Inside the hospital room, Bai Yue was happily chatting with Xin Mei. She told Xin Mei many things about the Su residence. She could not wait to return her home!

Ah, she had missed her home!

Xin Mei wanted Bai Yue to s.h.i.+ft to glory residence instead of Su residence but Bai Yue was in complete denial. She was missing her home and wanted to go there only. Moreover, she did not want to become a third party in between the newly couple.

If only she knew Su Zixin was already acting as the third wheel.

"Xin Mei, you know my Su residence is the best property in this country. I am sure you will fall in love with it the moment you will see it."

Bai Yue was continuously praising the beauty of Su residence which made Xin Mei curious. Now she wanted to see how this Su residence looked.

"Yue, I have signed the discharge form. You are all ready to leave now."

Bai Yue jumped when she heard Su Lingtian. She was already waiting for this.

Everyone made their way towards the Su residence in the cars which were arranged by Su Yuchen.

When they reached on the outskirts of the city, Xin Mei was surprised to see the huge property surrounded by trees. Bai Yue told her that it was the start of Su residence.

She pulled down the gla.s.ses of her window and enhaled the fresh air. She could feel pollution free air caressing her face and she liked this feeling.

"Wow, Su residence is very beautiful. Grandma wasn't being extravert when singing songs in praise of this residence."

Xin Mei praised and looked at the lavish mansion with astonishment filled eyes. 

Their cars came to an halt at the driveway of the mansion and Xin Mei stepped out. She again admired the Su residence.

"I know it's beautiful." Su Zixin praised and stood beside her. "That's why, I keep asking grandpa to gift this residence to me. But he is not ready to listen to me."

"Zixi, stop eyeing my residence. I am not going to gift it to you, not even after my death." Su Lingtian slapped on the head of Su Zixin and Su Zixin sulked.

Xin Mei was looking around at the garden and the mansion when three huge dogs came running towards them. They were also barking happily.

"Ah, mother." Xin Mei yelled loudly when she saw the dogs. She rushed behind Su Yuchen and climbed on his back. "Save me from the dogs. I'm afraid of them."

She cried loudly in fear and closed her eyes. Her heart was beating fast.

Xin Mei had a phobia of dogs. She preferred to keep herself one mile away from the dogs but now they were so close to her.

"Mei, don't be afraid of them. They are the pet dog of grandpa. They will not do anything to you." Su Yuchen gently patted on her head. "Open your eyes and look how lovingly they are looking at grandpa."

Xin Mei opened her eyes and then looked at the dogs which were lovingly barking towards Su Lingtian and Bai Yue. They had their heads lifted up and were waiting for Su Lingtian to lovingly pat on their heads.

Xin Mei looked at the dogs with awe.

"Xin Mei, don't feel attracted to them. Ask me, these dogs had once made me run all around the mansion before biting hard on my b.u.t.ts." Su Zixin groaned and involuntarily ma.s.saged his b.u.t.ts.

"Stop scaring her." Su Yuchen glared at him and at the same time dogs started to run towards him. They barked happily when they saw Su Yuchen.

"Mother," Xin Mei cried and climbed more onto the back of Su Yuchen. Her legs were tightly wrapped around his waist and hands around his neck.

Bark! Bark!

Dogs were barking cheerfully. They walked behind Xin Mei and started to bark louder.

"Yuchen save me. They will bite me."

"Mei, don't worry. They will not do such a thing with you. Step down from my back and try to pat on their head. I am sure they will love you."

"No, I am not climbing down from your back." Xin Mei looked behind at the dogs and she cringed when she saw their prolonged canines. Her heart started to beat fast when she saw their mouth full of sharp teeth.

"Shoo, shoo, go away." She said in a meek voice.

Meanwhile, the servants appointed to handle the dogs rushed towards them and took a hold of their belts. They pulled the dogs away from Xin Mei.

"Xin Mei, now the dogs are gone. You can climb down from the back of Su Yuchen. Or if you want, you can keep hugging him like this. This way both of you look so cute." Bai Yue teased.

Realization dawned upon Xin Mei and she quickly climbed down from the back of Su Yuchen. She looked around with embarra.s.sment and again, she gave a cold shoulder to Su Yuchen.

Xin Mei was shocked when she saw a long queue of servants at the door of the Su residence. They were waiting to welcome Bai Yue.

"Holy gosh, Su residence has so many maids and servants." She commented in surprise.

"Mei, if you want, we can also have so many servants at our home as well." Su Yuchen spoke but Xin Mei turned her face to another side in att.i.tude and he sighed.

"What happened Su Yuchen? Why is Xin Mei angry on you?" Su Lingtian asked to Su Yuchen when no one was noticing them.

"Grandpa, I yelled at her when she was trying to search about the Jiang family. You know how I feel about them. I don't want Xin Mei to know anything about them and my past." Su Yuchen sighed. "In my irrational and worry, I angered her."

"Don't worry, I will talk to her." Su Lingtian patted on his back and Su Yuchen smiled out of grat.i.tude.
