Soon emperor Jun and Ruyi arrived at the Kai kingdom and it was the time that director called for Tang Min, Zhou Mingyu and other cast members.

They were all very excited to again join the shooting of the movie. They were not expected such a long break from the shooting but if only they knew, Xin Mei and Chen Bai had s.n.a.t.c.hed away their screen times.

"Tang Min and Zhou Mingyu, I hope in your break you both have taken proper training to act in the rest of your scenes. As you can see Chen Bai and Xin Mei had raised your benchmark. You both will have to work hard if you want to reach their level of acting."

"Understood director." Zhou Mingyu nodded her head.

She was h.e.l.l jealous when she got to know Chen Bai was playing opposite to Xin Mei. She knew Chen Bai would add stars to the acting skills of Xin Mei.

Also, when Zhou Mingyu had read the comments on the online platform after their kiss scene, she had broken many of her precious things. She was raging with anger.

She felt hatred towards Xin Mei, who was trying it s.n.a.t.c.h everything from her!

It was one evening where everyone was still on the sets as they were filming a night scene. Xin Mei and Chen Bai were discussing the scene among themselves. On other side, Zhou Mingyu was burning whenever she saw the intersection in between them. Condition of Tang Min was not less.

"Senior Zhou, your boyfriend is here with dinner for everyone. Isn't he so sweet?" one of the female co-stars yelled and rushed towards Zhou Mingyu.

Zhou Mingyu planted a smile on her lips and walked towards Qian Fan.

"Bro Fan, you are here. I am so happy to see you. I don't know why but from morning onwards my mood was so terrible but now, that I have seen you, I am feeling quite happy." Zhou Mingyu smiled like a dotting girlfriend.

She stepped towards Qian Fan, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

"Mingyu, I brought some dinner for you and other cast members." Qian Fan informed and broke the hug. His eyes were searching for Xin Mei. It had been so long that he had last seen her.

Qian Fan was under an illusion that Xin Mei would rush towards him like in the past after seeing him but nothing like that happened. She spared him a glance before again looking towards the script in her hand.

The expression on the face of Qian Fan turned ugly when he saw how Xin Mei was ignoring him. He clutched his hand and took a deep breath to controlled his raging temper.

"Bro Fan, what have you brought in for dinner?" Zhou Mingyu gripped on the bicep of Qian Fan and looked at him with worry filled eyes. She felt a fear in her heart when she saw Qian Fan looking at Xin Mei without a blink of eyes.

"I have brought your favourite." He informed and asked his guards to distribute dinner to everyone, starting with Zhou Mingyu.

Everyone around Zhou Mingyu started to b.u.t.ter her and Qian Fan. Their b.u.t.tering was the only best thing, which Zhou Mingyu liked on the sets of revenge.

Zhou Mingyu had spread the rumours that Qian Fan was planning to start his own management company. In that company, he would pouch the stars and would be giving them double pay.

Everyone was in the greed of getting double pay so they were b.u.t.tering Zhou Mingyu. She had also lied about luxurious allowances, which their management company would be giving to the artists under them.

"Let me see what you have brought for me." Zhou Mingyu smiled and opened her packed food.

The smile left her lips when she saw the content in the tiffin box.

Didn't Qian Fan say that he had brought her favourite? Then what was Xin Mei's favourite doing inside the box?

With an ugly expression on her face, she looked at Qian Fan. He was again looking at Xin Mei.

Zhou Mingyu didn't know if she should keep smiling that Qian Fan brought dinner for her or should she cry that he was here to glance at Xin Mei and brought her favourite.

With two packed boxes in his hand, Qian Fan walked toward Chen Bai and Xin Mei. He took a deep breath before approaching them.

"Hi, Meimei. I brought dinner for you," he spoke quite informally, only to be ignored by her.

"Chen Bai, I have also brought dinner for you." Qian Fan pa.s.sed him the box with a friendly smile on his face.

Su Zixin scoffed when he saw the fake smile on his face. He was well aware of the real face of Qian Fan.

"We don't need your charity. Aunty He Lin is sending dinner for us." Chen Bai spoke and turned his attention toward Xin Mei.

"Xin Mei, have this dinner. It's your favourite."

"Mister Qian, are you deaf? Didn't you hear Chen Bai? My mother is sending dinner for us. We don't need your charity." She spoke with rudeness in her voice.

Before Qian Fan could speak another word, a guard came with their dinner. They both ignored him and walked to retrieve the dinner, which they had to their fill.

From far away, Zhou Mingyu looked at the scene. She felt jealous and helpless when she saw how Qian Fan was going away from her hand.

'I think it's time for me to search for some other rich man who can replace Qian Fan. He is no longer a puppet of my fingers!'
