Dragon's Heart 12 Chapter 12: Takeo, Nina, And Akihiro Vs Bahamut, Their All-Out Attack

Bahamut laughed and said, "You three? You're nothing more than Fledglings who just learned how to walk". "This fight is far above your level", he teased. Takeo smirked and said, "We'll see about that". Takeo summoned his wings and launched towards Bahamut. "Good, you didn't lose heart, at least you have some b.a.l.l.s, unlike the others cowards I've faced", Bahamut said with a smirk on his face, getting into a fighting position. Nina hesitantly flew off at Bahamut as well.

Once Takeo got close enough, he disappeared in a burst of fire, reappearing behind Bahamut. "You seriously think that'll work on a veteran Dragonkin like me", Bahamut said, Elbowing Nina, who came up for a surprise attack, in the stomach. Bahamut spun around, kicking Takeo in the face and faced Nina. He then hit her with a barrage of punches, all of which she couldn't defend against. "Little lady, you're way out of your league in this fight, so stay out of it" Bahamut said as he Uppercutted her. Takeo opened his wings wide to stop himself and dashed back in to help his friend. Fire formed around his fist. "Blazing Dragon Fang" ,Takeo punched him with a fiery fist, causing a explosion. This attack was easily stopped by Bahamut simply counterintuitive with his own Dragon Fang attack. When the two attacks clashed, Blue energy and fire erupted from their colliding fists.

Takeo poured out more power to push back but Bahamut's power overwhelmed him, slamming Takeo in the ground. Bahamut stood above him, laughing. "This is all the legendary Dragonkin Royal lineage has to offer", he exclaimed. "How unfortunate for your friends to be here to watch you die", Bahamut said raising his hand in the air. Just as Bahamut charged energy into his hand and was bringing it down onto Takeo, a flash of light flew in and Bahamut was kicked in the face. It was Akihiro, who was waiting in the background trying to figure out his power. Finally, a clean hit on this monster of a Dragonkin.

But even this direct hit did little to him. Bahamut said, completely unfazed by the attack, "Took you long enough to join us, Light Boy". "What?!", Akihiro exclaimed. "Not even a scratch or any sign of pain, d.a.m.nit", Nina said. Bahamut grabbed Akihiro's foot and slammed him into the ground, leaving a crater. Bahamut chuckled. "Storming Dragon Demolition Claw!!" Nina roared as claws made of wind formed from her nails. Bahamut dodged the attack in which Nina followed up with Storming Dragon Jetstream Talon, kicking up a powerful stream of wind up towards Bahamut floating in the sky. Bahamut disappeared and the attack flew into the fire filled gray skies. Nina sputtered, "W-w-what was that movement?". Then Bahamut appeared in front of her with a ball of energy in his hand held up to her stomach. Nina gasped and Bahamut smiled, saying "Goodnight, Wind Girl". A almost instantaneous laser blast shot through her stomach, leaving a brutal hole in her stomach. Nina staggered back before she began to tilt back and fall. "NOOOO, Nina, d.a.m.nit!!!" , Takeo shouted as he ran to catch her. "You let your guard down , fool", Bahamut said as he Mystic Moved next to Takeo and punched him to the ground. (Mystic Move is the Dragonkin's way of moving extremely quickly in a short distance. They move in an almost teleporting kind of way).

Takeo sat up and looked at Nina, who is now lying on the ground, holding her stomach, breathing hard and irregularly. He then looked up at Bahamut, whose eyes glowed with an azure maliciousness. Bahamut smiled and said, "this has been pretty boring, so I'll end it". He held his hand out towards Takeo, a orb of energy formed in his hand. Takeo, realizing this might be the end of him, said in his mind, "I'm sorry guys, Rose, Melanie, and I'm really sorry, Mom". Then Bahamut's arm was grabbed, dispersing the blast that was forming in his hand. Bahamut turned to the person and his eyes widened. "Ah, so it's you, the Red Storm", he said to them.
