma experience different kinds of danger? Shouldn't he just remain in his mission for now?" Moonlight asked.

Rena looked at me and sighed. "Let's just say that is my way of helping him develop his sixth sense a little bit better. He will need it in the future. I want him to develop it as early as possible because we are needing it in the very near future."

Moonlight was confused on what Rena just said and left there pondering on what she just said to her. On the other hand, Raigaki is already squirming to get away from Rena's shackles but left him helpless. From the looks of it, Raigaki still needs to live his life as mute for a few more days.

Underground s.h.i.+buya Mall is quite famous for being located underground. There are also different items being sold here for everyone and for the tourists that came in j.a.pan for sightseeing or just for visitation purposes. I never expected that you can find a stall around here that allows magicians to buy a few item necessities. I kind of expect that they will be just similar to a shady merchant store but when I located the Kins.h.i.+ store, I realized that it was an ornament shop and accessory shop. It has a gloomy atmosphere too which made me feel uncomfortable to enter. It was like the stall is shouting for me to get away from the place. It was a kind of instinct of mine but I didn't bother to listen to it. If I didn't enter, Mirai might get endangered which is troublesome.

I steeled my nerves and started walking towards the stall. Just as I was getting into the main entrance of the shop, a few people wearing robes appeared and glared at me. Their gazes are much more horrifying than those gazes done by delinquents. It was like they are not ordinary people either. One thing is sure...

They are Magicians!

No one is around in the area which means this place is in another dimension. I can't believe another batch of magicians are now the new people trying to deal a piece of me. Am I that charming or what? Still, this isn't the time for me to keep on admiring myself.

"What do you guys want?!" I ready myself to cast my fireball out. I could either run and escape or fight and face them. 

"You managed to find this place, therefore, you must be here to purchase something in this shop, correct or it was the other way around?"

"I came here with an errand. I don't have time to deal with you crooks on whatever things you are cooking up in there. Let me get inside!"
