Next day, Su Zixin was in a very bad mood. He did not know why his brother had given him a lecture on how he should not kiss his wife for real when acting.

"Doesn't brother trust me? He knows I have never kissed in real on onscreen then how can he think I will dare to kiss Xiao Mei?"

Xin Mei woke up and was ready for the day. She was feeling extra fresh and active. She was completely clueless about the phone call of brothers.

"Don't worry Xin Mei. You will give the best performance today. Don't forget about all the school plays where you have always excelled." Xin Mei consoled herself and jumped off the bed.

She got ready and had her breakfast, which was specially cooked by Su Yuchen.

"Hubby, don't worry about today's scene. I will not do something to make myself down in your eyes. So relax." She tried to cheer him up.

When she reached the shooting location, she found everyone was running around here and there, preparing for the scenes. Security was also tight that day.

The boundary was marked around the set from where the public was to watch the scene.

"Nervous?" director Zhang asked Xin Mei.

"A little. Today is my chance to impress the general public and I don't want to do any blunder with this chance." Xin Mei told him with truthfulness.

"Don't worry Xin Mei. I am sure, you will shock everyone with your powerful performance. After today, you will also get some loyal fans that will support your acting. You will get the needed attention and appreciation."

Xin Mei felt quite motivated and nodded her head. She hopped for the best outcomes from today.

In the morning, Chen Bai and Xin Mei shoot the scene where Emperor Jun and Ruyi were traveling toward the Kai kingdom. They also shared some intimate moments. The scene ended when Emperor Jun declared that they were going to set their tents for the night, beside the sh.o.r.e of the river.

In the afternoon, Chen Bai and Xin Mei were given time to relax and at the same moment, the public was allowed on the sets.

Director Zhang had taken proper precautions before allowing the public on the sets. Special guards were placed on the doors who were taking cameras and mobiles in their custody.

Director Zhang did not want any photo or video from this scene to be leaked out.

When Xin Mei came out from her vanity van, after getting her touch up done for the kissing scene, she was shocked to see the crowd of fans who had come to watch their scene.

The ground for the public was overcrowded. People arriving to watch the scene were more than expected. There were many fans of Xin Mei, many of Chen Bai and some of Zhou Mingyu, who were there to pa.s.s negative comment on the acting of Xin Mei.

There were also haters of Xin Mei who wanted to find some fault in her acting. Tourists to the city B had also arrived to watch the filming. They did not care who was acting or what film it was, they only wanted a new source of experience.

"Xin Mei, don't be nervous. No one will eat you. So relax. Act like your usual. Ok?" Su Zixin also tried to motivate Xin Mei. He could see that Xin Mei was getting nervous. "Forget that we will be watched by the public, Think that we are filming regular scene in front of our regular audience."

Xin Mei nodded her head and took a deep gulp of breath.

Director Zhang directed Chen Bai and Xin Mei about their scene. He also told them some postures, which they could use when kissing.

When it was nearing to the sunset, he asked everyone to take their positions. Then he spoke on his microphone with his attention toward his audience.

"I, director Zhang welcomes you all to the set of revenge. Today, we are going to film a kiss scene between emperor Jun and Ruyi. I hope you will enjoy watching them act as we all do. Now please maintain silence so we can start the scene."

Pin drop silence fell on the ground where now everyone was looking in the direction of Su Zixin and Xin Mei, waiting for them to start acting.

"Action."

"Ruyi, will you like to go on a boat ride with me?" Emperor Jun gave his hand to Ruyi. Ruyi blushed and gave her hand to him.

Emperor Jun smiled and gripped her hand tight. They both walked towards the river where a royal boat was waiting for them. Emperor Jun helped Ruyi in climbing the boat.

They both took their seats close to one another.

Su Zixin and Xin Mei were in their complete posture when acting their scene. Their acting was powerful like usual, which was not hidden from their audience. They could also feel buzzing chemistry in between them.

Finally, the moment arrived for which everyone was waiting for.

"Ruyi, I love you deeply. Please say yes to marry me." Emperor Jun pulled Ruyi close to himself. He could no longer wait to make her his.

He had already proposed marriage to her a multiple of times but she had always rejected. He also had logic that Ruyi was divorced so it was no big deal if she married him. Besides, everyone believed that her son was the son of Emperor Jun, so what was the problem.

"Emperor…"

"Please Ruyi…don't reject me this time. Please….." he pleaded and leaned toward her lips.

Ruyi bit on her lips and closed her eyes. Emperor Jun placed his palms on her cheeks and kissed his Ruyi.

Su Zixin placed his hand on the cheeks of Xin Mei to hide their lips from the public eyes. They were not kissing for real but they acted as if they were kissing for real.

Their reactions and actions were accurate. Xin Mei had clutched hard on the overcoat of Chen Bai and pushed her body closer to him, to give their kiss a more realistic effect.

At the same time, the prop manager also asked his a.s.sistants to float candles in the river and lanterns in the sky to give a magical effect to their first kiss.
