Dragon's Heart 29 Chapter 14: Dracula Has Awaken, Goodbye Takeo

"Sarah", Takeo said after a while. Sarah looked at him. "Before we continue on, I want to know something". "What more you wanna know", she replied. "I want to know if you're truly committed to this, that there'll be no doubt or regret in mind once this is over", Takeo said. Sarah looked him in his eyes, "I've mulled over this for a long time. I've made my decision to protect this world, even if it means killing my demon of a father", she said. "You better be ready to face the pain of killing your own father too", Kamilah added on. "I'll handle it", Sarah replied. Takeo walked and put his arm around her shoulder, "and if you can't, I'll be there to carry it with you", he said smiling at her. She smiled back.

The three trekked through the castle's outer sections, checking room after room. Takeo asked Sarah, "I heard you mention something about your brother waking up a while back". Sarah replied, "oh you heard that. Yeah I'm looking for my brother, he was last sleeping in the outer sections of the castle". Kamilah paused then said, "If you're Dracula's daughter, then the brother you're talking about is...". Sarah nodded, knowing what she was saying. "Alucard", Takeo said, continuing Kamilah's sentence. Takeo smiled, "cool, I get to meet the infamous Alucard". Sarah smiled and shook her head at his childishness. Then a violent wave shook the castle. The three stopped, as they all felt a tremendous and terrible energy coming towards them. "This energy, it's huge", Kamilah exclaimed. "And heading here fast", Takeo shouted. Sarah stood froze. "It-It can't be him", Sarah hesitantly said. Suddenly a black and red ma.s.s of mist appeared in front of them. The mist looked the Devil himself. "Ah, my lovely beautiful daughter, you've grown into a beautiful woman just like your mother", the mist said. "F-Father!!", Sarah said. "That's Dracula?!", Kamilah said. The mist looked at Takeo. It sensed the poison inside him. "Now, my daughter, come and join your father as we avenge your mother's death", it said. "By setting the world on fire?!", Sarah replied. "I'll never join you, I love this world and unlike you, I won't let my mother's death be an excuse to kill people, especially innocent people who had nothing to do with it", Sarah shouted. Dracula looked at her and said, "hmm, and just like your brother, so rebellious". Dracula looked back at Takeo, "maybe you need some motivation". He raised his hand towards Takeo and Takeo was lifted into the air. "Father no!!!", Sarah shouted. Dracula then made poison inside Takeo spread and worsen. Black vein-like lines spread across his body as he felt excruciating pain. Takeo screamed in agony. Dracula then raised his other hand and lifted Kamilah into the air. He then began to choke her. "Join me or they die", Dracula said in a demanding voice. Sarah grabbed onto Dracula and shouted, "okay okay fine, I'll join you, just let them go, please let them go". Dracula looked at Sarah crying and dropped Takeo and Kamilah. "Good, now let's move along so we can prepare", Dracula said. A portal opened behind Dracula. Takeo sat up, "Sarah, don't we can find another way to stop this madness", he shouted. Sarah turned to Takeo as she stepped into the portal, "I'm sorry Také, I wish there was but I can't see you get hurt anymore", she said with a soft and sadden voice. "Wait!!!", Takeo shouted. Before the portal closed, Sarah softly said, "Goodbye Takeo".
