"A business proposal?" Xie Yuansheng smiled at Feng Xinying. She truly acted like a spoiled child.

"Okay, let's hear it," he said and crossed his arms across his chest as he leaned back I his chair.

Feng Xinying said, "I have the details back at home. I can talk about it tomorrow." She wasn't ready to talk about it that time without the numbers in front of her.

Xie Yuansheng's smile broadened. He said, "Okay I will wait for tomorrow."

She nodded and started to leave when he called her again, "Feng Xinying, since you are still my head secretary, you have to perform those duties for now."

Feng Xinying thought that she would go home after telling him that she can't be his secretary. But when she heard him, she gritted her teeth. He wouldn't let her off so easily. She turned and asked, "What do you want?"

"Get me some coffee and also the file on Oulang project. In case you don't know about that project, I will let you know," said Xie Yuansheng.

Feng Xinying blew out hot air from her mouth and went out to make coffee for him. After that she went to her desk to pick up the relevant file and went inside his room. Meanwhile outside Yun Chen was watching her every move. She called her mentor in the company. She knew that her mentor would take care of Feng Xinying in a way that she would never even look back.

"Madam, there is a new bird in the office and she is trying to get very close to the CEO," complained Yun Chen to her.

"Who is getting close to him?" she demanded the name fiercely.

"There's this new entrant called Feng Xinying madam," replied Yun Chen becoming scared of her cold voice.

There was a slight pause at the other end and then she said, "What is she working as?"

"Madam, the CEO has made her his head secretary. But you had promised me that you would make me his head secretary," whined Yun Chen.

There was a long pause at the other end and then she said, "I will be there in next half an hour," and the phone disconnected.

Yun Chen smiled and looked at the vacant seat of the head secretary. Then she turned to Xia Lin and giggled, "Wait till that Feng Xinying meets the madam. Hehe, now she will know who is she dealing with." Xin Lin giggled with her. Satisfied at her next move, Yun Chen went to her desk and started looking at her computer screen.

Inside the office, Feng Xinying had kept the cup on his desk. He was talking to someone on the phone and signaled her to go and sit on the sofa. He ended the call after five minutes and joined her. "Did you get the Oulang file?"

"Yes," she said and extended the file for him to take a look.

"Open the first page," he said.

She was taken aback. She took it back on her lap and opened the first page.

"Read it," he said looking at her blank expression.

The page had a business proposal about setting up a software joint venture company with the Feng Corporation. She looked at it and was quite impressed by the way it read. She became engrossed in it while reading it. It was so perfectly detailed that she thought that she became enticed with it. She would have called the Oulang Corporation and okay the project then and there.

"Open page number seven. They have written some numbers there. Read them out to me," he interrupted her.

She opened it and started reading them, but soon found that she didn't understand anything about them.

"Do you have a pen?" he asked.

"Yes," she replied.

"Make notes in there:

- Unless Oulang Corporation reduces their number of shares to twenty percent, we will not partic.i.p.ate in it.

- Also tell them that the technology that they will provide will become exclusively ours. They will not be allowed to disclose it to any other company.

- I do not like the office size they are asking for. Ask them that we need a bigger s.p.a.ce.

- They should allow as many as six people on their board of directors from our company.

- They should revise their overall plan and send it back if they want to consider a joint venture.

Feng Xinying made all the notes diligently. Then she realized that she had not even told him half of the points that he had already mentioned. Did he memorize the entire proposal? Or was he trying to impress her by showing how well he remembered all the points? Well, he is the CEO. He has to remember all the things. If I become one, I will also remember them.

She looked up at him with wide eyes and found him having the coffee. The foam of the coffee had spread over his upper lip. She moved to the side to pick a tissue paper and give it to him, when she heard the door open and an elegant young lady wearing blue skirt and a blue blouse that hugged her body parts s.e.xily, entered the office.
