Sugar And Spice: The CEO's Feisty Wife Chapter 429 - Feng Xinying's Thoughtful Approach

When Xie Yuansheng woke up the next morning, he saw that his wife was still curled up beside him. He kissed her forehead and a smile was formed on his lips when he remembered her acting like a baby a few hours later. He looked at the clock in front of them and saw that the time was 11AM in the morning. Quickly, he got out of bed and went to take a shower. He left Feng Xinying sleeping because she must have been extremely tired. He didn't want her to get exhausted now.

He went downstairs and after instructing the chefs to prepare a healthy meal for Feng Xinying, he left for the office. All day he had meetings and there were too many projects that had to be overseen. Even though he was extremely busy throughout the day, all he wanted was to go and meet the new comer in his family, Xie Rong. So when the clock struck 6PM, he dashed out of the building and went to the hospital.

Little Xie Rong didn't trouble her parents for the first few hours but it was after 12PM that she wanted to be fed. She would cry a lot and when she wasn't able to bear her hunger, she could start sucking her fist. Keira was a new mother. The nurse taught her how to feed her baby. The best part was that her daughter would instinctively grab her n.i.p.p.l.es and start sucking the milk and when her stomach filled, she would doze off. For both Xie Shengjun and Keira, this was such a new and thrilling experience that even though they were very tired, she loved watching her. 

Xie Shengjun had become mad for his daughter. He loved to touch her soft cheeks and soft black hair that adorned her head. She was so white and pet.i.te that he wanted to protect her, hide her from the world. So as soon as Keira would finish feeding her, he would immediately go and take Xie Rong from her and keep her in his arms. 

By the time it was evening, Xie Rong had perhaps identified her father's lap. She would not cry when she was with him and would cry when she needed her milk. That was the only time she needed Keira and rest of the time she was with her father. Xie Shengjun was already proud of the fact. 

When Xie Yuansheng came in the evening to visit Xie Rong, he had ten balloons with him and a huge bouquet of flowers. As soon as the driver stopped the car for him to get down, a few netizens clicked pictures of the CEO of the Feng Conglomerate with balloons and flowers. Immediately they were posted on the social media with captions like,

[Has his wife delivered a baby?]

[Do we see another out of marriage nurse or doctor romance?]

[Poor Feng Xinying, she is really pretty. It is a pity that her husband is getting a new girlfriend.]

There were thousands of comments and soon the post became viral.

It was Cai Xin who reported the post to Feng Xinying. 

Feng Xinying was waiting for her husband to come. It was pretty late in the evening and he hadn't come, so she thought of calling his office. When she talked to Cai Xin, she came to know about the post. Feng Xinying was aghast at the way the social media blew. So she called Xie Yuansheng.

"Where are you right now?" she asked to know his location. 

"I am sitting with older brother and Keira. We are watching Xie Rong," replied Xie Yuansheng as if they were watching some football match between two countries. 

"Stay right there and don't move. I am coming," she replied.

"No, Xinying. Don't come. You are already so exhausted. You can meet Xie Rong once Keira is back home," said Xie Yuansheng getting worried about her.

"I am already on way Shengu, so just stay there. Both of us are going to come back home together, okay?"

Xie Yuansheng rolled his eyes at his wife. If she had decided on something she would do it. So he said, "Okay," and the two brothers continued to watch the little baby. 

Suddenly the baby opened its mouth and yawned. The brothers became so excited. "She is yawning! Keira look, she is yawning!" Keira rolled her eyes. The two noisiest people, who had somehow made this room their abode, were irritating her. 

Xie Yuansheng immediately took his phone out and clicked a photo of Xie Rong yawning away. There was complete silence when the baby stopped yawning and the two of them again waited for her next movement. Suddenly she smiled. "Keira!"

This continued for a long time, when Keira blasted them to stay quiet and let her sleep. The two brothers didn't stop watching but they did everything quietly. 

Feng Xinying reached the hospital in the next half an hour. She went inside and saw that Keira was feeding Xie Rong. Keira smiled at her sister-in-law feeling happy to see her after the two brothers who were constantly annoying her. When she finished feeding, Feng Xinying took the little girl and as if by instinct made her burp. 

After that she asked Xie Yuansheng to come close to her. Then she looked at Xie Shengjun and said, "Could you please take a picture of the three of us?" 

Xie Shengjun took her phone as she posed with Xie Yuansheng and Xie Rong whom she was holding in the middle. Xie Shengjun took multiple such photos. He had become his daughter's greatest fan. 

Feng Xinying handed Xie Rong to Xie Shengjun and he cradled her for a long time while she went back to sleep. He looked at Keira and asked, "When will she start playing with me?" 

"Soon," she replied making her husband smile brightly. 

It was when the two of them were returning back home, Feng Xinying again checked the messages on social media. The messages only multiplied. Now was the time!

She posted the photo she had taken with Xie Yuansheng and Xie Rong and captioned it, 

[Welcoming, Xie Shengjun's baby in our family. My husband's new girlfriend, Xie Rong.]

As soon as this was posted, the messages took a new turn altogether! 

[Aww so cute!]

Her message box filled with congratulatory messages and the post that was about to turn negative ended with a positive note due to Feng Xinying's thoughtful approach. 

She didn't have any money left with her and was in a desolate state. She cursed herself for being so rash in her decision. She was so blinded by his love that she couldn't help but cry at her state of affairs. How could she come to this situation? When she couldn't take it any longer, she packed a small suitcase that contained her clothes, some valuables and her pa.s.sport. She sold off her gold chain that she had hidden from him to buy a ticket back to China. She took a taxi to the airport and waited for her flight.
