Feng Jianyu Brought her inside the house and make her sit at the couch, "Sit here! I'll be right back" Saying he went towards the kitchen.

Feng Junjie came running inside and sat down opposite Xiu Mei. Unlike his usual talkative att.i.tude, he was warily looking at her with an owl-like eye, being cautious to not say anything that might make her cry again.

But Xiu Mei was too preoccupied in her own thoughts that she didn't notice how Feng Junjie was gawking at her.

After some time Feng Jianyu came with a tub of Haggen Dazs lemon sorbet. Bringing the tub in front of her he said, "Have this! It'll refresh your mood…" She looked up at him puzzled.

"It's not an ice-cream but lemon sorbet, very refres.h.i.+ng… It'll help your body cool down" he said smiling at her. Xiu Mei shook her head in denial and averted her eyes from him.

He took a deep sigh, spooning a small chunk of ice-cream he brought it in front of her mouth, "Taste it once, it's really good…" Feng Junjie b.u.t.ted in, "Siste… I mean Miss. Xiu Mei, please try it once, otherwise, I'll think you are still angry at me…." He pouted his mouth.

Impa.s.sively she tasted the ice-cream offered by Feng Jianyu.

"Good na? Wanna have some more?" Feng Jianyu brought another spoon in front of her mouth.

She yanked the spoon away from her mouth and get up from her seat, "No… I don't want it. Thanks!"

Turning around she walked towards the direction of the stairs but stopped at the foot of stairs and called for her helpers looking around for them, "Uncle Tom! Aunt Mary! Where are you?"

Aunt Mary was preparing lunch in the kitchen, she came running from inside, "What happen Young Miss.?"

"I won't be eating lunch and dinner… Don't disturb me till am in my room." Without waiting for any reply she strode towards her room."

Feng Jianyu turned to look at her 'What happened to her? Why does it look like there is a deeper reason behind this sorry episode?' His eyebrows met in a scowl as he pondered about it looking at her departing figure.

Rubbing his chin, Feng Junjie tried to guess the situation, "I think Sister Mei Mei is on her periods today!"

"What?"

"Yes, brother! I have read it somewhere that a woman's emotions are out of control during those days of the month. Some get cranky, some behave emotionally… Should I order my a.s.sistant to get some ginger tea bags for her?" He jumped on to the side of his brother and asked wiggling his brows.

Feng Jianyu flicked his forehead hardly, "Silly!"

"Ouchh… brother that hurts!!"

"Don't stress your tiny brain too much… I know how to cheer her up" Feng Jianyu said calmly, holding a smile on his face.

Feng Junjie jumped excitedly in front of his brother, "Really! What's the plan? I'm in!"

"Hmmm! Then listen….."

Feng Jianyu told his entire plan to Feng Junjie. "Woww Brother…. That's a brilliant plan. I'm sure Sister Mei will love this." He said rubbing his palms in excitement.

"Now go and make the preparations" Feng Jianyu ordered him.

"I… I… Boss" But before he could leave Feng Jianyu warned him strictly, "Junjie… No goof-ups! Otherwise, I'll demote you to the position of my a.s.sistant for the next 6 months"

Feng Junjie shuddered from inside hearing this warning from his brother. There is no worse job in this world than becoming Feng Jianyu's a.s.sistant. His a.s.sistants are supposed to be available at his beck and call 24* 7 to address his onerous demands.

"No brother… I wouldn't dare to mess up! Especially when this is the question of my future sister in law's happiness."

"Good!" Feng Jianyu replied shortly and takes out his phone to call someone.

Xiu Mei went inside her room and locked the door securely so that no one could disturb her. She entered inside the bathroom and prepared her bathtub with cold water and a few drops of rose essential oil.

After taking a comfortable bath which lasted for almost 2 hours, her body does relaxed, but her mood doesn't. In her solitude and monotonous life, her only friends are her inventions. At present one of that friend is laying in her lab, waiting to get some of her attention.

She took a deep sigh, 'I better go to my lab and do some work to divert my attention. It's been a while I've last gone there. Don't know how Orange is managing everything there'

"Orange?" Her eyes widened as she takes his name, "How can I forget about him?" Thinking of her long forgotten friend, she promptly ran into her lab to check on him.

As soon as she opened the door of her lab, her eyes frantically look for him in every direction.
