When Xin Mei returned home that day, she informed about her decision to Su Yuchen.

"Chen, today, I received a birthday invitation from Zhou Mingyu and I have decided that I will attend her birthday party."

Su Yuchen raised a brow and looked at her for an explanation.

"I want to attend her birthday party to see what she has planned for me. In my guts, I feel she wants to trap me in something and I want to trap her in her plan instead. Besides, I also have to take my revenge."

Su Yuchen smiled when he heard her. "What are you planning, Mei?"

Xin Mei grinned and told him about her plan. How she was going to make the best day in the life of Zhou Mingyu, her worst day!

"Mei, did I tell you I will be also attending her birthday?"

"You will?" Xin Mei raised her brow and looked at him.

"Today, I received a card personally from Mister Zhou. Earlier, I was not planning to attend her birthday party, but now that you are attending it, how can I not attend it?" Su Yuchen smiled at her and pa.s.sed her the card and chocolate box given to him by Zhou Zichen. 

"Husband will follow wife wherever she will go."

Xin Mei smiled and opened the chocolate box. She took a piece of chocolate and took its bite.

"Mmmm…this chocolate is delicious." She moaned in delight.

"Let me taste it." He bit on her fingers and took the half eaten chocolate in his mouth. 

Xin Mei blushed at his actions and slapped his shoulder. He chuckled and teasingly licked her finger.

"Don't act in this way." 

She again slapped his shoulder and took another chocolate from the box.

"That is enough, Mei. No more chocolates for you." Su Yuchen pulled the box from her hand and closed it.

"What do you mean by enough?" Xin Mei s.n.a.t.c.hed the box back.

"Mei, I don't want you to have cavities in your mouth. So, you are not having any more chocolate."

Xin Mei groaned when she heard him. "Stop acting like a father. Even he was not so strict like you. Now return my chocolates to me."

"No, I will not."

"Please…." Xin Mei lifted her lips and formed a cute pout of her lips. She blinked a few times and looked at him with a pleading face.

Su Yuchen felt weak in front of her puppy face and gave her the chocolate box.

"I am seriously spoiling you very much." He groaned and shook his head.

"Don't act like this. I know you love to spoil me."

She giggled and her giggle was followed by the chuckle of Su Yuchen.

The next day, after filming, Xin Mei returned home and the professional makeup team of Su Yuchen was already waiting for her.

She had personally asked for this team because tonight, she wanted to look her best. She wanted to steal the limelight at the party of Zhou Mingyu like she had always done with her birthday party.

It would be her first payback tonight.

Xin Mei got ready in her dress from grace. Her dress was of jade color and it looked beautiful on her. The makeup artist did a good makeup on her which highlighted all the beautiful features of her face.

Xin Mei wore emerald and diamond earrings in her ears where the diamond was in Columbia cut and weighted Nearly 23.34 carrot. This pair was brought for her by Su Yuchen during the auction.

She wore a jade stone ring in her finger including her wedding ring. In her left wrist, she was wearing the expensive diamond and jade watch given to her by SZ and then Su Yuchen.

In all, she was not looking any less than a lady from some very rich family. She was sure tonight everyone was going to praise her only.

"Mei, tonight you are looking very beautiful." 

Su Yuchen felt mesmerized with the beauty of Xin Mei. He looked at her without any blink of eyes. And if she was not going to get a part of her revenge then he would have locked her in his room and had made love with her for the whole night.

"Stop looking at me like this." Xin Mei blushed under his penetrating gaze. "By the way, why aren't you ready till now? Changed your mind about attending the party?"

"Nah, I will be coming after some time. I love to get fas.h.i.+onably late." Xin Mei chuckled when she heard him.

When Xin Mei arrived in the living room, Su Zixin was already waiting for her. He was going to accompany Xin Mei at the party. He was strictly instructed by Su Yuchen to look after Xin Mei.

Su Yuchen had also sent his secret bodyguards to the party. They would be present at the party in the disguise of waiters, guards, or some guests.

When Xin Mei and Su Zixin arrived at the hotel where birthday bash of Zhou Mingyu was taking place, they were shocked to see the crowd formed by the fans of Zhou Mingyu. They had posters of Zhou Mingyu in their hands and were singing birthday songs without any stop.

Xin Mei and Su Zixin entered the hotel and the party hall. Both felt impressed with all the preparations which were done for the party. 

"Zhou Mingyu has spent so much money for her birthday party." Su Zixin commented and took a gla.s.s of wine from the pa.s.ser by waiter.

Su Zixin recognized the waiter and gave him a nod of his head. He took another gla.s.s of wine from his tray.

"Not Zhou Mingyu, it's done by Mister Zhou." Xin Mei corrected him. "He had invited Su Yuchen. So, no big deal, he had thrown this party only to impress him."

Su Zixin nodded his head. He gave a wine gla.s.s to Xin Mei and took a sip from his gla.s.s of wine.

"Here comes your prey for tonight." Su Zixin pointed towards Zhou Mingyu who was climbing down the stairs. 

A smile appeared on the lips of Xin Mei who was all ready to spoil this plan c.u.m party of the Zhou's.
