Dragon's Heart 25 Chapter 25: The Worst Person To Save Takeo, Kamilah Returns

"Ugh", Sarah said as she carried a poisoned Takeo through the night-fell city. "Am...I...too heavy?", Takeo asked with a weakened voice. "A bit", Sarah replied. Takeo, after a while, began to move and said to Sarah, "hey, I think I can move a bit now, let me down". Sarah stopped and propped him up on her shoulder. They walked down towards a convenience store. "Ugh, I need to get a few things at the store, will you be fine here outside by yourself?", Sarah asked. "I'm the Dragonkin Prince, I'll be fine", Takeo proclaimed confidently. "That confidence of yours, I swear", Sarah said giggling as she walked inside, leaving Takeo leaning on a light post. A few minutes pa.s.sed and Takeo was able to walk on his own. "While I still feel the poison running through me, the bodily pain is going down enough for me to move around pretty good", Takeo said to himself. Then he smelled something in the air. "Smells like...", Takeo said sniffing, "Dogs!!! Werewolves!!". Takeo tried to turn and run to the store, but he still couldn't properly enough to move fast. Then Takeo was surrounded by werewolves.

"Hey, I heard the Dragonkin that beat up our buddies was around here", said the alpha, "Now, there ain't any other Dragonkin around here 'cept you, so are you him?". Takeo, nervously smirking, said, "i don't know, are there any other Dragonkin as charming and handsome as me?". "Well, someone's sounding c.o.c.ky, considering you look like someone whose finna keel over any second", said a female werewolf, "how about I speed it up". As she said that, she launched towards Takeo, clawing at him. Takeo dodged, staggering as he weaved and dodged. Unfortunately, Takeo's reflexes and speed is still greatly hindered. Takeo got sliced by her claws then she punched and kicked him, knocking him around and slamming him into buildings. Takeo, after getting thrown into a car, got up and tried to shoot fire out of his hands, but nothing happened. Takeo's eyes widen, "No, the d.a.m.n poison is blocking my energy flow". "Aww, is this the power you used to beat those others? I thought you'd at least make this fun for me", she said. She then grabbed him by his hair and c.o.c.ked back her fist. "now, pack your things, cuz you're going on a long flight, and don't worry, you'll be napping the whole time, so it'll go by quick", she said.

Takeo couldn't do anything, the poison made him practically powerless. She launched her punch. But she stopped, something flew by and struck her. And struck her again and again. Suddenly she was getting blitz by a streak of lightning. This lightning bolt struck the others rapidly and over and over. Then it flew up into the sky and came cras.h.i.+ng down. A explosion of lightning blew away the werewolves, knocking them unconscious. The bolt of lightning was none other than Kamilah. "Stupid dogs, this is my prey", she said. "K... Kamilah, w-why-", Takeo began to ask. "Don't get the wrong idea, I just wanted to beat your face in myself", Kamilah said with a sinister grin as she c.o.c.ked back her fist. "Kamilah, wait, I can't fi-" Takeo said before Kamilah's fist slammed into his face, slammed his head into the ground, making a crater. "I... can't fight, Kamilah", Takeo said. But, she barraged him with flurry of lightning fast punches. "What, can't fight someone who's stronger than you?", she said. "N...no, i mean I'm unable to", Takeo said as he got beat down. "Making excuses now?" Kamilah said c.o.c.kily.

She then noticed that not only was he not fighting back or even blocking, but that his energy flow was gone. This made her stop. "Y.. you're not lying, are you?" she asked. "O-Of course not, I would've eagerly engaged you otherwise", Takeo said sitting up. Takeo explained the situation to Kamilah. Then he realized that Sarah wasn't came back yet. "Wait, Where's Sarah?!", he shouted. "What, you mean your edgy girlfriend that's always with you? I haven't seen her", Kamilah replied. "She's not my girlfriend", Takeo said as he got up and limped over to the store door and looked in. Sarah was nowhere in sight and it looked like a struggle happened. "d.a.m.n, I was afraid something would happen", Takeo said, "What can I do? I'm far too weak to go and find her with all these d.a.m.n werewolves around". Kamilah walked up and nonchalantly asked, "What? Can't find her?". Takeo looked at Kamilah and clenched his fist at a thought that he had. "Tch, I have no choice now", he said to himself. "Hm?", Kamilah walked up to him. After a pause, Takeo asked Kamilah, "Will you help me find Sarah?"
