"Tsk. How can this be? That b.i.t.c.h of a princess escaped the blades of the Dragon Order!!"
The unknown man sitting on a pricey looking chair, his face, covered by the smoke from the cigar he was smoking, clicked his tongue in frustration and said in harsh voice.
"Their report stated that they were beaten by a young man of unknown origin. All they know from the information they gathered from the entry gate is his name and age."
The only other man in the dimly lit room, while kneeling on the ground, stated so in a monotonous voice.
"Tck! How can a mere commoner even stand against a member of the Dragon Order, let alone beat 3 of them? This has to be the intervention of a third party who doesn't want our plan to succeed."
He kicks the stool on which his feet were placed.
He says as he throws his cigar in the kneeling man's direction.
"Hey, you are a commoner, aren't you? Could you have beaten the members of Dragon Order?"
"No master, I cannot imagine a scenario where I would continue to breathe after messing with even the weakest member among the whole Dragon Order."
The kneeling man with brown hair and the eyes of black colour said so in a weak voice.
"Weakest member huh... Yeah. Their weakest member is as strong as 1000 commoners. They undoubtedly live up to the name 'Dragon', they truly are the embodiment of 'power'. But then tell me. How did 3 of their top twenty a.s.sa.s.sins get thrashed by a brat!?"
The man who was clearly the master here, said to the servant in an enraged tone.
"I don't know."
Taking out a new cigar from his stash. He leans back and says in a dignified voice.
"Surely you don't, as expected of a mere commoner. Well, it doesn't matter, I just wanted to finish her off because she seemed to have a strong influence over the commoners. Arrange my travel to the Wise Kingdom of ATHENA. I'll take care of it myself. Initiate contact with the Dragon Order and the Crown Prince of the Kingdom."
After saying so, the man chuckled heartily.
"As you command. It would take about 10 days to travel from here to the Royal Capital of Kingdom Anthea, even with the magic-powered carriages and the most skilled magicians."
The man kneeling on the ground said so while maintaining his position as the subordinate.
"Time is not of any concern. Begin the preparations immediately. The plan is all but the same, existence of the princess doesn't hinder us at all. As for this brat. He will be dealt with as seen fit. What was his name again?"
"Toru."
"Toru… huh. The pieces are starting to move, sooner or later, the other side are going to show us some of their hands as well. Seems like this will turn out to be more fun than we initialy antic.i.p.ated. Fufufu."
